Interesting contrast in lighting: the harsh mercurial blue versus the warm tungsten glow.
Speaking of dead animal heads hanging on the wall, have I ever mentioned the Buckhorn Exchange? Dead wild animals all over the place. The whole building is completely stuffed with them, total overkill I tells ya. It is reputedly the oldest restaurant in Denver, and it looks like it from the outside. I mentioned to the owner, "Wouldn't it be weird for the cowboys who started the place to come back and see the high-speed rail station across the street?" (It's really normal speed rail, but we won't quibble.) He said, 'No. That is the spot of the original rail station from which cowboy types detrained. They'd come over here and cash their pay vouchers or whatever it was they were paid with. Thus the word "Exchange" in the name.
Cheese makes everything better.
