I am happy that this issue is before an electorate, where it should be. I don't think Wisconsin or any state where the issue is put before the electorate will have gay marriage. However, I think that what amounts to common-law gay marriage will end up proliferating, and that is the best outcome.
Ingrid (against the amendment) and the rest at "No on the Amendment" have been careful to dialogue rather than demogogue. Owen (for) has been the same. The first posts were very respectful and I'm looking forward to the rest of the debate.
