Anyone know if it is safe yet to update iTunes and Safari?

Only do it if you're into new look and feel.

Will it crash my computer though? And cause other damage?

I haven't downloaded the new Safari so I don't have an opinion there.

I did mine last night and had no problems at all. I then downloaded Bob Dylan's Blonde and Blonde and burned my Ipod.

W00t! My new 4th Gen iPod Touch just arrived by Fedex. I tracked its progress from Kunshan, China, to Shanghai to Anchorage to Memphis to Fort Myers, FL over three days. It was weird to see time going backwards as it arrived in Anchorage before it left Shanghai, courtesy of the miracle of the International Date Line. Projected delivery time was by noon today; it arrived at 12:30. Not bad, Fedex.

I updated to iTunes 10 a few days ago and haven't had any problems.

I was trying to explain "Moby" to someone, but I can't find an entry on wikipedia.

The background is still here, but wasn't there a full wiki entry about this kind of thing?

+urban +moby

iTunes updated a while ago, dropped my playlists, replaced with iTunes DJ which showed me I really do need to go through and clean out that crap.

Thanks for the tip, Chip.

I have many, many doubles in my itunes library. I'd like to blame my kids for this, but I think that it came from me messing up a back-up.

A year ago, when this bothered me, the folks at the genius bar didn't have a solution.

Many comedians claim that they can't do decent Obama impressions because there is nothing to mock.

Yet Drudge is doing it today in print:

'For. All. The. Progress. We've. Made. We're. Not. There. Yet.'...

and

'It's. Understandable. That. People. Are. Saying. "What. Have. You. Done?"'...

No sense hurting people.

Good advice. Maybe you should also email it over to the baby killing mill mentioned in your link.

I gave up on Safari about six months ago, after it continually froze up. No issues with Firefox since then. (Oddly enough, Safari works just fine on the iPhone; I have no idea why the non-mobile version is suddenly such a mess.)
