"The Return of Chef!"

That's the title of the new "South Park" episode, which will air on Wednesday. But Isaac Hayes, the voice of Chef, has quit the show. So what do you think they'll do?
The network statement announcing Chef's return for the "South Park" season premiere this Wednesday was a clear sign that Parker and Stone planned to use the Hayes imbroglio as further grist for their comedy.

"Knowing these guys as I do, I can't imagine that they're not going to do just that," Comedy Central spokesman Tony Fox told Reuters. He added that the producers routinely "turn around" new episodes in just six days, leaving them ample time to incorporate last week's dust-up into their season debut.

Fox said he assumed someone besides Hayes would supply Chef's voice. Details of the new episode were vague.

But a network synopsis said the fictional town of South Park, Colorado, is "jolted out of a case of the doldrums when Chef suddenly reappears," leading to new antics by the group of foul-mouthed fourth graders who are the show's stars.

"While Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman are thrilled to have their old friend back, they notice that something about Chef seems different. When Chef's strange behavior starts getting him in trouble, the boys pull out all the stops to save him."
We'll all be watching!

Maybe Chef's voice has changed due to his emasculation by an iron-fisted science fiction cult.

This is great. I haven't really cared about South Park for years but suddenly I find myself making a point to watch now that some life has been breathed back into it by Scientology!

Whatever the episode is, it's almost certain there'll be a scene where Chef is jumping up and down on a sofa.

Or maybe he'll be having a "quiet birth"?

Cheers,
Victoria

I don't know about you, Rick, but the buzz on this episode out there, is tremendous.

Almost every acquaintance I have spoken to about South Park, says they'll be watching on Wednesday.

As will I! I can't wait to hear the Althousians take on it.

Cheers,
Victoria

Maybe Chef's body has been taken over by aliens! Or maybe even by Zeno himself! Or maybe he'll be accompanied everywhere by a minder who has his hand up Chef's ass and speaks for him like a ventriloquist.

If HE didn't quit the show, then who quit it for him?

Doesn't anyone else see the shadowy hands of Arianna Huffington at work?

If she can manufacture blogposts for Clooney, why not angry statements from Isaac Hayes?

If his health is still bad, I wish Mr. Hayes a speedy and full recovery, if not, I wish him a full and speedy recovery from the bad case of brain farts he seems to be suffering from (if the statements in his name are to be believed).
