I don't think Biden's smile is manipulated, but I do think it's a confusion response from an elderly man with cognitive issues.
There is a disturbing post on Powerline this morning.
The latest Harris overnight poll since Trump's trial ended has Trump and Biden essentially in a dead heat. But look at how independent voters, in particular, view the New York prosecution.
By 52%/48%, independents thought the trial was “fair and unbiased” vs. “politically motivated.” By 60%/40%, independent voters think Trump was “mostly guilty” of the crimes with which he was charged, as opposed to “largely not guilty.” Independents think Trump’s trial was fair by 60%/40%, the jury was fair by 62%/38%, and the judge was fair by 61%/39%.
When it comes to sentencing, 42% of independents say Trump should so to prison, and 51% say he should get either prison or home confinement.
Trump and Republicans have lots of work still to do in order to get support from independents.
The guy doing the Trump impersonation is really good! I will have to look at some more of his work.
The polls on whether or not voters will be more likely/less likely to vote for Trump all have the exact same error- they can't really determine what the voter responding "More likely/less likely" was going to do in the first place. Partisans will trip over their own feet to answer either way even if the conviction hasn't actually changed their minds. It is likely the only people in the poll telling you the real truth are the ones who say it doesn't matter.

I found the poll reported on Powerline to be quite worrying. Never underestimate the stupidity and ignorance of the undecided voters. This "convicted felon" bullshit could be more effective than it first seems.

If someone is trying to tell you Trump is losing independents while tying Biden in the polls, you're talking to someone absolutely clueless.
But then, the LLRs need to swing ahead of the Rats.
Noting Trumps potential weaknesses does not make a person a Biden supporter. Between ignorant low information voters and dishonest poll workers, I think it will be a miracle if he manages to win.
Of course all of this weakens Trump. That's the point of the corrupt left.

I am not on Tik Tok, but I can't help but wonder if Trump is getting more attention on that platform at this moment than the death of Cala, the "I Go Meow" cat. Cala's fame started on Tik Tok but she was on all the socials - my IG feed is blowing up with the news of Cala's death and new accounts devoted to her.

My home state of Iowa now bans all governmental agencies from using TikTok because of the information mining on the platform by the Chinese Communist Party:

There is no indication that becoming a convicted felon will help his election chances.
