With Apple Music I can stream all my music. This was a revelation. Apple killed the iTunes star and it was reborn via... a competitor. Maybe I could have streamed with iTunes and I never tried it. Water under the dam.

Omfg yes. Both of them, really. And they seem so young. And she is so delicate, shedding the androgynous tomboy persona for a little while. You can tell they really are mourning their friend. I watch the video whenever I need a good happy cry.

I've always thought of anorexia as a sort of self-abortion that draws the family into your vortex, spiraling back into being a helpless child, then infant, then death, all involving being fed and refusing feeding. Maybe suicide or drug oblivion is similar, but anorexia is so intertwined with being there for a long time to recreate helplessness while experiencing power over your family, if hostile, or seeking recognition for something awful, if needy. Pre-psychology, it was also a common religious act of denial that often ended in death. Either way, attention-seeking. Unfortunately, after some point, the brain chemistry takes over.
Why are rates rising in young males so fast?
Pressure is an excellent song but was silly when it was made. A bunch of multi-millionaires living in the most prosperous times for the most people in human history. Maybe 1% less now. It's by people with limitless lifestyle choices about people with far more limited but, historically, objectively, comfortable lifestyle choices. All that has changed is the narcissism of the internet poisoning young minds to make the mistakes of the past, yet again.
