Ah yes, coming out against beer in Wisconsin. The political instincts of the modern Democrat party. "What's the least popular position we can take? And then blame racism for people not voting for us!"
Seriously, it's not even a good reason. Like, say, "I oppose drinking because drunken people and the fact it's unhealthy." That's at least defensible. Nope, it's "Don't drink beer because you are white and drinking beer is racist!"
Does that mean any time we see a black person drinking mead (no relation to our hostess!) that's racist too?

Like, Sonny Hostin is bragging about how she was the lone vote to get a literal cannibal murderer off a decade or so ago. That's a good reason to get divorced, but a man has to stick by his wife even when she's murdering his kids!

Our Better Angels are standing by with their 'Racial Equity Budget Tool', to get us through this difficult period of adjustment. I previously thought this was known as flash mobs hitting up the higher-priced luxury goods stores, ripping stuff off the hangers and shelves and dashing out the door - but apparently I was misinformed. That is NOT the Racial Equity Budget Tool in action, it's a completely different kind of equity.
Systemic racism is a Marxist concept. Look for Crowley to come out as a member of DSA.

We need affirmative action at the beer garden door. Deny white people entrance when the number already admitted exceeds quotas. That will force a group of 9 white people to go recruit a black person if they want a drink. Or, if we're not counting Hispanics as white, I guess that number could be reduced to 5 or 6. Clearly, we need the courts to give us a number.

There will always be a debate about how race and wealth interact, but they are still two different variables. (And the relationship is very complicated.)
