My Man Mitch.
I like Mitch too, being a fellow Presbyterian and all. But we, first need to take up donations for him to buy elevator shoes and an outgoing personality. Then it should not take that much effort to fulfill our fantasies of a smart white guy earning the Presidency on ideas alone. And then we will live happily ever after.
Well we have a tall, charasmatic clean, storybook guy now and that's working out how?Right now I'd vote for Mini-Me if he could balance the frickin budget.
Kind of Rino-ey
I live in Indiana. He's OK. It's OK. He's trying to enshrine property tax rates in the constitution. I'm against that, but the sentiment is good. He's done some good things with outsourcing and creative revenue generation. I'm not wild about our welfare situation, but people expect something. And I'm not sure why making parents pay for the school bus when they live within walking distance of school was deemed unconstitutional...seems like a good way to have the buses be self-sustaining and have the education budget spent on eduction, but that is all far-too-specific for this discussion.
I'll only like Daniels if the Sullivanists hate him.
So Chris Christie and Haley Barbour are chopped liver? somehow I dont think so.While I embrace the rise of the blogosphere, it doesnt mean that bloggers know anything--of course that is in comparison to the punditocracy who couldnt find their asses with both hands in the dark--but that does set the bar low
Mitch Daniels certainly seems like the least threatening of the bunch. Is that bad or good? Is being polarizing more likely to get a candidate elected than being unremarkable?
I'll only like Daniels if the Sullivanists hate him.As far as Republicans go, I like him.
Since Chris Christie only showed up on the last set of responses, I think your interpretation could be, hmm, subject to interpretation. Why didn't Paul Ryan (much less Jack Ryan and Jack Bauer) show up on these lists? I'm a little dissappointed.
Gov. Palin is a polarizing figure, even on the RightIf you had to choose from this list, which of the following candidates would you be most likely to support for President in 2012?... #1 PalinNow, let's change direction: which of the following candidates would you be LEAST LIKELY to support for President in 2012?....#4 (out of 9) PalinSo I'm confused Professor, why didn't you say Chris Christie?
Althouse-Are you doing a balancing equation and canceling?I'm still looking at it.You probably have to consider the sample pool...Are they representative of the republican electorate particularly during a Presidential primary?[During Presidential primaries the Republican primary gets balanced out with an electorate that doesn't follow politics as "hyperly".]
Someone who is not afraid to defend our border with Mexico. Our police are being shot by cartel mercs. From inside our own border. Obama is allowing southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas to be controlled by the drug cartels. We need to relocate a few Marine Corp Air-Ground Stations (29 Palms) to that border.
John Thune...Dreamy, that smile! He's so trust worthy!Yes-dudes I'm doing a cheap imitation of all y'all.OK that's not fair but you all know who you all are.
I mean he's one of us, he's sooo "wholesome" or somethin'.
How do you protect your country from WMD attacks by proxy if your southern border is a no-go zone?
He's tall, he's tan he wins!
Did I mention that John Thune is hawwwwtttt!!!!
(The Crypto Jew)Where does Mitch Daniels appear? The winner seems to be Palin and the loser seems to be Huckabee..I really didn't see where Caniels figured in.
Cripes watch it be a battle between Palin and Christie.Christie won't make it past South Carolina-for two reasons.I don't know if you can win the primary w/o South Carolina anymore.
I'd take his brother, Jack, any day.
All this distracting talk about 2012 makes me even more excited to vote Republican out here in just a couple weeks. The pushback will be completed in 2012
Well Jack would even make Mitch look hot...
I like Pawlenty and Thune at this point. I would rather Palin serve in her current role of making the left and the media (but I repeat myself) look as stupid as they say she is. I think Christies in an interesting possibilty but he's still an unknown IMO.
I had to google Herman Cain. He got two votes?
Here's my current list:Dick Cheney John Bolton (alternate)VP:Liz CheneySarah Palin (alternate)Sec. of State:General Pete Pace (USMC, Ret.)General Patraeus (alternate)Sec. of War:Anyone who takes things personally
If it came down to Palin or Daniels, then I see this poll as favoring Palin. She already has 22 votes to his 13. Let's say that the 7 "Least likely to support" votes Palin got are all from people who did not vote for Daniels. This means that Daniels would pick-up 7 votes, bringing his total to 20. Still less than Palin's 22.
I had to google Herman Cain. He got two votes?Does Herman Cain have un hermano named Abel?
22 votes for Sarah Palin? Sounds about right.
Garage;I'll only like Daniels if the Sullivanists hate him.As far as Republicans go, I like him. When one looks in the dictionary for the phrase "Damned by faint phrase"Your post will be the definition(But to be fair it epitomizes the blogosphere.)
I thought this blog turned thumbs down on him because that elitist David Brooks thinks Daniels is the best candidate.
22 out of 72 total votes and in a field of 9 choices.
What the hell is it w/ Mitch Daniels? He must have some photos of the law prof during her lesbian experimentation days in Jersey. And, speaking of Jersey, why no love for Christie? Does the prof not like fat people? That weasel, Krugman, took a cheap shot @ Christie today.
Right-of-center (their term) does not always equate to Conservative. You have Libertarian, squishy-soft Moderate, etc.If Conservatives had a choice right now it would be Christie / Brewer.Fen said...Someone who is not afraid to defend our border with Mexico. Our police are being shot by cartel mercs. Otherwise, I agree.A good follow on would be reactivate the 8 Regular Army divisions inactivated by Willie for the Peace Dividend (translation: stimulus; translation: political payoff) and put them on the border, also - 1 in CA, 2 each in NM and AZ, 3 in TX.Defending the country from border marauders is a traditional mission of the Army and it's time to observe our military traditions.
(The Crypto Jew)I thought this blog turned thumbs down on him because that elitist David Brooks thinks Daniels is the best candidate. Well, I don’t see a whole lot of folks screaming, “yes, YES, Oh Mitch!” here do you? I didn’t even read the poll the same way Althouse did…Heck, I saw it as a vote for Palin, and kick to the groin for Huckabee. For others, Cain is the absolute Fave of my Life Partner. Cain is very impressive, in person, never heard his program, but Partner and I heard him speak once. He spoke well, was very impressive, human, funny….He is a kind of “Inside Baseball/Dark Horse” Candidate, I mean you have to be a Conservative to know of him. And that is going to be a drag, Palin and many others have name recognition already, or at least GREATER name recognition. So he has to work harder, I would think, to get his name out than others would…meaning more money for less bang, on the campaign trail.
"And, speaking of Jersey, why no love for Christie? Does the prof not like fat people?"She absolutely hates chubby people. There are post after post about it. She can't stand anybody fatter than Michaele Salahi!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe El Toro is south of San Diego, as opposed to Twentynine-Palms, which up around Palm Springs. Otherwise, I agree.El Toro was in OC and closed under BRAC.Maybe you're thinking of Miramar?
Look cheap shots are being taken at Christie from the right..Seriously the RINO charge is-he's soft on immigration, he isn't pro-life enough, [of course this comes from the same people that questioned McCain on that after a 20 year voting record] and he supported Mike Castle.[Did I mention Mark Levin is a freak?]Now hopefully in a Presidential primary Republicans that don't hand their brains over for five hours straight to radio *talent* come into the primary and vote a little more "roundly".
madawaskanI'm afraid the inmates have already taken over the asylum.
Herman Cain is an Atlanta radio talk jock...an African American Rush Limbaugh. He was a mover/owner in Godfather Pizza. He beat cancer 3 years ago. He is a sharp man and an acquaintance of mine. Herman would be a great VP for Palin. As for Mitch, you may know that I look at him only as a forerunner to Jeb Bush in 2016. He is connected to the Bush/Rove wing and will take a 2012 dive for them after he blocks Palin, if he can. You will find his position on immigration over our border with Mexico matches W's positions that want to win hispanic votes more than they want to enforce the border. Love Daniels all you want, but don't expect him to be an Indiana good guy after his Ivy League education calls to him from deep in the Bush/Rove lair.
America Needs Tough & Smart! Support Chris Christie & Marco Rubio.
madawaskan wrote:and he supported Mike Castle. So is Christie supporting Coons now or staying silent?
Defending the country from border marauders is a traditional mission of the Army and it's time to observe our military traditions.Well I don't know, maybe their too busy defending their dependents at funerals, plus some other *stuff*.btw-Thanks Hot Air, Glen Beck, and Hugh Hewitt for all the support on that..And to add to that they peddle the Westboro Baptist "1,000 feet" as absolute fact-because it suits their needs first. So they align themselves with those scum.
Listen I'm not the one that has a problem with Christie.Thing is he actually has to pull a state like New Jersey out of a tight spin.So his record is going to be used against him.Already is.
OK, so I take it our hostess likes my man Mitch. I guess because he's a middle-of-the-road squish, and she's a moderate; and he's from Indiana, and they have nice countryside and nice people there. That doesn't really square with her vote against McCain, a moderate, because she would prefer a Democrat with a D next to their name over a Democrat with an R next to their name, does it? Unless maybe she's driven through Arizona and someone cut her off in traffic. But that's fine, you like Mitch. How do you interpret this poll, where 8 of the 72 made him their first choice among all possibilities, which 19 picked Christie and 11 picked Palin, as being a victory for Daniels....that's delusional. For someone possessed of such a clear and logical mind, you're capable of a remarkable degree of self-deception, believing what you want to believe. Either that, or you're jerking our chains.Wait, we're not dogs, we're Althouse hillbillies. We don't have chains. You're tweaking our well-worn trucker's hats. You're jerking on our Dickie's jackets with t-shirt underneath.
madawaskan, do you have any actual policy problems with Thune? Or are you just offended by his height and complexion? You're right to worry about him, by the way. Right now, he's not well known. Once he's well-known, I think he'll win. Unlike my man Mitch, Thune hails from the Republican wing of the Republican Party.
At some 5'-5", shouldn't he be called "Midge" Daniels?
Trooper York,Thanks for the heads up on Altcasa not liking chubbies. I'm fairly new in these parts. They're one of the few groups not protected by campus speech codes.
Wait...You're jerking on our Dickie's jackets with t-shirt underneath.I think it's well established somewhere here that Althouse loathes flannel too.
Yes, Palin got more votes, but she's been so much more conspicuous and you could only pick one. That's why the numbers on Daniels are so impressive.
Pastafarian-Actually I don't know much about Thune but the fratricide crap is annoying, especially when it's done to advance unelectable candidates with no morals. But hey! They're the "Value Voters" so only they know what their values are at a given time.Lying isn't high on the list.Basically-let's see my brother is a known man-whore, and I still wouldn't let him speed date Christine O'Donnell for more than ten minutes. But she's Senator material to the Tea Party.[wow.]
Listen to me now and believe me later.GOP or Tea Party ticket will NOT MATTER.The victory for Obama/Biden is a sure thing. Read: It is already in the bag. The mystery is a foot.Save money. Save energy. Indeed, save yourselves.
but she's been so much more conspicuous and you could only pick one. That's why the numbers on Daniels are so impressive.Oh ho....I see .Hmmmmm.
And Christie is a conspicuous figure nationally? Really? And Mike Pence, who tied Daniels with 8 votes in the question with no limits on who could be chosen? Is Pence well-known nationally?Balderdash.A word I don't use often, but it really seems suitable here.
Ed;If Conservatives had a choice right now it would be Christie / Brewer.Uhh, you need to do some more research on Brewer. I mean, I'll vote for her this fall and I'm not a right-wing kinda guy. But Jan Brewer's fame due to SB 1070 fell in her lap. She was very quiet about it as it worked its way through the AZ House and Senate and has already suggested modifying it now that the courts have blocked key parts of it.Prior to SB 1070 (and the 13 second pause) she was known as the Arizona Governor trying to get a TAX INCREASE to address the budget crisis. That doesn't sound like your typical right-wing/conservative pol.And finally, if the key necessity of a VP candidate is to spruce up the ticket and have an energizing voice on the campaign trail, Jan Brewer is not that gal.
Wait dude-Your man Mitch was a Bushite!Yunes got some "splainin' to do.Plus the RINO charge on Daniels is that he with 40 other governors signed a request for yet another 450 billion stimulus package to go out to the states.Or whatever that's about.I've heard the RINO hunters in the weeds looking for Daniels rump roast too soFair warning! My advice take Christie for the block...
My goodness, AP, "the mystery is a foot"?What on Earth does that mean?I guess that now we know that the mystery (which mystery) is not a knee or an elbow. You said a couple weeks ago that you were waiting for a campaign to hire you. Did that ever happen?I was kind of thinking, given his recent tumble in the polls, that Harry Reid might have brought you on board.I hope he is paying you at least minimum wage. John Henry
madawaskan, maybe I'm slow-witted (as I've been told many times in these comments), but you're going to have to explain the "fratricide" comment. Also: I'm not sure what date-ability and senatorial qualifications have to do with one another. I wouldn't let my brother date Rob Portman, but I still hope he beats the idiot Lee Fischer here in Ohio.Yes, O'Donnell seems ditzy on that Bill Mahr show (the one that was cancelled when he called US soldiers "cowardly"). That was her job -- she was trying to bring comic relief to an unbearably unentertaining show, and probably helped the back-stabbing Mahr stay on the air for a few extra months. What are her policies, on actual legislation that might be voted upon? I'm not sure if the senate will be voting on any anti-masturbatory legislation, or any bans on dinosaurs.
Read the Nov. 2010 victory now:Reid father (Sen) and son (Gov) will be victorious.I am a consultant to Democrats everywhere. The House and Senate will be ours this Nov. Then in 2012, we will re-claim the White House. We win. We always win.
Wouldn't it be interesting if someone polled prominent liberal bloggers to see who, among the leading lights, they wanted for President in 2012? But leave Pres. Obama off the list. Sec. Clinton would (I assume) head the list. Who else would be on it? Biden? Schumer?
AP says:"I am a consultant to Democrats everywhere." In other words, no Demmie is paying you anything, taking your advice or even listening to you. Thanks for clearing that up. And we should take you seriously because why? John Henry
madawaskan -- I hope you're not asking me to defend Mitch. I'm calling him "my man Mitch" because that's all anyone within radio/tv range of Indiana heard for a year during his run for governor. He's not my man. My man is Thune. Because he's so tall and handsome.Mitch isn't the worst choice, and the hair on his left nut would make a better president than what we have now, but he's not my first choice for what might be the most critical presidential election in my lifetime. He's an extremely intelligent man, and he seems decent and probably doesn't have any significant skeletons in his closet. He'd be good on most economic issues. I'd be concerned about the Supreme Court nominations that he might make, though. And this is not the year to compromise on someone less conservative. This is the year to go hard to the right and offer a clear difference to the electorate."Bold, bright colors and not pastels", I think is how Reagan worded it.
(The Crypto Jew)Biden? BIDEN!!!??? Are you kidding me? Biden’s one saving grace is his comedic value. Be POTUS? He’s only the first vote of folks like Usama, Putin, and Achmadinejad, not even Kos would vote for “Biden.”
If Hilary becomes Prez in 2011, what will that mean for the 2012 race?Scenario:Hilary and Biden swap places in November or December 2010 while Obama still has the votes to confirm her.Obama resigns in early 2011.Hilary becomes Prez.John Henry
John, that scenario seems about as likely as both Obama and Biden being abducted by aliens and President Pelosi then taking over. But in your scenario, black voters would stay home, and if the economy is still in the shitter and teetering on the brink of outright Apocalypse, as it is now, then Hillary would be lucky to carry 4 states against any Republican.
(The Crypto Jew)Obama resigns in early 2011. Resigns?!?! Really and why would he resign? They will carry him out feet first, but he won’t resign, Michelle would Keeeeel him if he did. Now it’s possible that if Hillary is Veep in 2013 Obama might get a bad oyster or two and die, in office..and then there’d be the tragic firearms “accident” involving Michelle, and two 20mm Gatling guns…but otherwise Obama will be leaving office after he serves the usual 8-10 years in Office. I think he intends to tour all 57 states, in farewell.
I think John is onto something. I don't think Obama will resign, but I expect that he won't run for re-election.Obama cares about one thing more than anything else, himself. Much better to relax and enjoy his millions in lecture fees as a man who did not run than as a Carteresqe looser who will be lucky to get 100 electoral votes in 2012.
Joe, dbp, I agree that there's zero chance of Obama resigning -- that would be admitting failure, and that's not possible for someone with an ego like Obama. He could get caught snorting coke off the belly of a naked Russian spy, and he wouldn't resign. But dbp might be right about his choosing not to run. Being president is a lot of work, and it cuts into a fellow's golf game. He doesn't seem to be enjoying himself much, and with Obama, it does seem to be all about him.And I can't think of another reason for them to swap Hillary and Biden, other than padding her resume setting her up for a run in 2016. She'll be too old in 2020.But again, I don't see this as a winner for the Dems. African Americans vote something like 90% D, so that makes them about 20% of all Democrat voters. That move will alienate a large number of them, and the won't jump to the Rs, but if half of them stayed home, that would have been enough to make Obama lose in 2008 to McCain, for Christ's sake. By 2012, after this Democrat economic debacle, nominating Hillary would cause one of the biggest landslides in history.
Plus the RINO charge on Daniels is that he with 40 other governors signed a request for yet another 450 billion stimulus package to go out to the states.IIRC the proposal was a one-year payroll tax holiday for FICA offset (at least in part) by cancelling unspent funds from the “stimulus” bill and other appropriations bills, a hiring freeze on federal employees and allowing the President to block spending projects. If I supported stimulus policies, I’d probably favor a payroll tax holiday as its one of the quickest and most efficient ways to get money in hands of people directly (by letting them keep more of it – imagine that).
"BIDEN!!!??? Are you kidding me?"He IS vice president, you know. When people seriously consider who should run for pres, they drop the personal faves and pick someone who could actually win. VP's are usually automaticlly considered front-runners.And next is name recognition...which is why Palin's name keeps coming up and will cause real problems for the better R candidates.
I'd think they would be delighted to have anyone who can walk and chew gum and has an IQ over 40..just a hunch....but that's my guess. not sure exactly who qualifies.ya'betcha!
He IS vice president, you know. When people seriously consider who should run for pres, they drop the personal faves and pick someone who could actually win.Bumblefuck Biden was selected as insurance against an Obama impeachment. Although at this point I don't think Biden's incompetence could be any worse than DHOTUS.

Carol said that VPs are automatically considered front runners. That seems to be true but I have never understood why. In over 200 years we have had 2, count 'em 2 (Jefferson & Bush 1), sitting VPs win election to the presidency. Going back to 1900, we have had several VP's get the presidency and fail to be re-elected (Ford, LBJ)I just don't see why everyone thinks being VP is such a great resume enhancer in the quest for Prez.I think it only works if Obama resigns and Hlary is Prez running for re-election in 2012. As for the black vote, as someone else mentioned: Suppose Obama goes on the tube and in his resignation speech says something like: "I am resigning because I have found that America is just not ready for a Black president. Hilary will continue fighting for racial justice. At some time in the future white America may lose its bigotry and elect another black president. Yada, yada, yada..."Or, Obama might just decide not to come back to the US after his 12 day trip to Indonesia and points east. He leaves 2 days after the election. I thought I had read that he had moved it up to leave election night but I can't find that just now. John Henry
BTW, as further proof that my crackpot theory about Hilary replacing Biden in 2011:The WH has denied that she will replace him on the ticket in 2012. If she replaces him in 2010 or 2011, and Obama resigns, that would technically be true. She will already be on the ticket in 2012.John HenryIn the morning to everyone.

Most of the air ops at El Toro were moved to Miramar MCAS, northeast of San Diego, the rest to Twenty-nine Palms. Your best choice for strafing operations against cartel caravans would be El Centro NAF, home of the Blue Angels and also the location of a naval air-to-ground target range.
James Madidon was short, too--even shorter than Daniels, I think.wv: nerodumb - hmmm
"...the news that Daniels is short?" That's not news - he's been short for quite some time.
It don't matter who the nominee is. The fact that unemployment was 4.4% right before the Dems gained Congress and is 10% now is pretty damning evidence of the ineptitude of the entire Democratic Party.Just an ad showing a graph of unemployment rates from 11/06 onwards would be golden.
Yeah. Writing from where El Toro used to be. About half-way between LA and SD.
America's Politico is a joke, right? Sort of a right-wing version of Stephen Colbert by way of Baghdad Bob?"We always win"? Always > 2004?
Daniel's shortness can be a real asset. He will never be seen looking down on foreign leaders, and if he bows to them they wont even notice it. Short people also have a good center of gravity. That helps them when pivoting in Dancing With the Stars and also when playing a Hobbit in Lord of the Rings.

Your best choice for strafing operations against cartel caravans would be El Centro NAFSorry, I meant that the arizona border would be a great location for a Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, like 29 Palms.Set the LAV-25 firing range facing south. And continue training CAS missions till we get control of our border back. Right now its a no-go zone. Al Queda or Iranian procies will come that way with their portable WMDs.Of coruse, the height of irony is that, while Obama is using this to extort anmesty, its the blue cities like Chicago and New York that will be attacked.

The only thing south of San Diego is Mexico. The city limits are contiguous with the border. The county limits are contiguous with the border. San Ysidro and Imperial Beach are two cities closer to Mexico than San Diego.
From the comments:Daniels - unappealing. Can't get enough of the shallow female vote (the ones that vote for the "cute" candidates) to make a decent showing.Christie - would have to give up his governorship mid-term to run. He would be labeled a "quitter", with all that entails. But it would be fun to watch.Barbour - be serious. The mood of the country is for new faces and ideas. Barbour is a pure GOP apparatchik who hasn't had an original thought since 1954.Ryan - we've seen what happens when you elect young, inexperienced people to the job of President of the United States. Needs more seasoning.Palin - I'm sick to death of Sarah -- and I happen to agree with her on almost everything! At this point, I'm so sick of Palin I wouldn't follow her into my own house, let alone a voting booth. Sarah Palin is no longer a candidate, and become a brand name and corporation.Thune - you're joking, right? That's the Republican John Edwards; a nice haircut, and the perfect dipstick for measuring the depth of the surface. Hucakbee - I'd pluck my own eyes out before I voted for Huckabee. Anyone who might trip over his own feet in his indecent haste to be photographed at Bob Jones University definitely does not get my vote.Pawlenty - The republican John Kerry, sans the alcoholic wife and yellow spandex. He's just freakin' creepy.Pence - his only qualification, in Conservative circles, is that Ann Coulter once anointed him "A REAL Conservative"...and then his record came to light.Brewer - seems like a nice lady, but a one-trick pony. If she were SHOOTING illegal aliens instead of asking them for ID, I'd vote for her in a heartbeat.Since Newt (RINO), Romney (Mormons can't win in the Bible Belt) and Guiliani (pro-gun-control, pro-choice, doesn't want gays marched to the ovens) probably won't make it through a 2012 primary, I'm wondering who's left that might actually WIN come 2012.
Matthew -- You are a leftist Democrat. Who cares what you think about candidates you will not select and will not vote for? It's like me saying I don't want to fuck your girlfriend because she is a hag. So what?
Sorry, I meant that the arizona border would be a great location for a Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, like 29 Palms. Why not Fort Huachuca? Bring back the Cavalry. It has an airfield.
Immigration is such a weird deal. Illegal immigration obviously brings down wages and obviously contributes to unemployment even in a good economy and obviously drains government services. On the other hand, all immigration (legal or not) brings a steady supply of hardworking people dedicated to a better life and infuses our culture with dynamism and energy. The obvious solution that everyone should be able to agree on is a wall between the United States and Mexico -- a pretty wall, like the Great Wall of China. Once that's there, the question is simply how many legal immigrants do we want to have.I don't understand why a wall is considered in polite company to be such a crazy idea.
The way I read this poll, the correct answer is: Mitch Daniels! Then you don't know how to read, Ann. It's a shame that someone as intelligent as you would push democrat Mitch Daniels as if he's some sort of conservative (when everbody knows he's a closet Democrat).Mitch Daniels tied for third in this poll. Please tell us how you read this as him winning.Poll Question: If you had to choose today, which of the following candidates would you be most likely to support for President in 2012?1) Chris Christie (26.4%)2) Sarah Palin (15.3%)3) Mike Pence (11.1%)4) Mitch Daniels (11.1%)Exactly how did Mitch Daniels win this straw poll, Ann?But the more important question is why would you attempt to misrepresent the results of this poll to your readership, Ann?Oh yea ... I'm reminded that you supported and voted for Barack Obama. Hmmmmmmm.http://rightwingnews.com/2010/10/conservative-blogger-poll-the-2012-gop-primaries-fall-2010-edition/
@Seven Machos:Hey! That's no way to talk about your mother, Douchebag!I'm a republican. The difference between me and the panty-bunched conservative crowd is that I want someone to run who a)can WIN, b) is competent, and c) looks to fixing/running what the government is suppopsed to be fixing/running -- and then minds his/her own fucking business after that.See, I want a leader who is a merely a capable administrator ...you want Jesus. That's why "Conservatives" are continually disappointed when the "Conservative Flavor of the Week" turns out to be a mere mortal, and usually dumber than dogshit.
