Wow, beautiful. We are having an early spring in Maine, but Wisconsin looks even more advanced. I thought that your climate would be similar to Maine. Are you having an early spring?
The flowering trees in our area (MI) are loaded with blooms. I haven't seen them this full in long time. Even the old crabs that tend to patchy participation are into all out production. Maybe it has something to do with the cool summer last year.
Whatever it is, I find their abundance heartening. Something is working.
Not a bad thought in spring, summer and fall, but if you think I am going to stand outside buck naked all winter long you got another guess coming mister. ;)
Rh, your video should come with a warning to turn the volume down. You bicycle SO fast that the mic makes it sound like an impending tornado in Ohio. lol
The tree in the bottom picture? I'm ashamed to say I don't know its name but it's very close to the tree outside my kitchen window, which looked so good to me when I first saw it that it clinched my decision to buy the house. What would morning in the kitchen be without that tree to look out on?

Trees tie the earth and sky...
We're going off on another Frank Zappa tangent, aren't we?
Call me crazy.. but I bet that lovely park is not in Arizona.
Help, save me from the trees!

Because Meadehouse is boycotting the state?

Now I'm depressed. The hubby killed my favorite tree by applying 2,4-D in the dripline two years ago. Stunted last year, dead now.
Probably the greatest trial of my marriage.
Is the middle pic of a Japanese Maple? It looks like the tree in my front yard.
Because Meadehouse is boycotting the state?
No, because it doesn't look like this.
That's not many trees. Especially if you're going to provide wood for Al and Tipper Gore's 6 fireplace mansion.
WV: piges
No shit.
strap yourself to the tree with roots
You ain’t goin’ nowhere.
also: flowers on the hillside bloomin crazy.
Be the tree.
"Be the tree."

WOW!!!
Which of these trees do you and Needy eat?
And what about storage?
And do you have to refrigerate them?

Duh.
Penny, you'd be asleep.
Today was an irruption of Field Mustard.

On tree threads! In order to
Branch, Flower, or Bark?
"In order to
Branch, Flower, or Bark?"
Wag more, bark less.
Also. Laura Bush's memoir is coming out next week.
Visit www.laurabush.com and see where you go.
Hey Jeremy, Jeff Ireland has a question for you.
The trees may not want to be with us. If so, there are times I wouldn't blame them.
You've caught the haiku fever, Mama.

Run hard, bark loud.
That's Mrs. Hudson's philosophy, even if she can only manage a "Reff, reff" right now. Wait till she's big like her mom.
@edutcher: one of these days, you should post a photo of the pups.
"Penny, you'd be asleep."
True, but I might get cold out there. Do you think you could have a friend knit me a tree cosy?

My new allergy pills are almost perfect this year. Just a little itching under the eyes.
Can anyone name all three trees?
All the liberals in College land are Trees-onous;)

I'm shocked by this brazen display of plant genitalia. Was exposed pistils the theme for the day?
fls...What are you looking at?
There have been brazen displays of plant genitalia all week. But this selection of pictures??? Barely a pistil to be seen.
This must be the thread where those arguing about shovels and pickaxes come to growl and let off steam.

I suppose you're right, although I'm hardly the photographer Ann is. Maybe if I start an account on Flickr, we can get them sold.
@edutcher: Raff raff!
Can anyone name all the trees?
Sure. There's Ted, that pinkish one is Irene, an that one's Dmitiri, over there is Uma, and that annoying bush is Rielle.
"True, but I might get cold out there. Do you think you could have a friend knit me a tree cosy?"
How do you get into that thing?
