"There are no rules about how to deal with the hair of people in prisons – it’s very difficult to supervise or place restrictions from above on how to deal with hair that has been forcibly removed."

"As a result, this has also created an environment in which [officials] are not going to turn down the economic benefits of hair that has been shaved off of people in government camps," said Chinese human rights lawyer and activist Teng Biao, quoted in "U.S. Border Control Seizes 13 Tons Of Hair Weaves Suspected To Be From Chinese Internment Camps" (Refinery29).
But the Chinese Ministry of Affairs denies the use of any forced labor or detention of ethnic minority groups. “We hope that certain people in the United States can take off their tinted glasses, correctly understand and objectively and rationally view normal economic and trade cooperation between Chinese and American enterprises,” reads a statement released by the ministry.

Ew that's gross.

I wonder if their forced aborted babies are ground up in the dog treats. You know, over here, where we correctly and rationally view normal economic and trade cooperation between the abortion industry and American society.

No tinted grasses 'round here!

Can you DNA profile hair?

Char Char Binks, Esq. म्हणाले...

We need our weave.

Also, weave from India may be finer, but hair taken from Chinese prisoners and slaves is cheaper.

So the Chinese can't control people they threw in internment camps to control, but they are able to obtain the by products of that lack of control. As the Church Lady would say "How convenient!"

They need to talk with the Google, Planned Parenthood, Apple, Facebook, Amazon. Organizations that are "woke". I'm sure they will be happy to buy any spare parts the Chi-Coms may have around, and even help with technologies for harvesting.

Too bad there's no such thing as genes or they'd be able to figure out who the hair came from. Oh, well.

Well, that's creepy.

But it does go right along with the very practical decision on the party of some Planned Parenthood clinics not to "waste" the "surplus" "tissue," but rather to sell it and realize its full economic benefit.

My Opa and Oma owned and operated, for over 40 years, the beauty salon in the hotel where the Mississippi Delta begins. They made good money making wigs and falls for the plantation ladies from all around, and Opa had his own line of haircare products for the discerning patron.

They (after 1959, just Oma) got regular shipments of hair from Germany. Supposedly it was from girls entering convents, but that might just be p.r. I do know that we traveled to NYC once and later to Germany, and both times Oma had to work with specialty importers and exporters of hair and salon gear. Not bad for a peasant girl with (maybe) eight years of school.

I can recall her, before she finally retired at age 80, working on a small loom-like device to attach the selected hairs, one by one, to a fine mesh net.

And the Chinese are forcibly sterilizing dark skinned minority women.

And the Chinese have over a million dark skinned minorities in concentration camps and using them for forced labor.

And not a peep (except full throated approval) from the Dems.

Althouse must be so pleased with her chosen political party.

I've removed my tinted glasses. What I see is that we're paying you to destroy us. Note to China. Do not imprison people for their religious beliefs and you'll have fewer heads of hair to have to answer for. To quote a growing descriptive phrase: "China is asshole."

The larger issue is how the Chinese - for many years - have executed political prisoners and harvested their organs for sale on the black market.

People need to understand that Joe Biden is owned by the Chinese. We know he's been bribed via his worthless son Hunter. I bet there's plenty more.

Now person who loves America could vote for Biden. I feel that strongly about it. In his own way, he's worse than Hillary. With Hillary, we knew she'd been bribed by all sorts of foreigners but at least Hillary wasn't senile. Is Dr. Jill Biden going to be the real President if Joe wins? Hunter? Joe's Chief of Staff?

Josephbleau म्हणाले...

We didn't do it, you can't prove we did it, there are no regulations about hair, it is difficult to supervise our prison guards and what they take and sell. The virus did not come from our level 4 lab, it is difficult to supervise our lab assistants who sell infected test animals to the food markets. The hair was made by the CIA to attack the peaceful PRC.

China needs to hire some cultural translators. Tinted glasses see only the beauty and hide all the truth, according to singer John Conlee.

Comment regarding Chris Rock documentary about hair.

" What is shown but not pointed out is the exploitation of poor Indian and Asian people who sell or donate their hair to the weave industry. Particularly in India. I'm shocked to learn that the hair weave industry is so lucrative that it creates a special crime: cutting a young woman's hair off without her consent. There is even a darker crime happening within the Indian religious temples- they preach the idea of 'sacrifice to the god's' of your hair- then turn around and sell the penitents' hair to the multi- billion dollar industry that is hungry for Indian hair. The religious leaders and their temples have amassed a enormous fortune from worshipful sacrifices. One can only be skeptical about the practice. All in all, I enjoyed this documentary enormously. It educated me on black culture- it's about time that films take such an intimate look into the black American experience. This show was not preachy, had no sex, no cursing, and is appropriate for any age. Highly recommended."

It is difficult now to ascertain the sources of American retailers' products (sleepwear, pots and pans, home furnishings, PPEs, etc.) Those of us who can afford to pay more need to act out of conscience and make our message clear. https://theidiosyncratist.blogspot.com/2020/02/my-china-boycott.html

We would need to have real journalists go to the prison and interview people? But they would lie. So we would need covert contact with the Urguir victims.

Now Communist have no compunction to lie. The State is everything, the individual is nothing. China has demonstrated since it first became communist that they LIE. Survival of the state is number one.

So how can we possibly trust China on anything. Why do we invest there knowing they are a totalitarian government that by its own code demands all production be in the hands of the state and no person has 'rights'??

It is well past time to de-invest in the CCP. I am sure many South American countries would be happy to produce anything China produces.. Meds, textiles, electronics, vehicle parts, etc...

Time to get out and find better trading partners than Communist.

Too bad there's no such thing as genes

There's DNA in hair follicles, which they probably wouldn't get with this hair, with hair shafts it's trickier "A better understanding of DNA quantity and quality, for nuclear DNA in particular, should promote further development of cost-effective forensic assays that can generate more discriminatory information from not only hair, but also other samples harboring extremely degraded DNA."
