Getting feedback about being attractive is not the only source of confidence but knowing you are attractive can be a big confidence booster. That kind confidence is sexy especially when it is effortless. I have found that people who have always known they are attractive and sexy have no qualms about occasionally posting unflattering photos of themselves.
