At the top of The Washington Post website: "Police detain a demonstrator at University of Wisconsin-Madison."

The headline to the left of that photo goes to the article "Tension between protesters, police continues on campuses across U.S." Excerpt:
Police at the University of Wisconsin at Madison campus arrested at least 12 people Friday morning and removed an encampment of protesters.... Police said some officers were injured during the arrests.

The school in a news release said it was not clear how many of the arrested protesters were affiliated with UW-Madison....

Despite the early-morning arrests and efforts by police to break up the encampment, protesters began pitching new tents on Library Mall hours after police removed them....

Hamas has cheerleaders in every college town.

So, focus is on injured police. not possible police brutality. If this MSM paper approved of the protest, it would be other way round.

I'm feeling magnanimous today.

Let's start with rubber bullets and see how it goes...

"Demonstrator?" How was he demonstrating? Based on the use of the term demonstrator I presume what he was demonstrating was that he didn't like Israel or its actions.

The protestors should merge black lives matter to produce one giant, useless force, in accordance with Blair's Law

The cops need to do hourly arrest sweeps, and put the thugs in front of judges who won't give bail

Professors were arrested in loco Madison today.

One Assistant Professor of Musicology, Gabrielle Cornish, tweeted, "Police at UW have warned protestors that have 15 minutes until they use force. Anyone able to make it to campus, please do!!"

The faculty is helping escalate the situation. Not just at UW. Last night UCLA was a madhouse at the encampments were attacked, and the police didn't step in.

Columbia protest leaders are demanding the University provide food to protestors who have taken over buildings...claiming it's part of the paid for meal plan.

They remind me of the men who braved the cold winter at Valley Forge.

"There's nothing I hate more than racism and Jews" said the green haired white suburban girl at UW-Madison.

We do know there are Soros paid protest organizers on the campuses. What kind of sheep would follow this? None of the actions are organic.

Meanwhile, Trump is on-stage in Waukesha County Expo Center right now (5/1/24 3pm). The contrast and cultural chasm between Dane County (Madison) - and Waukesha County (Dancing Grannies) is amazing. Thank God Jefferson County provides a 30 mile buffer zone.

It helps Madison remain comfortable in their self-centered isolation; or else they'd have to actually listen to the daily problems facing Milwaukee. Bitches and Pricks.

An administration (campus or city) that arrests, identifies, and then prints the mugshots of the 'alleged' protestors, is an administration that is interested in seeing this chapter come to a close. This process will identify the fraction of activists that aren't actually students, but are trained operatives. Once the face tattoos with fishing tackle and punk haircuts start lining up, the voting populace is going to have a lot less patience.

So this phase is a test of administrations.

They tried to start something here at VCU in Richmond, VA last night. The authorities are getting smart. They broke it up and started arresting people immediately. 2/3 of the people arrested were not college students, and most were from out of town. Who is financing this stuff?

I've wondered how many of the protesters at any of the campuses are affiliated with those schools. I'm sure there are enough students to provide camouflage, but I suspect there are number of professional agitators.

Homage to Catatonia: Inside the University Protestor Encampments
" 'I know more than the foolish students attending classes because I know how to agree with The Latest from Wokie Central,' explains a young woman, I mean man, I mean, HEEELP!!." Sounds of scuffling, camera swings about wildly. Back to National Propaganda News Desk. "While we wait to hear whether our (of course) diverse Hispanic/Trans reporter who was unfortunately mistaken for a white male Zionist spy survived his mostly peaceful encounter with Hamas Encampment Security, our weather expert will explain how increasing terror from raindrops that keep falling on your head due to climate change can be mastered with indigenous techniques from the Maya of Peru.

I attended UC Santa Barbara 1967-68. There were demonstrations all up and down the California coast, from Berkeley to San Diego. If you watched the "news" each week, you'd see that the same faces showed up 1 week in Berkeley, the next in Santa Barbara, the next in L.A., finally at the end of the month in San Diego. It wasn't "organic" then, and it isn't now. Look at the printed signs: ANSWER and RevComUSA. Same old same old "revolutionary left" BS. Same as it ever was.

Arrest them, suspend them, expel them and, for the benefit of potential employers, post their names.

Tension between police and protestors? More like tension between people going about their daily lives and protesting jackwagons have resulted in said jackwagons being arrested.

who is paying for the tents?
And as a doc, I wonder: where are the toilets, where are they getting food, and who is cleaning up the garbage?
I worry about this with the homeless camping on the streets too.
So when will typhoid, typhus (lice) hepatitis A or B (similar to the epidemic in San Diego a few years ago), etc.

It's all fun and games until the dogs are released.

...And here is Lisa Fithian, professional protest operative - on the scene, and of course, on the job, at the Columbia protest. 'Who pays her expenses,' you might ask. 'Who pays her salary,' you might wonder.

Everywhere, it starts with distracting people with free speech debates. Then it becomes "peaceful occupation" debates. Then it becomes violent occupation while claiming "they are being attack by police" statements. Then they demand to negotiate. If you don't negotiate, they destroy more of the taxpayers' property on campuses. Only then do quisling administrators act, and they often jist join with protesters blaming the very police they called in too late to restore order. Then the protest turns to the imaginary topic of police brutality, and that's all the media reports. Then they assault the police in ways they have been trained to do, with the tacit or open support of many faculty. Then the involved faculty whine that, as advanced life forms, they are not subject to society's rules. Then that becomes the subject. They the protesters demand the administrators get them released. Then administrators claim the troublemakers are from elsewhere, so their own student terrorists who chose to riot mist face no consequences. The the NLG swoops in to make it about police brutality and Gaza for their professional terrorists and demand their release too.

This isn't an escalation: it's a blueprint. It's all planned in advance. Why can't all the smart people on campuses understand this, with the mountains of evidence we have?

Because they largely support the terrorists destroying the taxpayers' campuses and taxpayer funded private campuses.

I note that the crackdown on these bigots appears to be suddenly erupting everywhere. As welcome as it is (and the more arrests and ACTUAL punishments to follow the better), I am curious about the suddenness of this turn to firmness. I wonder if the Biden team has not at last realized the dangers to them posed by this eruption of the antisemitism of the left. Did the signal go out to blue city pols and woke college administrators to clean up this act for the sake of The Party, especially with Chicago looming. Anyway, just wondering.
