I have loved Betsey since I was a little kid. I left our visit even more in awe of her energy, wisdom, and creative spirit. I like her. What I'm seeing here at Althouse today is refreshing. Creative, off-beat people who probably lean left politically, but who can share human experiences and a laugh in a way that transcends ideology, which burdens and makes insufferable so many other creative types these days.
When you have dementia, every day is "brand new."
She's absolutely right. All that matters is feeling good and having "great energy". Everyone gets old and that cant be stopped.
I hope that I am as energetic and lively at her age.
