These photos show what a beautiful world we live in!

Ann, you have had a great blog over many years with such a high level of commenters. How about putting together a list of the major commenters over the years on your blog (e.g., Dr. Kennedy) - maybe even with links to their best comments or string of comments. Maybe a job for AI?

Spiros Pappas म्हणाले...

Trump should start renaming planets. He can at least reclassify Pluto as a planet.

Trump should’ve gone with Lake Dontario on his renaming hijinks.

El-Sayed, Hasan, great memories
Now he's just some bitch who flaked on Twitch
His poor dog, such miseries

"Hijinks", is it?

The left has been renaming things for years, Trump has done it a couple of times. And now, the left is butthurt because he's playing by the rules they insisted on.

Another day ending in "Y".

Iman म्हणाले...

hijinks: Carefree antics, horseplay, or lighthearted pranks that do not cause serious trouble

Iman म्हणाले...

and as we’ve heard, the Democrats were renaming bridges, statues, mountains, etc. for years, yes.

Crazy video of a knife wielding woman getting shot by the police after stabbing two people. Not sure if she's a "Woman" or a woman. Anyway, she looks to be about 5-2, and she was surrounded by Cops before she slowly approached them, and was tased and then shot twice.

You gotta wonder why one of the cops just didn't tackle her from behind. Fortunately for the cop who shot her, he's black, and she's white. If it had been the other way round every libtard in the USA would be screaming bloody murder. But now they go "ho hum".

Mason G म्हणाले...

"hijinks: Carefree antics, horseplay, or lighthearted pranks that do not cause serious trouble"

Fair enough. I apologize for the ""Hijinks", is it?" part of my comment.

RCOCEAN II म्हणाले...

Also Senator Kennedy (R-LA) who's sitting on a warchest of $800 million says he has zero money to give to Paxson to help him win a Senate Seat in Texas.

IOW, the Senate R's want Paxson to lose. Which is typical of their behavior. They don't care if they are in the minority. All that matters in the RINOs control the Senate Republican caucus

Thats why "Conservatives" are always morons when they say we must support the Establishment candidate because "The D might win". The fucking Republican establishment doesn't care if they "Beat the Ds". They're on the same side!

Iman म्हणाले...

No apologies necessary, Mason. The definition also mentioned “more than once”, so this one barely qualified as a “hijink”.

“Prank” would’ve been more accurate on my part. 😁

…talking about Dean Rusk today- in junior high I wrote a report for social studies where one of my source books had a typo- Dearn Rusk. I found it strange but with only junior high experience didn’t think much of it. The teacher was a SUNY leftie and was really pissed at the error- ten points off. I showed him the book and said I couldn’t find a suitable alternative source. That made it worse…

If one believes in the Uniparty (I really don't), then you must be for fighting federal deficit and debt by raising taxes and cutting gov spending across the board. Cheers!

Like in 1990 where were the spending cuts tell me another one

Indefinitely Extended Excursion™️ म्हणाले...

All these octogenarians running the US government realize they’ll be dead in 5 years so why not spend like there’s no tomorrow. They literally gold-plated the Oval Office and told Trump he's the greatest president ever. See it in the glitz!

The bond market will tell the people since the government cannot. In a temple of lies, the rates will not lie.

Dr Weevil म्हणाले...

For those who think Iranians are all Muslims who hate the US (Twitter link):

"Navid Mohammadzadeh, one of Iran’s biggest movie stars, Venice winner, posted a video two weeks ago wearing Palestine colors and declaring he will support them forever.

"Iranians didn’t argue. They didn’t 'have a conversation.' They erased him. Nearly a million unfollows in a day. His current Tehran play’s ticket sales cratered so badly the producers dropped him from the cast.

"This happened in Tehran. Not London. Not Los Angeles. Inside the country the regime has spent decades trying to turn into a Palestine cheering section.

"If the same video dropped in New York, he’d get a standing ovation, a think-piece, and extra work."

Just a few days ago, someone here (IEE? jaq?) was insisting that Trump was lying, lying, lying about the Strait of Hormuz being open, and quoted some organization none of us had ever heard of named Kpler as contradicting him. Here's the latest on that from Twitter (link):

"Kpler, which for months now has been cited by everyone in the media showing that 'no secret tankers exist' has quietly updated their methodology RETROACTIVELY and magically found nearly a billion barrels of oil they missed

"Just incredible stuff"

Indefinitely Extended Excursion™️ म्हणाले...

Kpler’s estimate was revised, therefore Kpler lied” is about as sophisticated as arguing that a weather forecast was fraudulent because the meteorologist later got more data.

Dr Weevil म्हणाले...

Anyone who follows the link I gave and reads the replies to that comment, some agreeing with it, others not, will know that IEE is lying again, that Kpler didn't adjust some numbers to make them more accurate, they reversed their entire claim, and did so without admitting that they did that. Follow the link if you want to know the facts. IEE doesn't - doesn't follow, and doesn't want to know the truth. His paymasters pay him to deny it.

Iman म्हणाले...

Better put some ice on that, ITripleKak!

Indefinitely Extended Excursion™️ म्हणाले...

The factual weakness in Dr Weevil’s comment is the claim that Kpler “reversed its entire claim.” Kpler’s own explanation says the opposite: it explicitly describes why the numbers changed, including different counting lines and delayed confirmation of previously unobserved movements. It says its figures are “confirmed floors” that revise upward as additional evidence arrives. https://www.kpler.com/blog/explainer-the-nuances-of-reading-hormuz-oil-flows-data

Kpler revising an estimate after finding previously unobserved tanker movements is evidence that its earlier estimate was wrong, not that it lied. “They reversed their entire claim” is an assertion, not a fact established by the link.

And Kpler still doesn’t say Hormuz was fully open; its revised estimate was still roughly 40% of prewar flows. By all means criticize Kpler’s methodology. But when the evidence doesn’t support the accusation, calling someone a paid liar doesn’t strengthen your argument—it just advertises that you don’t have one.

Dr Weevil म्हणाले...

Kpler is covering their ass and lying. They retroactively added nearly ONE BILLION barrels to the amount that had successfully exited the Gulf. That's more than FORTY DAYS pre-war traffic!

When the US Navy reported that lots of traffic was sneaking through unobserved by Iran, I believe it was IEE who insisted that the Navy was lying, and that Kpler was telling the truth. Now that Kpler has massively "adjusted" their numbers, does IEE admit that the Navy was right and he was wrong? No, because he's a lying paid propagandist repeating talking points distributed to him by his paymasters.

Chief Justice John Roberts broke with his conservative colleagues in a Supreme Court decision on Monday that allowed construction on the proposed White House ballroom to continue, stating that the ruling undermines the separation of powers.

Roberts, joined by the three liberal justices, contended that the majority’s reasoning likely infringed on Congress’s power of the purse and authority to regulate federal property in the nation’s capital.

mccullough म्हणाले...

Maybe Congress will turn John Roberts office into a broom closet under their power to regulate federal property.
