"The movie ends with a poisonous jellyfish in an icy bathtub. Don’t ask."

Line in a Maureen Dowd column about the dangers of driving while telephoning that sent me straight to The Movie Spoiler because, in fact, I wanted to ask...

... oh... okay... wow...

Did anyone go to that movie?

Yes, it's another Will Smith movie...called Seven Pound. It wasn't really that great.

Nope. But thanks for asking!

The Movie Spoiler has saved my wife and I soooo much money - Should we waste our time seeing something wierd or go for it?

Of course, if we really want to see something regardless of the reviews - she's a Sandra Bullock fan, I like Ryan Reynolds - then it doesn't matter about the reviews. So, we both enjoyed the Proposal, a basically poorly reviewed film.

I should say that

I have been having problems with my compoooter sending stuff early so this might come in several comments instead of one.

Sorry: Did about 175 million.

As with all true liberals like Jeremy, it's all about the Benjamins.

That was *choke* a very interesting *sniff * and touching *wipes tear* spoiler page. So thorough that *blows nose* I won't have to *sniff* watch the movie. Almost like *wipes other tear* an O. Henry paradox *sniff* short story 'cept better.

An evil movie

An evil movie--promoting suicide over grieving because his death was profitable to others.

I'll watch it only if there are nekkid chicks in it.

Preferably nekkid chicks in their ungroomed state.

Didn't see it. The thing about Will Smith is that he really can carry a picture.

The result seems to be they give him pictures that he has to carry.

Does the jellyfish wake up missing a kidney?

Last Kiss.

We were out on a date in my daddy's car,
we hadn't driven very far.
There in the road, straight ahead,
a car was stalled, the engine was dead.
I couldn't stop, so I swerved to the right.
I'll never forget, the sound that night--
the screamin tires, the bustin glass,
the painful scream that I-- heard last.

Oh where, oh where can my baby be?
The Lord took her away from me.
She's gone to heaven, so I've got to be good,
So I can see my baby when I leave this world.

When I woke up, the rain was pourin down.
There were people standin all around.
Somethin warm flowin through my eyes,
but somehow I found my baby that night.
I lifted her head, she looked at me and said,
"Hold me darlin just a little while."
I held her close, I kissed her--our last kiss.
I'd found the love that I knew I had missed.
Well now she's gone, even though I hold her tight.

I lost my love, my life-- that night.

Dale - shouldn't it be your wife likes Ryan Reynolds and you like Sandra Bullock?! Not that there's anything wrong with that!

Rented it when it came out on DVD. Love Will Smith. Felt sad that the character was so guilt ridden.
