"Mr Jack's death occurred shortly before he was due to demonstrate how heart implants could be hacked at the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas."
So how did master-hacker Barnaby Jack — who was only 36 — die? The coroner's report is in, and it seems that the expert at computer hacking lacked comparable genius in mixing drugs. He died of "acute mixed drug intoxication... an accidental overdose of heroin, cocaine, and prescription drugs."

Just like that hacker dude who allegedly crashed his car at high speed in the wee hours of the morning. One suspects that should Edward Snowden show his face in America ever again, he could also be expected to demonstrate similar bad drug judgment.
But I love and trust my government... (cough, cough)
Very odd:
"Instead, his physical symptoms indicated an accidental overdose of heroin, cocaine, and prescription drugs.
The report said Mr Jack's girlfriend had found him lying in bed unresponsive, with "multiple bottles of beer and champagne in the garbage can"."
No toxicology report and if one is ripping along on amix of H, Coke and Oxy/Vicodin, the beer and champaign don't make a heck of a lot of sense.
No one mixes beer and champaign.
"No one mixes beer and champaign."
What's in the trash doesn't necessarily equal what you drank at the same time.
I believe the correct spelling for the bubbly liquid is "champagne." "Champaign" is a college town in Illinois.
And, yes, one mixes beer with Champaign.
Who mixed his drugs?
Another genius who got exactly what he desired most: annihilation.
