Ann, is the second photo of the Indian Paint Pot area? So different seeing it without a good deal of snow surrounding it.

Yellowstone is so magnificent, no matter what season. I loved it in the winter (first week of January), would love to see it in the fall as well.

I just got back from there myself... A beautiful place. Did you notice how well it has recovered from the massive 1988 fire?

Did you use photoshop to make it more dramatic?

Wonderful photos, Ann(sel).

Don't areas recove from fires within a year? It's been 18 years since Reagan ruled the Earth...

Bleak? Hardly! Stern, austere--the very image of the Old West. I'm glad you got to go out there. But how did you miss all the tourists?

Right on, truly. That tree is walking back uphill.

Cool. I want to go back out there, ride the Harley to that part of the country. Where are the bears? I was there way back when I was around 3 years old and the bears and old faithful are all I can remember.

Your photos are wonderful! Most of it is your great eye, of course, but the color and clarity are great as well. What kind of camera do you use?
