Haha, love it! Three lovely girls, much easier on the eyes than old grey skinned smoking dude.

That was well done. Imitating another is the sincerest form of flattery.

And they have their Halloween Costume ready for the weekend.

Who is John Huntsman?

Peter Hoh said...

I wasn't expecting any of them to take a drag on a cigarette, but I thought maybe they'd do something scandalous, like take a sip of coffee.

I wouldn't vote for Huntsman with a gun to my head (well, maybe), but that's pretty cute. Clearly all in good fun.

Not Guilty!

Young girls in the flower of yute
Are not guilty because they're cute,
Because they're cute, because they're cute,
And that's the that's the that's the troot.

So what!

Every Mormon is supporting the "Funny Underwear Man.

And, there's NO support in the Black ghettos for the "Pizza Guy."

Media hype doesn't work the way it once did. Train's left the Camelot station long ago.

While it's been known for a long time that politicians hire family members! Why should they give the money they collect "to race" to strangers?

While if you want to find Newt Gingrich, you'll find him shopping at Tiffany's.

Newt wants his wife to "sparkle" when she's meeting and greeting the republican elites ... at their small, little, community "tent."

Carol_Herman said...

For a country as wonderful and large as ours ... we sure do get quite a collection of weird candidates.

It's like "shopping" for a used car. (But you can't kick the tires.)

I just heard another puff piece on Huntsman a few days ago on NPR. His daughters aren't the only ones shamelessly promoting him. Not that it's going to get him over 2% in the polls.

KenK said...

Pretty sad when a presidential candidate is reduced to this kind of stuff. Unless it starts to work of course.

KenK said...

Hey Carol
Would you trash an Orthodox Jew who wears a yarmulke? Or a crucifix necklace? What kind of underwear Huntsman wears ain't none of your bidness. Period.

Cute. Pretty daughters. I like the bubbles at the end.

He still has a snowball's chance of being the candidate or even getting elected.

Another example of Jon Hunstman's legendary sense of humor. Looks like the apples didn't fall too far from the tree.

He's only got 3?

He's no Mormon.

Unless he has about 8 sons.

PS Huntsman needs all the help he can get.

It won't work, but he still needs it.

{Yawn}

Well much like his positions and rhetoric it seems now his political commercials are cheesy PC/slightly left-leaning rip-offs of someone else's original idea.

Wake me when Huntsman actually takes a position that might offend the Left in this country.....

Ah! Hahaha! HAHAHA!!! I love it! But being cute doesn't help electability. Remember how smoking hot John McCain's grandsons were? That was an opportunity for voter outreach for sure. But nothing came of it.

Pretty daughters though

This is not an add to get Huntsman elected.

It's an add that the wise ones, like Andrea Mitchell, Joe Scarborough, and John King can point to as an illustration as to how stupid Cain is, and how sophisticated Huntsman is-and how foolish "real" republicans are for not supporting his candidacy.

In short, two are 10s, the 3rd is just a smashing 9 on the beauty meter.
Seeing them reminded me of the hotties in the old Robert Palmer video "Addicted to Love"? - shown on VH1.

1. Unfortunately, the Republicans are supporting the OTHER funny underwear guy, not Huntsman. Romney, BTW, has a canned line when the subject comes up: He does not wear magic underwear, but will not disclose "boxers or briefs". But Mormons are not as monolithic Republican as the Dem black vote. They contain a large democrat and moderate faction - the Huntsman, Udalls, and Reid types.

2. It is a recurring fallacy by older white conservatives completly disconnected to the black community that running a black or putting blacks in charge of the RNC, State etc.. - will peel away black votes.
It doesn't.
Blacks will vote for a white or half black candidate over a black Republican by 80-90% or more every time. They will vote for a black or half black Dem primary candidate over a liberal white or hispanic by 90%.

It's an ad(d) that the wise ones, like Andrea Mitchell, Joe Scarborough, and John King can point to as an illustration as to how stupid Cain is:
=====================
I don't think anyone has say Cain is stupid. Ignorant on many issues, well informed on certain things, with an awful 9-9-9 Plan.

The more you dig, though, the less impressed you are with both Cain and the dumb righwingers that tout him. An example is Herman being touted as a business genius over a true business genius - Romney - because Hermans genius was on "Main Street, not Wall Street". (As a current dumb rightwinger slogan goes).

1. Cain is 15 years outside an executive position.
2. He is a motivational speaker now like Alan Keyes who joined the Presidential contest to sell his books, get higher appearance fees, and maybe a TV show. He struck gold because so many dummies in the conservative movement use their "gut instinct" a la Dubya, not their brains.
3. Herman was let go by the Godfathers fast food chain for performance not up to expectations.
4. A Jay Raskin op-ed notes the reluctance of reporters to check up on Cain's record matches in some ways the "pass" Obama was given.
"Why does no reporter confront Cain about his poor management of Godfather's Pizza. Why do they buy the myth that he created, that he turned the company around?

What journalist would ever want to stick his neck out and appear racist to the progressive jewish bosses in the MSM media, right?:

Cain has released no earnings statements either during the time he was at Godfather's Pizza or since.
If we look at sales figures which are in the public record, sales at Godfather's Pizza, adjusted for inflation dropped over 40% from the year before he took over to his final years. It is hard to imagine that profits went up at this time. Godfather's Pizza fell from the 5th largest Pizza chain in sales when Cain took over to the 11th largest Pizza chain by the time he left the company 15 years later.

Romney's people know all of this, of course. But Cain is out wrecking the chances of Perry, eating up Perry votes and donors every day. The longer Cain gets a free pass and more dumb conservative rubes, the better for Romney. If Perry's people know it, which is doubtful, they are too stupid to use it, as poor dullard Perry is still convinced he is the frontrunner despite polls and those pesky debates - and focuses on Romney - not the hemorrhage Cain and his credulous fanbase is inflicting on him.

Partridge said...

I think this evidences a dumb sense of humor but also a good point -- why do anything if you can't have a little fun doing it? Especially if you know you can't really win. Cain was right, we do need a little bit of a sense of humor in the White House...I just hope it would involve something better than fake mustaches and blowing bubbles.

Actually, I quite liked the blowing bubbles part. Perhaps they could start a new event where people come to the White House and blow bubbles on the front lawn? Bubbles could be a great symbol for America -- freely blowing in the wind, wherever they want to go...and then promptly popping as soon as they fall.

Perhaps I've taken the bubble analogy too far. But then again, we seem to be dealing with them a lot these days and we ought to be used to it.

Loved it. What I don't get is why both Cain and the Huntsman gals are creating ads for hipsters. They are not usually Republicans.

To some extent that's accurate C4--diss Cain's 999 hype and yr a de facto klansman (noted on AA.as well). Unfortunate... and.. BS. But a similar reaction seems to occur with those who criticize Romney. Ie, the Mittster's accepted by the MSM--and raking in a ton of shekels from the likes of GoldmanSachs. Criticize MR, and yr a ..nazi or something (of course Merica doesn't know shit about the real history of the LDS). The MSM has already decided who the serious candidates will be. (ie BO vs MR,most likely, perhaps Tex Perry)

Dem Black voters don't come here.

And, so far as I can tell, there's very little enthusiasm for any of the GOP candidates.

Was there enthusiasm for Sarah Palin? Yeah. Otherwise, you wouldn't know her name.

What's wrong with the GOP?

Well, they seem to have trouble fielding popular candidates. They certainly didn't with Dole. The Bush's were terrible! (And, now Karl Rove can't field Jeb Bush.)

While McCain was a pure disaster! He actually did worse than John Kerry!

Are Americans proud of our politicians? No.

Can Obama win in 2012? (Well, it's more like the GOP can lose.)

And, that's why the GOP leadership should NOT be "picking" the 8 who debate.

Those 8 have no traction.

What do people then do? They applaud the acts that are on the stage. For no reason at all.
