"MORE VIOLENT RHETORIC: GOP takeover of Congress would mean 'hand-to-hand combat,' Obama warns."

Oh, no! This must be so upsetting to poor old bicycling-with-the-earbuds-in Richard Cohen.

"I want you to argue with them and get in their face"

Remember, one of the people the POTUS ordered to "get in their faces" BIT someone's finger off. He's never been turned in.

Fascism is not hard to see if we open our eyes wide. In fascism the favored Corporations do the will of the Nietzsche style tyrant, or else hand to hand violence is used on opponents to the tyrant. Anyway, the super rich guys making more than $200,00 will never miss the money. Or do we lower that and lower that as all of the unemployed serfs starve to fulfill Green Horror Myths that mandate their early deaths?

Obama has been advocating hand-to-hand combat ever since he took office.

Remember "punch back twice as hard"?

What's his problem with it now?

Check out Breitbart.Tv.
Just today a kid was beaten by Obama supporters for heckling during Obama's speech.
As usual, the violence is confined to the Liberals.

Desperation. Pure unadulterated desperation. Obama is a failure, he has financed failure, and he wants to continue financing failure. That is the DemocRat way.

Uncle Saul would be so proud, but The Zero should be careful for that which he wishes.

I, for one, would love to see Michele Bachmann take out Fortney Stark in a Sumner-Brooks grudge match.

Better yet, Col Allen West against the Demo caucus of Ways and Means or Banking.

I will not tolerate this hatred towards the duly elected President. We will be here till after Nov. 2012 election (till Jan. 2017). Okay? How do you like your apples? GREEN?

No comments on polls - my clients do not want to share. They know they will win, and are trying to avoid sharing the details with the big bad GOP.

"Hand-to-Hand"

More like a sissy slap-fight, the way Pres. Obambi whines and points the finger at his predecessor.

He's plenty tough (easy, when the media provides the air cover) deputizing his minions to rifle through Joe Wurzelbacher's tax records or dissing Arizona at the UN. Let's see how tough he is picking on someone his own size,
like, say, Speaker Boehner.

Here are my posts about Glenn Reynolds (who Althouse is linking to). In addition to many, many, many other stupid things, Reynolds has encouraged people to hold up bunny ears behind politicians' heads and has implied other forms of violence against politicians in general (such as tar and feathering).

The prospect of paying a few hundred dollars extra on his taxes (if that) seems to have sent him into an apoplectic, insaner-than-tea party whirlwind of gross stupidity.

Note: because Reynolds is a teapartier fave, expect some of the brainless teapartiers who infest this site to lie and smear. That's all they know how to do: making an argument is too much for them, both intellectually and emotionally.

Point out to them that I got no help from Reynolds et al about the open letter describing how to block Obama in a highly effective way I sent them. Once again, I got absolutely no help with that.

Don't follow charlatans like Glenn Reynolds.

The president said, "Everybody in the barbershops, the beauty shops, and at work -- everybody's got to understand: This is a huge election."

Why has the president been mentioning "the barbershops" and "the beauty shops" so frequently? He must have seen the 2002 film "Barbershop" and the 2005 "Beauty Shop" and gathered that that's where African Americans talk about politics. Not having grown up in the black community he wouldn't know that, of course, but he (or his speech writer) has learned to pick up these little nuggets so his constituents will think he's one of them.

Seems a tad heavy-handed to me, but who knows? Maybe it works.

He (Obama) was referring to these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organization_of_the_Islamic_Conference 57 states of course!

You did tolerate the hate against the last duly elected president- twice duly elected- didn't you?

Oh, the stench and reek of hypocrisy. Hate is a family value in the DemocRat Party.

Obama sees the majority of Americans as the enemy--people to be suppressed and defeated--because they do not support the rise of a social democratic political and economic system.

I don't think we have ever had a President who was so opposed to the citizenry itself or to democracy in the form of the popular will.

Peter V. Bella said...

Why has the president been mentioning "the barbershops" and "the beauty shops" so frequently?

Those are the only viable Black owned- anyone owned- businesses left in African American communities.

Actually, he said, "We've been to 57 states, have one more to go, and they won't let me go to Alaska and Hawaii", so it's 60.

He must think Dan Morgan, Richard Montgomery, and Benedict Arnold took Canada in 1775.

The same way he thinks the Viennese speak Austrian.

If you just keep chanting "Yes We Can!" to yourself, eventually it will all make sense. Or you won't care anymore. Same thing.

If we do not, if we are depressed and decide, well, you know, Barack's not running right now, so I'm just going to stay home, then I'm going to have my hands full up here on Capitol Hill."

Did you notice how it's still all about him -- poor guy might have his hands full. Obama just doesn't want to do the hand to hand himself -- I doubt he minds the SEIU doing the messy work for him.

I'm trying to picture President Wuss in "hand-to-hand" combat. Nope. Can't picture it.

And wasn't the the one that said to "get into their faces" and "punch back twice as hard"?

Personally, I'm betting Sarah Palin would kick his ass in a fair fight.

And I guess I misunderstood him about the barber shops and beauty shops. I thought he said "huge erection." Ah, well.

Hand-to-hand? Well, I suppose that would be scary for someone who likes to snipe from the oval office.

In all seriousness, he's going to have to grow as a politician if he wants anything to happen on his watch after November. He can't sit back and let Democrats in Congress lead (and take the fall) while he complains about how mean Republicans are.

I would gladly accept Barack Obama's challenge should he or anyone of his fucking goon squad decide he wants to punch me twice as hard. Except Obama's too much of a fucking mama's boy pussy to actually engage in hand-to-hand. His dainty fingernails might get scuffed up.

Michelle ... on the other hand. Now there's a fighter.

Hand-to-hand combat? Snort. Ha. LOL.

The only hand-to-hand combat BHO's been in is pushing and shoving to get the arugula out of the bin at Whole Foods.

I'd wager on Sean Bielat to take Obama in about six seconds flat.

The last thing libs want is hand to hand combat. At least they have a chance at the ballot box.

Getting a beat down on Capitol hill after getting beat at the ballot box would be therapeutic for everyone.
