"A judge warned Donald Trump and others at his New York civil fraud trial to keep their voices down..."

"... on Wednesday after the former president threw up his hands in frustration and spoke aloud to his lawyers while a witness was testifying against him. Judge Arthur Engoron gave the admonition after Trump conferred animatedly with his lawyers at the defense table during real-estate appraiser Doug Larson’s second day of testimony at the Manhattan trial. State lawyer Kevin Wallace asked Engoron to ask the defense to 'stop commenting during the witness’s testimony,' adding that the 'exhortations' were audible on the witness’s side of the room. The judge then asked everyone to keep their voices down, 'particularly if it’s meant to influence the testimony.'"

The Guardian reports.

I thought pre-trial motions and depositions were meant to ensure that people couldn't spring surprises at trial.

If the courtroom resembles a television drama, is because the dammed thing is rigged against Trump.

It they can steal an election from him, a trial against him is a sham shoo-in.

This judge is evil re suppressing DJT ‘s ability to speak. My kind of judge is Mike Judge, he wrote about a court room, not controlled by elites, that would welcome DJT. Mega MAGA justice is the only justice for me.

The press, judge, politicians... political figures are not similarly gagged.

Trump has a belief system — if he’s not attacking it makes him look guilty. Does Trump realize that he has already been found guilty? This isn't that kind of trial — that one is over. This is the penalty phase and Trump is about to have the curtain pulled back.

Donald Trump would do good to warn these judges about what's coming once he's re-elected.

I don't think they're going to like what's coming.

The media has decided to cancel the trial. Not a word about it that I have seen. Testimony is proving Trump is right.

Charged with fraud, except no one knows they were victims of fraud. Even after they were told.

Donnie Dumpster is incapable of behaving in a civilized manner. Since this is the case, he needs to be put in a room with a remote camera and microphone facing him, along with a TV set so he can see the trial. The camera and microphone would be off, unless a direct response is needed by the court or by his attorneys. We don't allow deranged maniacs to disrupt court proceedings; why should Donnie be an exception?

Personally, I'd like to see Donnie suffer the fate of Fortunato in A Case of Amontillado(Edgar Alan Poe) upon his conviction(the one that carries the death penalty). Even better would be if there was a camera watching every move he makes, with Pay Per View available to watch his last hours.

Savage? Yep! No more so than the damage he inflicted on the United States and the world by his actions as president. And I don't think that this would trigger the law against cruel and unusual punishment; he's not being tortured in any way.
