OK, better.

At least it's more enlightening than watching the Kardashians.

PS Sorry, Ann.

It's quite similar to the webcam that Happy Dogz daycare has installed to allow owners to watch how their pups interact socially.

As you all know, I am a GOP who voted for Obama in 2008. I was wrong I believed. I want Romney to be the nominee. But, the GOP is fraud, they will nominate Newt. I cannot vote for Newt. I just cannot even think about it. I could vote for Paul, but not Newt.

So, in 2012, I will once again vote for Obama.

I cannot vote for any man who abuses women like Clinton, Newt, and others.

I still am loyal to GOP but I have my limits. I cannot support hypocrisy.

The only thing "despicable" is Newt treatment of wife #1 and wife #2.

No one should vote for this fraud.

Good. This is big, and with Wisconsin's recent history is should be watched and accountable. In the end, it will be a turn out race; Dane and Milwaukee Co.'s v Waukesha and Washington Co.'s. If it is honest, so be it, if not, expose it.

Happy Dogz is on topic but Newt being caught on webcam with a hanger giving his wife an abortion isn't?

I am pro-Walker. But here is my bet and prediction: Walker is recalled for this reason: Many of his reforms will stick as the norm, even if he is removed. The financial concessions are now realized and local communities will be stubborn to give that up in the future. Firefighters and Police are still exempt. Knowing this, Wisconsin will pick the "peace" as they have done between other cultural division. My best example are Wis Synod Lutheran v. Catholic, which was not so long ago. German and Irish is mixed blood, at peace; inside families.

TCB-n-a-Flash said...

I experience the division within my own SE Wisconsin family. The Senate is vulnerable but the House will be hard to take back, and the court. Even that first Dane Co pro-union candidate 'what's her name', is already putting out soft language about restoration of the concessions and the bargaining "rights".

TCB-n-a-Flash said...

So Walker will be removed, but his legacy as one of Wisconsin's great reformers will live on. Maybe not in LaFollette statuary glory, but in the healthy financial legacy he will leave the people he was elected to lead.

Because of the family divisions; this topic can not be discussed at gatherings; it's now become religion. This swing voters that voted for Walker, will see certain things realized, they are not as entrenched or as ideologically committed to Conservationism.

Swing voters is Wisconsin will give the Union/Dem/Left wing members of their families a concession, after gaining so much. In most Wisconsin Families, this dynamic exists.

Wisconsin is unique financially is a few ways. Historically for one, even the Socialist Mayors of Milwaukee balanced budgets and made progress. During the Great Depression, Milwaukee was a rare American City the PAID ITS BILLS. Mayor Hoan as on the cover of Time for this accomplishment alone. But his kind of debt and deficit was not their vision of community health, so their Ideology is removed from their decedents.

TCB-n-a-Flash said...

All I'm saying is the cultural and family relationships, will matter. Wisconsin will sacrifice Walker, one man, for their love of the Packers, Beer, Raw Beef on Rye, Fishing, Deer Hunting, Venison Sausage, Bratwurst, Dart-Ball, the Dells, and...those things that bring the families peace. The swing voter will pick that. Not to Blame Walker; but the eternally unmovable side has been moved.

Walker wins big. Big!

For months now he will be airing the ad that says -- say it with me now -- "I reduced the 3.6 billion dollar budget without raising taxes and without cutting services" (I like to say 'without laying off government employees or teachers' (like Doyle did).

The only problem is that so many people can't imagine being 3.6 billion in debt - until they look at Illinois.

Also, there will be wide spread horror when over 20 percent of the signatures turned in are challenged as fraudulent. The media will not cover this, but the blogospher - Thanks Ann -- will

His competitors?

Kathleen Falk? has multiple losses in state-wide elections. Mayor Barret? He doesn't want to run and will only if Obama twists his arm (again).

Peter Barca? A whiny excuse for a man - everybody's inadequate, childish brother-in-law.

Erfenbach? Wait till the pictures of him whooping it up at the Tilted Kilt in Rockford come out.

Big win.

Jason said...

If Kathleen Falk is the best the Dems can do, they stand no chance. None.

The Dems can only bitch about Walker for so long. In the end, they have to convince the non-union crowd that the candidate they put out is a better option. And with most everybody's property taxes staying the same or going down, with school districts now suddenly flush with cash, and municipalities now all of a sudden being able to balance their books without reductions in services, I fail to see what leg the Dems stand on. They cant attack Walker on any of those fronts.

I still laugh when I see the superintendent of Madison schools saying in a speech last February that he would have to lay off nearly 300 teachers if Walker's budget had passed. To this date, they havent laid off anyone. Hell, Tom Barrett used Walker's budget rules to cut Milwaukee's taxes considerably. The mileage Walker can get out of that alone is stunning...Walker's policies are a disaster, but the mayor of the biggest city in the state used them to save his city money and to balance his budget?

A few commercials about how bad the protests were, showing signs of Walker as Hitler or Walker in crosshairs, all of the "Shame" shit...in the end, its going to equal a victory for Walker as big or bigger than his 2010 spread.

So will Wisconsin become California, or Texas?

That the former is dying is not seen as a concern for Garage and the left.

Whether they believe it's true or not is immaterial; blue state economics eventually and always result in a fiscal death spiral (see Greece, Spain, Detroit).

Or maybe they don't really give a shit.

So is the left stupid, or evil?

Texas is definitely the goal.

Great comeback, Garage.

So defend California, or Illinois, or New York, or Detroit.

Or tell us why "this time it'll be different", how the same old mix of lefty overspending and union over-reach will somehow result in economic growth in Wisconsin, where everywhere else it has caused state penury.

I'm all ears. I'm sure Krugman has a defense.

But no examples anywhere that it has worked.

It's like you think no one has ever figured out that people make bullshit graphs out of cherry-picked data before.

or specifically why WI is different.

Look at the data since Walker's budget was passed in June. This is not a secret, it's in the goddamn papers every day. 6 straight months of job losses. The job gains under Walker took place under Doyle's budget.

Are you seriously surprised? Taking one billion dollars out of the economy leads to......? What did you think would happen?

You support Obama's decision to deny the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline.

You also supported Obama's decision to stop offshore drilling.

Pretending you care about "jobs" is silly & obscene.

Taking one billion dollars out of the economy leads to......?

Yes, because government spending creates jobs!

"Taking one billion dollars out of the economy leads to......? What did you think would happen?"

So you take $1B of state taxes away from the economy and WI employment increased in 2011 over 2009 and 2010.

But if you ignore seasonal variation and greater-than-one-year comparisons, you miss little things like that.

Jay said...

I didn't say he stopped off shore drilling.

Idiot.

Example:
Pointing to the BP blowout and risks of a new environmental disaster, the Obama administration reversed itself Wednesday and promised not to pursue offshore drilling in the eastern Gulf of Mexico or anywhere else along the nation's East Coast.

Don't worry, you can't respond other than to try and argue against things that were never said or type "LOL"

Bozo.

Jay said...

There is no "Walker disaster"

Otherwise, "jobs" is just something you try and use in a political sense. You have not the slightest care about people actually working.

Pogo said...

Oh, I see.

You actually believe that there's a multiplier effect in government spending.

Well, there is, but it's less than one.

John M Auston said...

To "shiloh":

You used the word 'whining' incorrectly. But based on the context, you probably meant 'scolding', or 'admonishing', or 'opining', or even 'describing'. All of those would be appropriate. 'Whining' is not. Nor would be 'complaining' (I should know. I wrote the comment).

The English language is rich in choices. Strive for accuracy.

It just makes communication more difficult when someone willfully or ignorantly uses the wrong word, especially if it is done to mischaracterize the other person's words.

The only morons are those that think ALEC/Heritage/Club for Growth policies actually benefit people and create jobs. It's quite the opposite. As yo can clearly see in that graph.

*GIGGLE*

Reagan's Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 slashed the top federal income tax from 70 percent to 50.
...
At the two-and-a-half-year mark (July 20, 1983) Gross Domestic Product under Reagan grew at 9.3 percent.
....
During the Reagan presidency, an average of 1.7 million jobs
per year were created

PS, Total jobs created in the 3 years(36 months) of the Obama economy are a negative 2,483,000.

Why don't you post more drivel?
