"Somebody Give This Theater Kid a Tony for Her Musical Parodies."

Vulture raves about and interviews Liva Pierce, "a rising college sophomore from Chicago by way of Maine" with "this week’s best Twitter video."

I showed you the video yesterday morning, and some (but not all) of you were amused.

Hire her for SNL.

She got the MOJO!

Shouldn't a job come before the Tony? I think Nobel Laureate Obama might agree.

She is delightful. Can't sing for sh!t, but delightful nonetheless.

I left her a nice comment on the You.

My favorite line.

"Alright men, let's raise a glass.... 'We are British and we're going to waaaar!'"

It must be noted that her gag on musicals was actually a better gag on 'music kicking in during emotional scenes in movies.' She rarely broke into song. I enjoyed it immensely with the premise I imagined.

And the fact that she demonstrates how to be clever with bare-bones technology & staging is great.

“Hire her for SNL.”
She was bad, but she wasn’t that bad.

Australia: starring Nicole Kidman and... Hugh Jackman. Action sequences. Baz Lurmann. Wizard of Oz references. WW II adventure. Bomb.

She said she lives in “absolute panic of global warming.” Sounds like she’d fit right in with real actors.

Quite cerebral. Can be her golden ticket.
Once she is confident with herself she may find a way into Broadway to be better polished for mature adults. Comedy clubs are no grunge dive bars. She'll be fine.
Billie Eillish has a backing of two veteran artists already in the industry & she has not raised enough blood pressure in haters. Confidence first, then choose your enemies, argh, I mean friends.

We didn't start the fire, it was always;
play with fire and get burned.
Or, start a franchise like Billie Joel...
