The return of Guido, the Italian Sausage.

"The hot sausage reportedly was dropped off at TJ Ryan's bar in Cedarburg."
Two men - one wearing a hoodie pulled tight over his face - lugged the larger-than-life link into the bar just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, plopped him on a bar stool and warned staff, "You did not see anything," said bartender Jen Mohney.

...a witness saw the sausage walk out the south door about 7:45 p.m., Cedarburg police Detective Jeff Vahsholtz said. The Italian sausage walked into TJ's an hour later and also made an appearance around midnight at The Roadhouse Bar and Grill.

This is not Guido's first misadventure. In July 2003, the Pittsburgh Pirates' Randall Simon whacked the Italian sausage with a baseball bat as it ran by the Pirates' dugout during the daily sausage race, which is staged after the sixth inning of Brewers home games.

Sausage drama.

Oh, how I wish I were a professional headline-writer. That one is perfect!

PR is an art form. The Brewers are good at it.

After the Braves left Milwaukee, the best their PR Dept. came up with was borrowing the FSU Seminole tomahawk chop in support of Deion Sanders.

Come to think of it, Toma in tomahawk sounds very Italian.

The atoms of Milwaukee must have drifted down south.

ESPN's headline is pure gold:

"Brewer's missing link finally found"

Now Obama will be able to send that carrier to the Gulf.

Too bad they didn't drop Guido at the Olive Garden. Then they could've taken the cannoli.

Thank God. I'll be able to sleep a lot better now.

Putting aside the myriad of dirty sausage allusions in my mind clamoring for release :-S, one thing in the article caught my undivided attention:

"The theft of the $3,000 costume..."

That @#%$@!'ing thing cost three thousand dollars?? Oh my God, how does that end up costing that much?
