A Twitter meme — reported at The Daily Beast with the headline "A Woman Cleaned Trump’s Hollywood Star— And It Became A Brutal Meme" — turns out to be surprisingly sweet and lighthearted. Not brutal at all. Not even anti-Trump.

If Anderson Pooper has a star, I hate to imagine how his fans would show their respect for his presidency.
During the campaign a homeless woman was kicked and taunted as she lay motionless on the pavement after she protected Trump's star. Her tormentors seemed proud. She was just a deplorable.
Not sure why you're not seeing the anti-Trump element. All the follow-ups are mocking the first woman, ostensibly for the "MY" in her tweet but that's obviously just the excuse they latched onto to ridicule and hate her for being pro-Trump. And of course they reiterate that he's not their president.
I assume this is all in good fun, but we as individuals don't get to decide that so-and-so is or is not our President, and the "not my president" meme is dangerously illiberal. It needs to stop -- and it will the next time a Democrat is innaugurated. As Trump would say, "sad".
Does saying that the President of the United States is not your president constitute a verbal renunciation of citizenship?
If the right had done this under Obama, they would all be labeled racist. That's how it works. Witty when they do it. Racist when others do it to them.

Imagine how sexist this would be had Hillary won.

Yes, they're mocking her. But I think tweeting that somebody is "MY president" when that somebody isn't actually anybody's president is pretty stupid.
I actually had lots of drinks with watermelon in them today. Which is patriotic because the red color in watermelon is like the red in red white and blue.

I used the think Liberals - whatever else they were - were full of political humor and wit. That seemed to have disappeared under Obama, who they wouldn't satirize because he was black, and it hasn't made a re-appearance.

By the way this rumor is disproved, proven false.
The proof: I told my mother about it, she hadn't heard it, didn't believe it and hasn't come back about it. Dead rumor, stinks like fish. Nothing in life would delight her Trump-detesting mind more than such a bonbon-Tiffany's no less, so there's no life in it, Howard, you may well believe me, If she is not the fish for that bait, there is no bait and no fish.
Dismiss it from your mind.
It's a kindness to you to say so because trafficking in it makes you look like dogmeat.
We are increasingly living in a country where there are two different realities. I suspect the left's general moral inferiority complex is the explanation for why so many random people tried to mock a woman who simply held some measure of respect for the person who is her president.

What I find most revealing is their lack of shame.
If my tribe BEAT a homeless woman who was protecting Hillary Clinton's "star", I would be too ashamed to go back there to pushback against another woman basically doing the same thing. I would not want it back in the news.
Worse for them, it darkens any mercy or charity I would throw the Left's way.

Well he as much as admitted that he chose women despite the "challenge" for political reasons. So it would not be surprising if the "rumors" are true. If he comes out, he will be a hero, and all of the manipulation and self loathing will be forgotten.
