Have to admire the patience of critters that will allow you to boot them up.

The second two dogs have that Debbie Wasserman Shultz "just got out of the shower and my hair still looks kinda wet" look.

" The second two dogs have that Debbie Wasserman Shultz... " What have those dogs done to you to deserve such a churlish description this morning. Those dogs are far more honest, true, and compassionate than Debbie downer is capable of.

Off topic from dogs and shoes.

Scott Walker - “If I’m at a wedding reception here and somebody has a drink or two, most people wouldn’t say they’re wasted. Most folks with marijuana wouldn’t be sitting around a wedding reception smoking marijuana.”

There's probably more marijuana smoking at wedding receptions than he knows, he's just not been invited to join in.

I put those on my dog once and she hopped around like her paws were on fire.

Supercold snow freezes inside paws without the booties.

My first Doberman Susie would come to a stop in really cold snow, trying to raise all paws out of it at once.

I get into animated discussions with my spouse re: putting horses outside in cold weather. She wants to leave them in the barn as opposed putting them out in the pasture.

I ask: Where do wild horses stay when it's cold?

Response: Cold stare.

Don’t know how feasible this is, but The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald TN allow their elephants freedom of movement via barn flaps. Keeps the heat in and cold out.

That's our plan in the spring. Our fencing is not set up to do this yet. The horses have to be led to the pasture.

The horses arrived Thanksgiving weekend, just in time for winter. Ugh.

We were scrambling to get the barn ready (stalls etc..)
