I ask, and Meade says: "This is 'A Song To Play Every Time You See A Sexist, Racist, Or Homophobic Comment Online.'"
Me: "I would rather be called a 'fucking cunt' than have to listen to that song."
If you want to hear the chirpy irritatingness that I heard, you'll have to go — warning: it's Upworthy — here.

I will never watch anything on Upworthy, because, well, I have found it's never ever worth my time.
I thought it was cute, but it needs subtitles.
Oy.... or does this comment belong in the next post....
I'd rather be called a 'fucking cunt' than listen to that song and I'm a dick.
Man, that thing just goes on for way too long.
Fucking cunt isn't sexist.
Are those tweezer quotes.
It's hard to account for the indefinite article otherwise.
Cunts do not require tweezers.
It's appropriate that it's on Upworthy, but skip the soulless posturing aggregator and go to the Youtube source:

I only made it through the verse. She dos have nice breasts though.
Wait, I don't think I'm getting the point of the song.
I like it. Yes, subtitles would help.
At least it's not an earworm.

No, I too thought it was about breasts. Very disappointing. Must be light gravity today.
As usual, people in that age group have nothing intelligent to say.
It's just another progressive woman trying to police speech.
I bet she think Bush is a fascist. And anybody in the GOP is automatically a 'sexistbigothomophobe'.
But, don't say mean things about women, or gays. Especially if they are true. That's beyond the pale.
Thank you, hater.
Sounds like a typical Broadway show tune. It's why most people hate show tunes! There's something grating about the form.
(Note that I said "typical" show tune; there are, of course, those outstanding works that warrant all the acclaim and popularity they receive.)
I watched a dvd the other day of an old PBS series from 1992 called "Behind the Scenes," a show directed at children wherein Penn & Teller talk about various aspects of art-making, (line, color, perspective). The dvd included three episodes, one with guest artist David Hockney, and another a two-fer, featuring Wayne Thiebaud and Matt Groening, (the third featured painter Robert Gil De Montes). I loved watching Hockney, Groening, and (especially) Thiebaud draw, but the episode with Hockney was fatally undone by a terrible Broadway show-tune number about creating the illusion of depth...a real stinker! (Far worse than the tune on Upworthy linked to here.) And it went on interminably! It seems so condescending to think that children must hear ideas presented in the form of (bad) song, as if they won't be interested otherwise. At least try to write a good song!
Very counterproductive. Every single second of that video my only thought was that I'd have a go on her tits too.
Do we really want to live in a world where people don't make fun of Miley Cyrus?
Playing in your head yet?
Upworthy is DOWNworthy. I'ma guessin' I'ma hater, in their opinion.

Only if you let it.
I am with the Professor on this one (as usual).
Nice rack. I wonder if she has a thigh gap?
OK....I think I have this post figured...Althouse would rather be called a fucking cunt than listen, but some commented on the tits. So....I listened to it with the sound off. The actress may hate haters, but she did choose to put some cleavage on display as hate bait.

I've seen that wanking monkey around here somewhere.
Professor, do you believe that epithet ("f*cking c*nt") to be the worst thing that a man can call a woman?
It's interesting to me that you chose that particular phrase as the basis for comparison to a bad song.

I kept hoping it was gonna get funny. Nope.
I read the post and tits was mentioned. Yes, I immediately went there, and, yes I'd do her. And her tits.
