"Turns out you don't have to 'go on down to South Park'..."

"I jumped on a plane on Friday to volunteer for the Barack Obama campaign," Mr Smith explained in a strong, if rather slurred, Brummie accent. "As an ill-advised promise, I've decided to say to my paper back home that I'd write about the American election."

I love the fact that foreign nationals seem to have played a large financial and operational part in the election of Barack Obama.

Anyway, if you want to know what most "journalists" are actually like, take a look at this guy. Ironic that someone with the name "Adam Smith" came to America to help elect the President that may come be the dismantler of capitalism in America.

He should be able to get a great job here in America. He is a hyper partisan and a plagiarist. How could he be any more qualified? They might as well give him the Pulitzer right now.

The only thing worse than a journalist is a lawyer.

My favorite part of the video, hands down (starts at about 1:37):

Q: So what do you think about the election Tuesday, about Obama?
A: I think it's brilliant, because...
[five second hazy drunken pause]
A: ...I've met so many women over here and it's brilliant. I am a hard news journalist...

In vino veritas.

That was probably technically true at the moment, what with the women, the booze and the Messiah come again. Err.. never mind.

I see a career as a motivational speaker.

Now, you kids are probably saying to yourself, "I want to grow up to be a journalist and make the world a better place."

Well, I'm here to tell you that you're probably gonna find out, as you go out there, that you're not gonna amount to Jack Squat!

You're gonna end up eating a steady diet of government cheese, and living in a van down by the river!

I would have rather had the journalist GOP official in office than a bunch of left-wing illuminati lawyers.
