Looks like they drive on the right. I wonder if they ever drove on the left. Hitler made Austria and others change to the right. This decree was in force with no preparation or warning. Signs could not be changed so fast nor everyone's habits. I wouldn't want to drive in 1939 Austria except maybe to get to Switzerland. The Nazis might have seized 25% of my assets but this is less than Chuck Schumer wants if you leave the U.S. At least he hasn't decided that over night we should drive on the left. I don't know if he likes tulips.

One of the coolest and most memorable vacations I ever took was visiting Keukenhof Gardens in The Netherlands about 25 years ago. Just imagine the sensory overload from strolling around in a park with several million flowers. The wide variety of vivid colors, aromatic fragrances, and striking arrangements make for a unique experience. And on the bus ride there, we passed by fields and fields of commercially grown tulips in bloom, often as far as the eye could see.

I have some nice photos, but if I had Althouse skill as a photographer they'd be a lot better.

The Wif took a barge vacation through there with her mom. Fantastic pics. I call them "industrial strength tulips"

Oh My.. I came here to write a comment Keukenhof(Kitchen garden)-- I was there too about 25 years ago, 1987 when we lived there for a year..

I would buy flowers for our apartment almost every few days. Even now I drool over flowers from street vendors when on travel but who buys flowers for their hotel room?

You realize, of course, that these are all genetically engineered Frankenflowers.

Bad, bad tulips!

Looks like they still do something right.

Very pretty, indeed.

I was expecting a lot of red.

You can rollerskate across Holland in about three hours. Really charming pics. I like how even the cars looked like part of the composition. It made me realize how Dutch was Mondrian.

Lots of windmills. You'd think that the windpower movement would use these as propaganda.
