Adam Schitt will soon open up an investigation.

Trump stands up there and takes every question until the reporters wear themselves out.

I'll know what Tiger King is in about five years. If the virus doesn't get me first. I'm catching up on Poldark now.

Trump was just being polite to the reporter. And for Trump that takes some effort.

Trump was playing along because it had to do with his son joking along with something. Trump knew which son was being referred to. It was Don, and there was some genuine warmth and affection in Trump's manner. I think that was about the son. But also, to some extent, Trump enjoys a change of pace.

A "reporter" asked that, eh?

Ben Rhodes: "“The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns… They literally know nothing.”

But they do watch Netflix.

Loved watching the reporter behind him. She was paying scant attention. Then the question snapped her to attention. Then the smirk.

I imagine this paints me as stupid, but I have no idea what this is about.

Not in my eyes. Never seen the show. but I have a daughter in law that is pushing me to watch. Her description makes that pretty unlikely.

Joe Exotic has a VERY good publicist. I've heard him mentioned 5 times, counting the Presidents presser, this week. Never heard of him before this week.

JAORE: the reporter behind him started with a smirk, but finished with a real smile.

I thought millions of Americans ARE GOING TO DIE!?!?!?!

And this fool is asking about an effing TV show?

Bay Area Guy said...

Trump is at ease, handling the nonsense quite well.

The high point of his career - being called on by a president and then getting to ask a question. Never mind that it was a mind-blowing stupid question, he'll be reliving and sharing that high point at Thanksgiving dinners for years.

"I was watching her big bosom."

Great minds.

It's the one question Trump was most qualified to answer

Ben Rhodes? Did someone say Ben "cat got your tongue" Rhodes?

I love that guy!

Good Poldark or new Poldark?

Back in the 70s we didn't go anywhere on Sunday night. I had to stay home and watch Poldark (and all the other great Masterpiece Theatres)

I was in love with Angahard Rhees. She was my backup plan in case Diana Rigg wouldn't have me.

Re "I will take a look", sounds like my version of "We'll see" when my kids were growing up. They knew it meant "No. Not gonna happen. Now leave me alone."

It is incredible that in the midst of millions (well, thousands, anyway) of people dying in the US of the dreaded Kung Flu! that a reporter would waste everyone's time with a question like that.

Shameful.

Who believes these guys are anything but adolescent morons?

The average IQ of these “journalists” is less than my little schnoodle.

Willfully ignorant snowflake mediocrities.

I watched it live, and thought it made Trump look very human and normal (“normal” not always being his strong suit).

As to it being a silly question to ask during a deadly pandemic, is it any worse than the “gotcha” reporters asking the same stupid fucking questions multiple times a day? To me it was a breath of fresh air.

AZ Bob said...

"Are you recommending a pardon?"

Good come back.

John henry said...

Well, back to normal for all the people who have not been totally fucked out of their jobs and businesses by this massive scam.

Not the virus. That's real. the reaction to it, the attempt to use it to bring PDJT down, THAT's the scam.

One of the associates of mr exotic is a fellow named tabraue, hes the one they compare to tony montana, particular because of a certain real life event that paralleled a scene in the film, shot at thebeacon hotel in miami beach.

Not a lot of Tiger King fans here apparently. It doesn't sound like my kind of show, but I'll give it a go because everyone else is watching it. Perhaps it will help me feel part of the American community and ease my sense of quarantine.....I made it through the last season of Ozark. It was an annoying experience. Chunks of it were well written, but the plot hooks were frequently hung upon plot holes. Still, I did make it through. I persisted. That's how we'll make it through this crisis--by watching television together.

Kind of a real life coen bros, but none of the characters are sympathetic the pitch meeting people summarized it well.

These reporters want people to DIE!

Trump handled that perfectly. If he'd have said; "Huh? What?" they'd be trying to conjure up Nixon walking down the beach in his brogues and dress socks. If he'd shown much in the way of knowledge of the show it would have been; "Trump is unserious! He watches crap TV!".

Was Nadia the Coronavirus tiger at the Bronx Zoo treated with Trump pills?

So many lightweight reporters who aren't prepared and can't ask proper questions. Like the guy two days ago who asked about oil prices and when Trump asked him about the current oil price he could only smile sheepishly. Or the female reporter who wanted to ask about mislabeling of cause of death statistics, but her question came out about questioning death, and Trump answered that he was sure that those people listed as dead were indeed dead.

Trump is masterful, and I think, his audience at the daily briefings eclipses all other tv shows except NCIS and 60 Minutes.

No wonder the Left is mad... I watch the briefing every day and he seems to get better and better each day!

Can it be this is an early indicator that we are approaching or at the peak of the crisis? People are starting to feel comfortable being not super serious all the time?

Al Kaline was the Tiger King!

RIP.

Trump enjoys this stuff so much.

Loved the question and loved his answer even more.

I won''t see the program because it's on Netflix but even I know that Carol Baskin murdered her husband.

Who is that reporter? He reminds me of Sheldon Cooper.
