Bedlam must have been the brew of choice in South Beach this weekend. Did you see the videos and assorted stories that Drudge was linking today? "Crazy" doesn't quite capture the spirit of Urban Memorial Weekend in that town.
Those who live there are pleading with organizers to make this the last year.
Chuck Schumer vouches for Weiner in a news sound clip, "I know him to be a person of integrity" (approx. quote).
I'd think Schumer would avoid the word integrity, just as short people have the sense not to call anybody tall lest people wonder what they'd consider tall.
(BTW great having the name of an ancient alcoholic beverage isn't it)
So did you try one of these adult beverages? Care to provide your review?
I'm with ET1492. Belgian IPA is a new brew. Nothing 'Belgian' about classic IPA. Beer was overhopped to make the long journey at sea...hops have an antibiotic effect and didn't allow the beer to spoil. Don't forget refrigeration was nonexistent 'back in the day'.

Not really, because the hair it would have grown on most of south beaches men would have been to much for them. Remember, they have their twinks to consider afterall.
"Damn Professor--this is all a clever plot to deprive trademark dave from his pathetic winebox schtick."
Actually, I've never bought or (to my knowledge) been served wine from a wine box. I do enjoy a glass of wine with dinner. People who have a problem with that are puritanical. As for Bedlam ale... I liked the label and photographed it, before Meade put it in a cooler along with a lot of other Wisconsin beer and drove off on his mountain biking trip. I didn't get so much as a sip. But if you look it up on the beer-reviewing websites, you'll see it's very highly rated. Recommended by the guy at Steve's too.

More surrealism, I see.
Belgian-style India pale ale, huh?
Is that like American chop suey?

"Mug of lum for your thoughts, kid?" said Hans Solo to Luke Skywalker.
But somebody needs to watch out for those lumrunners.
Red ale is where its at. Red Nectar from Humbolt, Ca. or Tröegs Nugget Nectar from Pa.

well done
I take it that's a glass whatever behind the bottle and not a watermelon.
PS I see Ann is branching out in names for open fora. Can ricpic(IIRC)'s suggestion of "brothel" be far in the future?
PPS I think Roger meant, "Damn, Professor", instead of casting doubt on Ann's chances of salvation.
edutchder--I apologize for using the ee cumings approach--you are, of course, correct--commas were built for a purpose

You don't want that moment of reflection.
@Meade

But if you had gone here then your madhouse could have been a mead(e)house.
Is that ale any good?
Kloppenberg has a news conference at 11:00 to announce the union's decision on contesting the election.
I wonder how long she will pause?

It's also the weekend an old friend and me decided to make a midnight run into the SoBe “gunfire.”
