That's as bleak as a Springsteen album. I hope you were with good company.
Yes, scenary-wise, 39 heading south, bleh, but probably being overlooked.
Say "Hi" to Meade for me.
Those power lines come as a welcome challenge to the accomplished highway parasailer.
olive aqua seafoamright, ann?
I saw a tornado about 3 miles southwest of the 116 exit once. There were a bunch of cars parked under the bridge that you can see in the picture, I guess to avoid the heavy rain, but had the tornado moved through there, the drivers would have been dead.
Some driving music for your trip.
'Twixt dusty earth and lowering skyDown the road the semis fly.
Drove that road way too many times.
wrong wrong wrong. The women isn't supposed to traverse land and sea to be with her intended. The man is the one who puts himself out, and travels the globe just to be with his lady. The lady is the one who's supposed to lure the man to her. This relationship is bad news from the get-go, but the one good thing is that we can look back to these blogposts to see the early clues as to where it went wrong, which it surely will, down the road---no pun.Love,
Somewhere inside of meThere was something shetook a liking toAnd I asked her to marry meShe said she really wanted toDown the roadTo see what life's gonna holdDown the road
This may be because ann is so into gender and sex postings on her blog that i immediately assign them to her photography.but she obviously is on the magenta theme still… projection, please, from the orchid. Her facial quality and then the blond around it.Now if I wasn't so Indiana centric and so psychic where my frame of mind can only draw from what i see and read in words about what AA is so intent to have on her blog, I would prescribe qualities of French Lick and Pay 0 Lee, and West Baden springs IN but that is only what is in ann's naughty part of her mind that speaks in her visual metaphors. And the route number is too off.that's the problem with the newage zealots . I have had two at school try to read me and one follow me around the pool. (not that i ever asked for it, but some of these psychics just do it, they aren't all holding back like samantha stevens)
That's a beautiful electric power distribution substation in the second photo. We need more of them.
Nothing says I-39 more than Wenona, IL.
NO NO NO!!THIS is the ultimate driving song...
Ohio power lines are prettier.
DBQ - that is a great driving song!In the current circumstances, however, perhaps these are more fitting. The Ann driving song. The Meade driving song.
Michael--Ann's driving song is a job opportunity in NC?I couldn't find a youtube for it, so I had to blip (and tweet) my song reccomendation.
Also, am I the only one who finds the big, cloudy sky beautiful?
Ohio power lines are prettier.See?I pedalled a couple miles down the road to get this smallish transmission line. The big ones are magnificent towers.Accompanied by faithful dog.
Old 51, renamed IL 251 when they built the Interstate east of town, has a lot more character.I pulled into the Truck Stop in El Paso in 1980, kinda freaked when I found it crawling with Secret Service agents, but had to tough it out, knowing there'd not be any more gas on the route for 20 odd miles. Turns out candidate Ronald Reagan was appearing the next day.
