Tim's Traveling Sawmill arrived yesterday at our home site to turn the cedar logs into cedar lumber. He's probably going to be here about 8 days. His wife also came to deliver the excavator, along with their dog Dixie. I acted as labor, moving the boards off of the sawmill into the drying stacks and trimming some branch knobs off of the logs.

The sawmill is a horizontal bandsaw that moves down the log before elevating for its return trip to the starting position. It's computer controlled and can make exact dimensional lumber with minimal waste. It's amazing how much sawdust it creates.

I took Tim over to a favorite restaurant in Snoqualmie, the Snoqualmie Falls Brewery. Monday was a fine, sunny day, perfect for eating at one of the outdoor tables.

Antifa and BLM stormed the Capitol Grounds and the Capitol Building on 1/6. This is their M/O: breakdown the doors and windows and the crowd will rush in to loot and burn while antifa and BLM fade back into the street. It didn't work out that way for them. The crowd strolled in and played tourist, taking pictures, high-fiving the Capitol Police and having a good time. Then they calmly left, especially when asked to go.

The FBI and DOJ are throwing the kitchen sink at everyone because the crowd did nothing to speak of. A few "souvenirs" removed, but no fires and no widespread looting. Nancy Pelosi is crying in her chardonnay that she didn't get the photo-op that she desired. All she has now is the kangaroo court 1/6 hearings, which no one is paying attention to, except the Democrat diehards.

Hubby was reading today that the price of LP gas will go sky high this winter.
He also read that more LP has been exported this year than ever...to Japan, China and South Korea.
WTH.
