There are lots of petroglyphs in Northern Arizona. I tried making a petroglyph in the same sort of stone found there. It takes a VERY long time to make a dent, even in sandstone.

These are done by people with time or focus, and I don't know if a child could keep rubbing with another rock on the sandstone long enough to make these glyphs. Or, maybe only children had the time?

PB, do you have any daughters in public schools? I thought not.

"Henry Sanchez, 18, of the Aspen Hill neighborhood of Rockville, Maryland, and Jose Montano, 17, have been charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offense in the violent assault of the female student. WTOP has a policy of not naming minors charged with crimes but Montano is being charged as an adult.

The victim told police she was walking in a school hallway on March 16 at about 9 a.m. when the two male students approached her, according to charging documents. Montano asked her twice to have sex, and after she refused, he forced her into a boys’ bathroom and then into a stall, according to police.

The student told police that Montano and Sanchez raped her multiple times, according to the court documents. She cried out in pain and repeatedly told the two students to stop, she told police.

Forensic investigators said an inspection of the boys’ bathroom later turned up suspected blood “that may be mixed with male fluid,” the court documents stated.

Sanchez and Montano were arrested at school, police said, and have been held since Thursday.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says they have a detainer on Sanchez, a citizen of Guatemala. The agency could not comment on Montano’s case since he is a minor."

From the Fauxhaus Blog:

Riley Steele. I'm sure the name might mean something to a few of you out there: it's OK -- your Secret is safe with me...

For those pretending to not know who she is, Riley is an authentically Hot Porn Star. Who doesn't do anal. Except.

She has now released several 'private' Home Videos of her getting pounded in the ass. Yes: she leaked them herself, so you don't have to feel guilty about any of that Invasion of Privacy moral dilemma shit...

A few observations...

1. What the Fuck is with the Guy fucking her and holding the camera? We get it: you're fucking Riley Steele in the ass. She has a nice ass. But would it hurt to show her face more than just a few fleeting moments? She has a pretty face: would it hurt to show some reminders of who the ass belongs to? The constant close-up camerawork renders the video practically anonymous. That said, the dude is SERIOUS about his anal sex...

2. Riley sure likes to dress up a lot. Before they have sex you see her in a cheerleader outfit. In another video she is wearing a Schoolgirl Skirt pushed up above her hips. The Chick's got Style...

3. That Room. In one shot she is kneeling before a bare mattress, and there is all kinds of junk and discarded debris on the floor. Like: everywhere. That ain't Glamour, that's Embarrassing. Some quotes from a Reddit Thread (with NSFW GIF, I'll let you find it on your own) on this:

"That floor is disgusting."

"Very sexy woman - but goddamn disgustingly dirty room."

"Nothing like getting fucked in a crack den I guess..."

"Hopefully they use the money she earned to hire a maid."

"Clean up your room! No way I'd get wet when I have popcorn kernels digging into my knees."

I think you get the idea.

(to be continued)

Laslo Spatula said...

4. Viral Marketing. When an Authentic Hot Chick shows up on the scene there is Great excitement. She is having sex! And she is Authentically Hot! Then the anticipation begins: "when is she going to do anal? Will her NEXT video finally be the one where she does anal?"

Then the realization sinks in: she is one of Those. 'Those' being the Authentically Hot porn stars who DON'T do anal. "Oh: she's too GOOD for anal." And then the audience goes off in search of the Next Hot Girl.

What is an Authentically Hot Girl supposed to do to stay popular? Break down and give them what they want? But they have invested so much Credibility into the "I don't do anal" and to change is to imply Surrender of Porn Integrity. But Riley: she figured it out.

She won't do anal in a 'real' porn video. But she WILL leak her own home videos of her having anal sex. The circle, squared. She is popular, again. AND it is even better: there is a sense of Intimacy now (despite the camera dude's close-up obsession). These were filmed with her, privately -- and she is now inviting you to Look. Well played, Riley: well played...

And now, back to Point Number 2: was she REALLY dressing up for just the two of them? Or did she know that she planned on leaking them, and dressed for THAT audience? Only she would know: cagey, that Girl...

But this comment isn't about anal sex porn. That is just the example of how Viral Marketing can be used to subvert a Persona, with the Persona's own permission. It is about The Brand: Give Them What They Want, but NOT by Playing The Game. It is practically a Shared Secret, and people like being in on Secrets...

I am sure major Advertising Firms are -- right now -- studying this Case History closely. Expect variations to appear with Mainstream Celebrities in Advertising: the 'Private' world of, say, LeBron James and Sprite. Maybe ketchup products. Ketchup has a lot in common with anal sex, but I'll leave that for another post...

Finally, back to Point Number Three: WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THAT ROOM? I don't know: maybe Scott Adams could explain the reasoning for her showing that....

Time for Poll:

What do you think about Riley Steele and Vital Marketing?

1. I have no idea who Riley Steele is.

2. Sure, I like Riley: I've masturbated to her on more than a few occasions. But I will only admit this anonymously. Of course.

3. Riley is only Exploiting herself. This is NOT Feminism.

4. Riley is Exploiting herself. I LIKE this kind of Feminism.

5. Riley has done anal sex? Really? Did you say Reddit?

6. What does Ketchup have to do with anal sex, anyway?

2. Laslo; I have no F*king idea what you are talking about, or why.

3. Petroglyphs took many months or years to carve, but if you look at the rhythm of a farmer's life, there are gaps between planting and harvest where there really isn't a helluva lot to do, and unlike their medieval peasant counterparts in Europe, they didn't have any beer.
Probably why they went extinct. Wouldn't you jump off the cliff under such circumstance?

There was an SF book I read once that dated everthing "LC" as in "Long Count". I don't know what system he used, but whether's it's BCE/CE or BC/AD it's just crazy to have the years run backwards.

*My* idea for LC dates is to start the origin far enough back that nobody but cosomologists would care, so 1,000,000,000 LC is 1 BC and 1,000,000,001 LC is 1 AD.

For normal use, we just drop the 1 and leading zeros, so 1975 AD is 1975 ALC (abbreviated Long Count) and for historical use, we just add enough leading 9s to show what we mean, so 100 BC, which is 999999901 LC would be written 99901 SLC

'[Steve] Bannon confronted members of the House Freedom Caucus earlier this week during the White House's push for the American Health Care Act, Axios's Mike Allen reported Saturday in his newsletter.

"Guys, look. This is not a discussion. This is not a debate. You have no choice but to vote for this bill," Bannon reportedly said.

A Freedom Caucus member reportedly replied: "You know, the last time someone ordered me to something, I was 18 years old. And it was my daddy. And I didn't listen to him, either.'

http://thehill.com/homenews/325767-report-bannon-told-conservatives-this-is-not-a-debate-you-have-to-vote-for-bill

I always thought Bannon (a former naval officer) was a lot smarter than a guy who believed he could successfully herd cats by playing Captain Queeg.

The answer to this disconnect probably can be found in this Bogart dialogue:

Renault: And what in heaven's name brought you to Casablanca?

Rick: My health. I came to Casablanca for the waters.

Renault: The waters? What waters? We're in the desert.

Rick: I was misinformed.

Tax policy will soon be dead in the water, too. While CBO is obligated to predict how people will change their behavior as a result of a change in health care policy they are prohibited from assuming anyone will change their behavior as a result of a change in tax policy. It's anti science, anti reality...Anyways, tax reformers needed the trillion dollars in savings CBO scored from healthcare to offset the CBO claimed loss in revenue from lowering rates. Now the deficit hawks in the GOP will balk at anything out of Ryan or Trump, and theres so many sacred cows in current tax policy there will be nowhere to go...

Unknown, if we reform year-numbering the way you suggest, we should also consider going to 1-based rather than 0-based numbering. Most people don't understand the concept of the year Zero, or that the first year of the new century was 2001, not 2000.

Also, let's stop with this "nth-century" crap. The "18th century" should mean the same as "the 1800s". The current usage makes sense mathematically, but linguistically, it's stupid.

Not antisemitic at all. Why should Jewish scholars (or any scholars who are not Christian) have to choke down "Year of Our Lord" a hundred times a day? Whose Lord? Which Lord would that be? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? Why, no.

It's how you all (as do I, as do I) feel now about being required to call somebody Xe, or how Winston Smith felt about being told that the chocolate ration had increased from thirty grammes to twenty. For us it's the forced acceptance of a lie. Solzhenitsyn, Havel, Kundera could explain far better than I.

Year of Your Lord, Year of My Excuse to Enjoy a Pogrom Every Easter.

Anyway, that's the other side of it. Sorry to supply intellectual ammunition to commies. Much as the inventor of the airplane and the inventor of the boxcutter must have felt on September 11th.

Because we're not actually commies or Khmer Rouge we didn't want to rock the boat, so CE and BCE seemed the least disruptive alternatives. Fine. Let it be H. Beam Piper's Atomic Era dating, Year Zero beginning with the inception of the first atomic pile in Chicago on Dec. 2, 1942 CE.

BTW his "CE" was "Christian Era," a coinage which Jews may have co-opted for Common Era, but did not invent. So on that basis I'm may not be entirely necessary for, as PBJ would say, "y'all" to get shirty about it.

The FIL is one tough old bird - an amazing combination of ruggedness and gentleness. He was a public school teacher for 30+ years, and still substitutes a lot, nearly 3 times/week.

He's the type of guy you'd want in a foxhole.

The funny thing is that he still votes Dem after all these years. He acknowledges that he lives a "conservative" life (married 6 decades, never did drugs, never cheated on wife, etc, etc).

I think as a young man he lost his connection to the Catholic Church (too much corruption, too much hypocricy), coupled with never really making it in the private sector (public school teacher), so he still clings to the myth (he says legend) of the Kennedy or Humphrey Democrats who exist no more.

I cut him slack though. To be that strong and to endure so much, and to still thrive with successful adult kids and grandkids, a nice home, a decent pension, and good health is really something.
