I don't see a bus.
She might not be Kate Moss, but I wouldn't call her a "bus"...
I just got back from a weekend in New Orleans, and I could swear I saw the exact same people walking down Bourbon St.
I kept waiting for the image to animate, with a bus appearing.
Will they or won't they get out of the way....
Ironic, isn't it, that if democracy is a big union bus, how come they don't want a secret ballot, and how come you can't not join?Sounds more to me like totalitarianism is a big union bus.
This! is what Democracy looks like. One big mess.
I think I see Barack Obama's grandmother under there.
Well one thing is for sure-Obama is driving it.Speed.
She's up in da grille.(oh gawd...)
LOL. I didn't mean to insult that woman... even though she was kinda bossing us to get off the square.
Was she really?I left A Clockwork Lime at the other link.Did she have a jock strap and a billy club...Wait...I don't want to know.
I bet there is room for a lot of people under that thing.
I don't see any windows, they're blacked out or covered over. Looks like a prisoner transport bus.
Yeah, a tax spending bus with 'speed' - once it goes below a certain point, the bus blows up.Which would explain the childish demonstrations.
I see Barack Obama's grandmother under there.I can see Barack Obama's Grandmother under that bus from my house. Why rip on one politician when you can rip on two?
The long haired dude/dudette with the backwards cap on a union bus that represents white collar office workers and professionals made me LOL.These folks are sooo confused.
Actually, MM you are mocking one politician and imitating one comedienne. No wonder Libs are so far behind the curve, they get their news from SNL.
Afterwards Biden should ask grandma toStand up!
I think I see Edwards chasing that bus...
The union bus is covered with a picture of people milling around doing nothing. Perfect.
In the "same as it ever was" category, Gateway Pundit has pics of new (to me, at least) pro-Union vandalism in Madison. http://gatewaypundit.rightnetwork.com
AFL-CIO? Then democracy looks like "kick the sh*t out of anyone who opposes the union".
Hmmm...Purple-shirted goons fit so well in most office environments, don't they?OT: It looks as if the Lefties are going to try to do a full Alinsky on Walker's supporters and give Walker the "Hey, Hey, LBJ" treatment.Wonder where the union cops will stand when the war starts?MadisonMan said...I see Barack Obama's grandmother under there.I can see Barack Obama's Grandmother under that bus from my house. Why rip on one politician when you can rip on two?Because a Lefty actress said something stupid Lefties attribute to a smart Conservative that kicks their asses every crack out of the box.OTOH, The Zero has obviously had to get a bigger bus.
OPEIUWhat social democracy smells like.
Oooh, a Rorschach test.Hmm, all I see is money laundering, kick-backs, and impoverished employees unable to get paid what they're worth.Someone saw Democracy in this picture? Weird.
First they came for your showers, then they came for your toilets...
Then they came for your detergent.Good thing the ligh tbulbs suck.
No wonder Libs are so far behind the curve, they get their news from SNL.MadisonMan lost all respect for Lyndon Johnson when he helped Patrick Swayze rob those banks.
Hey maybe they can get that dude from Chinatown who drove the bus to the Mohegan Sun and killed fourteen people when he sheared off the top of the bus.I think he is looking for a job.I bet he is in the union. They can help a guy out.
pro-Union vandalism in Madison. That picture's from suburban Milwaukee.
My mistake, more pro-Union vandalism in Wisconsin.
Hmmm... so the AFL-CIO's got the money to purchase, then customize a motorcoach for themselves.Good to know.
Oh, all right. It's possible that that's not a private motorcoach, but a public bus that's simply been painted over like that as paid advertisement. We see that happen for TV shows and movies all the time. If that's the case, then I withdraw my previous sentiment. But, I'd like to see that established or disproven. Was that a public bus, or a private motorcoach? That's the question in my mind.
I don't think that's a city bus. City buses in Madison at least have only 2 rear wheels, not 4.
Was that a public bus, or a private motorcoach? That's the question in my mind.Undoubtedly private. Public transportation vehicles will have windows and don't usually have large cargo bays. From my personal experience with some people in the entertainment and film industry who travel in these types of busses, they run in the 400K and up range. (Of course they are pretty tricked out on the inside. Who knows what is inside this one) Not to mention the cost of running one of these beasts up and down the highway at $4.00 plus a gallon diesel.Nice to know that the Union Bosses can travel in style and have plenty of money to recruit cannon fodder....I mean protesters.
Wonder where the union cops will stand when the war starts?More to the point, where will the National Guard and the Marines stand.
The Obama administration looks like a big union bus:--all out of proportion to everything around it--covered in colorful propaganda, just screaming: notice me!--privileging the public over the private--just sitting there on the sidelines--former friends and useful idiots thrown underneath.
This must be their first stop on the George Orwell Memorial Tour.wv - peeta: people eating every tasty animal
(The Crypto Jew)At least it’s not “If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face— forever.” The Union Boots have to have a 15 minute break every four hours, and a lunch……
BTW - That's one of those $1,000,000 plus motor home/tour buses like the rock bands use.
That's one of those $1,000,000 plus motor home/tour buses like the rock bands use.$7.5 M. That's what it costs.@Leo, I think it's in a turn lane, not just sitting there.
Well, I don't know about Democracy, but I pretty sure that's not what Grassroots look like. It's not very organic either.
"Democracy! Democracy!" the vulgar always shout,Clueless a free Republic is what it's all about
I think it's in a turn lane, not just sitting there.I stand corrected:--trying, but failing, to make a turn to the right.
Easy place to make much the more than mere 56 тысяча signatures.Slackers and wreckers!By this time in CCCP we have already one millions on petition, plus the tappings of phone.Wisconsin socialists are the black mark.Where are your омлет omelettes?
As soon as I heard the usual suspects crowing about pro-Walker "astroturfing", I knew the Dems were busing in out-of-state goons. It's the only way they know how to operate so they assume we operate the same way.
$7.5 M. That's what it costs.Wow. I'm out of touch. Need to get out more :-D
sure that's not what Grassroots look like. It's not very organic either.Ya-but have you seen the price of -Arugula!
That's not a bus, that's a mobile command vehicle for Pres---ent Obama's "civilian national security force."
Madison needs a Tea Party tagger to change that to "Thugocracy" I'd definitely do it if I was crazy enough to live in that frozen southern Canadian city.
...when Pushkin come to shove...Keep on macerating the language. Just keep it up and it's Kolyma for you, Comrade Pogo!
"OPEIU" pronunciation guide: Oh pee yoo!
That $7.5M was meant to be a joke. But nothing kills a joke like explaining it, so I'll stop.
Dust Bunny Queen said...Wonder where the union cops will stand when the war starts?More to the point, where will the National Guard and the Marines stand. You mean the Army and the Marine Corps. They will do their duty. What the WI ARNG, under the Governor's control, does, I think, is pretty much the same. The Guard has the same traditions as the Army and does what the CinC orders. Last time they didn't was 1861, and I don't think we're quite there yet.PS Don't know what the union % in the WI ARNG might be, but I doubt it's composed of the kind of Reds we've seen in Madison the last month
Thanks for my answer, Ann, by posting the pic. I am sure many more union buses are traveling the roads around Madtown.I see no comments from your liberal commenters, nor have they said anything about the Craigslist's paid solicitation for "protestors." $7.00 an hour, was it?
"Wisconsin Republicans use a loophole to vote without Democrats, and Sam Bee gets a taste of what it's like to live the teacher's dream."I thought satire was supposed to be funny.
Don't Tread 2012Oh crap-I don't get it.I'm off to the googles-Obama + "short ribs" ?
The long hairs of the hippy name Ken Kesey say "You're either on the bus or off the bus."Phhht to your Bus of Народовластие ...Democracy.Madison is need the Bus of Stalin!Eternal glory to the victors!Вечная слава к Викторам!
Office and Professional Employees International Union? Is Fonzie warming up his motorcycle somewhere?
Found it!Ha!Does anyone remember that story about her organic garden coming up all poisoned because the Clintons had earlier fertilized the area w/ sludge that had contaminates in it?Oy.
Welcome back comrade Pogo! I was afraid you had been sent to the Wisconsin Soviet Socialist Republic for re-education. Apparently they have built a new gulag in the former state capitol!
That looks a heck of a lot swankier than the Wellstone bus.Says something about the past 20 years of progressive politics, don't you think?
I'll tell ya, I'm REALLY getting to dislike that catchphrase. I could understand "This is what free speech looks like," although I suppose that doesn't convey quite the same sense of class struggle. "This is what a temper tantrum looks like" certainly is more descriptive, but one gets few points for honesty in the current political environment. But..., "This is what *democracy* looks like"? What wordsmith came up with that?
@madawaskan"Oy.""What a putz!" Monica exclaimed.
I see no comments from your liberal commenters, nor have they said anything about the Craigslist's paid solicitation for "protestors." $7.00 an hour, was it?If there is one thing in this world you know you can trust, it would be an anonymous Craiglist posting. Anyways I seen a swanky Tea Party Express at a TP rally last year in Madison. Which was odd because it looked like you could fit everyone at the rally inside it.
Oh gawd....I don't think you said a complete mouthful though.
That gal could kneel and talk at the same time.Speaking of pew...A Catholic girl would have had the knees for it.
@JohnJ"This is what *democracy* looks like"? What wordsmith came up with that?"Be very suspicious any time you hear a leftist (known or unknown) use the word 'democracy' in their endeavor. This is a socialist buzzword basically meaning 'mob rule'.
Gawd I'm out!I've embarrassed myself yet again.
Man of Bush!Друг! ...friend!In the backgrounds I wait and wait for just the moment to strike. Now is time to return. Wisconsin she is taking the Bolshevik by the horns.Soon is victory!
@madawaskan"That gal could kneel and talk at the same time.Speaking of pew...A Catholic girl would have had the knees for it."You're killing me ;-)
garage - no Tea Party Express ever trashed a place like you guys do.
"This is what marketing looks like"
@alexRight on. Tea Party prides itself on cleanliness, effortlessly noting its just 1 simple way to differentiate themselves from the union thugs.Once the Tea Party distributes its Dick Trumka trash bags at their rallies, we'll really be able to see how everybody gets in on 'taking out the trash'.
DT2012 - it's quite simple. the left are pigs in practice and in spirit.
I am amazed at the quality of the pictures you get from your little camera! As to the bus used as a billboard, it is a form of MONEY! It brings money in. And, it means the bus company gets revenue that is not coming from passenger fares. Or the taxpayers. I don't see a downside. That this costs union members money? HELLO! The ads come out of the dues. And, this is what their dues are buying. When they're not outright buying politicians.I see CAPITALISM at work! I also know we have a Republic. Not mob rule. Which would be a 'democracy.'And, I'll even venture a guess that there are some very unhappy union members who'd rather their cash went to support other stuff.
I thought the State Police in Madison, Wisconsin have been very professional!Plus, at first, I saw their were women on the force. (One "little babe" took her hat and jacket off!) But then the big and bulky men were brought in! And, yes. later on I saw the damage to the door hinge. When it took brute force to close those big doors. Where the crowds from the outside tried to pour in.If you think those scenes don't have momentum all their own, I'd beg to differ. But we have to wait for the elections in 2012 ... to see if there's gonna be impact. Or not.Yes. I can remember "The Armies In The Night" (Norman Mailer's first hand account), from 1968.Damaged the democraps, no end. And, brought Nixon in.
This is what Democrats look like: Bussed in protesters paid $7.50 per hour and hired through Craigslist. These fucking hacks are so rich they have outsourced their protesters and are paying slave wages to them to boot. You can't make this shit up.
You can't make this shit up.You make shit up every time you post.
Don't Tread 2012And if their knees go bad, Kerry's wife has the cure:Let Them Eat Gin Soaked Grapes!
@madawaskan"Don't Tread 2012And if their knees go bad, Kerry's wife has the cure:Let Them Eat Gin Soaked Grapes!""The Democratic machine in this country is putrid." - Teresa Heinz Kerry
Whoa...this ad just ran on simultaneously on CNN and Fox.
@bjmNo better method than to use their own words to shed light on their true agenda.Unions - "...special, privileged people that are 'more equal' than non-union types because they pay us a lot of money and vote for us..."So say democrats, every day.Pay your 'protection' money, get most-favored status.Unions. Because Al Capone isn't alive any more.
@crackNone of the videos on your page linked above work. FYI.
