You have to wonder why the USA was drafting boys at 18 in WW2, since we weren't "fighting for our lives". And we had plenty of men. 22 million ages 18-37. Almost all draftees in World war 1 had been 20 and up. Draft age for Korea was 18 1/2.

And I don't know what peace agreements you are talking about. The Oslo Accords did not prohibit Jewish settlement. That was explicitly left for subsequent negotiations.

And nobody thought twice about making it a state from 1948-1967. It was never a sovereign state and it’s still not a state. It’s officially disputed territory because there never was a final deal or boundary established. The Arabs refused in 1947 and afterwards to accept a state and the state of Israel and they’re still stuck. But they have adopted terminology like occupation and apartheid and settlers and permanent victimhood while their president Abbas just delayed once again any elections until 2027, now serving as president for 21 years of a four year term. And continue to demand intifada and plotting to murder the Jews and destroying Israel.
But Israel gets accused of being a gangster state? For resisting annihilation and stopping the terrorists. As if that’s a crime. And we’re expected to condemn the entire country of Israel because about 150 violent zealots out of hundreds of thousands of peaceful Jews living in Judea and Samaria.
Jews have no problem with Arab citizens in Israel but Arabs of Palestine can’t possibly live in a country with any Jews. Not that they’ve ever met any Jews but we’re told the Jews are the problem, the oppressive racists. When you’re dealing with Jew haters it’s such a waste of time.
