"President Trump, on his first trip abroad, will travel later this month to Saudi Arabia, Israel and Rome in an effort to unite three of the world’s leading religious faiths in the common cause of fighting 'intolerance,' terrorism and Iran..."

WaPo reports.
In a Rose Garden ceremony to sign an executive order on religious freedom, Trump planned to say that “tolerance is the cornerstone of peace.” His trip, he said in prepared remarks, “will begin with a truly historic gathering in Saudi Arabia with leaders from all across the Muslim world,” where “we will begin to construct a new foundation of cooperation and support with our Muslim allies to combat extremism, terrorism and violence.... Our task is not to dictate to others how to live but to build a coalition of friends and partners who share the goal of fighting terrorism and bringing safety, opportunity and stability to the Middle East.”
What's that executive order? It's explained in this other WaPo article.
President Trump on Thursday said he would direct the Internal Revenue Service to relax enforcement of rules barring tax-exempt churches from participating in politics as part of a much-anticipated executive order on religious liberties.

The order... also offers unspecified “regulatory relief” for religious objectors to an Obama administration mandate... that required contraception services as part of health plans.

The left will go nuts about this but they are about as far as they can go now.

Good luck with Saudi Arabia President Trump. The other two Religions are mostly on board already.

He's starting the trip in Riyadh. I guess that's best, he'll be the most rested for that part, which will probably be the most difficult.

I wouldn't want to be in charge of security.

Right. He can't even unite his own party or country.

This can't be Trump's idea. He must be under some kind of adverse influence.

As a [nominal] Presbyterian, he surely cannot see the Pope as the head of the Christian Church [Christ is the head]. And judging from the current pope's remarks, he is clueless about the threat of radical Islam. The Saudi's? Financiers of 9/11?
Good grief!

Oh noes! A bunch of fuckwits parade around with pussy hats on their heads in astroturfed demonstrations not knowing what the fuck is going on.

As for not uniting the republicans... duh. Half of them still serve the same people who bought the democrat party. Of course Paul Ryan and the other oligarch pets are trying to undermine him. Paul Ryan is still the same guy who wants open borders and passed Obama's "continuing resolutions" on voice votes.

They don't serve republican voters any more than democrats serve their voters.

The foundation of Islam is intolerance.

Saudis, not Saudi's.

Saudi Arabia won't allow churches, synagogues, the Bible, or Torah within their borders.

He should be going to Jordan instead, a strong U.S. ally who has been fighting Arab terrorists since the 1970's and has signed a peace treaty with Israel. We don't need Saudi Arabia's oil anymore.

Well, since I realize that hatred is the default attitude of Republicans, I guess writing off the >>>50% of the country that can't stand the guy is easier if you just mention funny hats and "fuckwits".

Funny. So now everyone against Trump is for the same reason: border control and corporations. No son, his detractors extend far beyond the enemies that he picked.

They don't serve republican voters any more than democrats serve their voters.

And yet, their effort to price 24 million Americans out of medical coverage today was agreed to by a majority of them. We'll see how well that abomination goes in the "mature chamber," but it seems Republicans are still more than willing and capable of finding ways to come together to screw the American people. They got the "Hate poor Americans" faction, the "Hate Immigrants" faction, the "Hate the Sick and Elderly" faction, and the "Hate Healthy Americans" faction - all coming together in harmonious unity to realize their common dream!

The Saudis are in big trouble economically and with Iran.

I have little to no sympathy for them. FDR sold his soul for oil in 1945 on the way home from Yalta where he sold the other half.

In spite of Obama, we are now an oil and gas exporter again.

Soon LPG will be flowing into gas terminals in Europe. Putin is in almost as much trouble as Saudis. Only Obama kept him going the past 8 years.

Want to bet that insurance premiums come down over the next 18 months?

If 24 million lose their coverage, it'll be 24 million who don't have it before the rest of us started paying for them.

What would have been your preferred outcome with ACA? You do admit it was unsustainable. Right?

That's a good one. Life under Saudi rule is the very definition of living under a severely extreme theocratic tribal monarchy....theocratic tribal monarchy...just keep repeating that...theocratic tribal monarchy....

Perhaps her good friend Tinyhands Trump could replace Penice with Hillary as his VP since you obviously miss her so much.

I realize that with her out of the picture, you thought no one would notice how horribly this President Orange and his assistant, Liverspot, would be underperforming. But no, people notice.

I guess if you really fuck up a job it would be one thing to bitch about your co-workers. Another when you protest by noting how much better a job you're doing than the bum on the street who's not even employed by the company.

How desperate an excuse do you liars need?

Nothing about Atheists, who are historically competitors with Muslims for the title of the world's premier abortionists, slavers, [class] diversitists, redistributive changers, and minority leaders. At least the leftist variety, that bitterly cling to their twilight faith.

Thank God the Queen is Dead, no where in our dreams would anything this fresh show up ever in her administration. just initiating such a surprising approach upends and refocuses energies in the clinton/kerry mismanaged state department for the area.

Oh, and yes, good: "The order... offers unspecified “regulatory relief” for religious objectors to an Obama administration mandate... that required contraception services as part of health plans."

all through the campaign I remembered it was the clinton administration, with his woman attorney general reno, that can be remembered for burning Christian children alive outside Waco for their parents beliefs. I can't separate Hilary from that psychochemistry.

so today trump normalized distant health care edicts that persecute religious folk? hallelujah.

all things made new and

The percentage of idiots at those demonstrations and the people that agree with them is no where near 50%

Funny. So now everyone against Trump is for the same reason: border control and corporations. No son, his detractors extend far beyond the enemies that he picked.

There are some idiots that can't honestly say why they are against things. Like Obamacare supporters. You have to be completely dishonest intellectually to support any part of obamacare. It is written to make insurance companies rich and they didn't even do that right.

And yet, their effort to price 24 million Americans out of medical coverage today was agreed to by a majority of them. They are pricing out 100 million people to subsidize those 24 million people. Not acknowledging that you are causing pain to people by taking their stuff and giving it to those 24 million people is dishonest and lame. You and your friends are doing nothing for those 24 million people other than stealing from someone else to give them things. There is no honor in that.

He is actually tougher than Jackson. And he will need God's speed to dodge all
the shots, spiritual and material, that will be sent against him.

He will out ceremonial show the Pope, out chant the Muzzies, and stun the Jews that are longing for a Temple to be built in Jerusalem.

The heavens will have to
move at Trump speed to catch up.

Have you considered a possibility that Trump is suffering (if that is the right word) from dementia? As a hypothetical? Not 3-dimensional chess, no art-of-deal, but a scenario in which his mind is not as sharp as it once was. Think about it.

Poland is taking delivery of our LNG as we speak. As Gasprom tries to blackmail Europe the more attractive American natural gas looks.

Yes KK That has been brought up before and rejected. Trump has consistantly been one jump ahead of you.

Remember they had to outright lie in order to get it passed.

Wow, you mean Trump was maybe even better eight years ago? Too bad he didn't run for president then, he'd've sent Obama home to Mommy in a box.
