In the US democrats are telling us that Trump is Hitler while in Israel Jews are chanting Thank You Trump.
What a strange world we live in.

The Trump administration has accomplished a lot in negotiating a ceasefire and getting all of the living hostages returned. That was the easy part. Getting the people of the region to decide that living in peace with their neighbors, and trying to achieve prosperity for all, is better than killing them -- That's the hard part.

Dave Begley म्हणाले...

Any objective person would agree with me that Donald J. Trump is one of our greatest Presidents.

I sent a note to the Governor of Nebraska. I asked him to create an award: In the Deed, the Glory. The award would go to someone who did something great, but was ignored.

The words are inscribed on Memorial Stadium in Lincoln and are known to all Nebraskans.

Dave Begley म्हणाले...

As a kid, we frequently prayed at Mass for peace in the Middle East. I never thought it would happen. Then came Trump. He accomplished a miracle.

It isn’t so strange once you accept the fact that Democrats are nothing more than corrupt morons.

Derve म्हणाले...

I hope they don't kill our president over there.
Not everybody wants peace. Pray for real.

RCOCEAN II म्हणाले...

Hopefully this will stop the Israeli Genocide in Gaza. At last count over 50,000 Palestinians have been murdered by the war criminals running Israel. And one can hope for a miracle, and maybe Israel will keep the agreement. But history says..no.

Anyway, one can also hope Trump goes on and makes peace in a much bigger and more important conflict - Ukraine/Russia. A more useless conflict has never exists. Slav brothers killing each other over where the border should be. Russia has almost gotten all of Donetsk and Lugansk (both misspelled) and once it gets the last major cities, they'll be no reason for Ukraine to fight. They've lost them and they're not getting them back - unless the Russians lose WW III.

Hey Skipper म्हणाले...

RCOCEAN: That word, genocide, doesn’t mean what you think it means.

traditionalguy म्हणाले...

Once again the CNN and MSNBC talkers are busy pumping out propaganda about Trump being a tricky failure who is not as smart as they are.

Eva Marie म्हणाले...

“Hopefully this will stop the Israeli Genocide in Gaza.”
1. You will be happy to know that the citizens of Gaza are now conducting their own “genocide” as rival gangs of thugs turn on each other.
2. Why would you post this? This is the first day of a peace process and it doesn’t seem you want that. No moment of conciliatory congratulations to all sides.

Creola Soul म्हणाले...

The Ds will have to go to extraordinary lengths, even for them, to make peace in the Middle East be a bad thing. But, nevertheless, they will try it because….Trump.

Eva Marie म्हणाले...

As for Russia/Ukraine, Putin fucked up. He should have taken Trump up on starting a process to peace. The war is now a drone war. And Ukrainians are much more innovative.
For 2 reasons:
1. When Putin invaded, there was a mass exodus of young people in the computer fields.
2. The free market is going to reward the best drone makers in Ukraine. Russia has no such reward system.

Its interesting how zionists and leftists always need to personalize everything. "Why am I bringing this up?". Why not just discuss Israel's actions.

But to answer the question. Maybe because I care about human beings and the world. Not to mention my Government providing bombs to Israel for Genocide in Gaza. And the USA Government, despite its constant moralizing, refusing to break a hunger blockade. Or deny aid to Bibi Netenyahu - who has a warrant out for being a war criminal.

RCOCEAN II म्हणाले...

And frankly, given Israel's actions over the last 50 years, I have no confidence they'll keep a ceasefire. Or stop ethnically cleansing Arabs from the West Bank. Or stop bombing Lebanon or Syria. Or trying to get us into a war against Iran.

Eva Marie म्हणाले...

I should have been more clear. The mass exodus of folks in the computer fields was from Russia. For a month, maybe 2, the Russian borders were open. These young people left then. I used to follow several of them on YouTube. They were uniformly against the invasion. They were resentful too. Because they knew they could make more money outside of Russia. But they stayed out of a sense of patriotism. That ended with the invasion. In fact none of the young people were for the invasion.

Yet all the Arab nations support this. And the whole world with the exception of a handful of nations supported the American and Israeli actions in Iran.
But you go ahead and agitate for war.

Cappy म्हणाले...

God bless Trump.

Howard म्हणाले...

Everyone wants this to work out. Given history, it's naive to have any hope or expectations of success. That said, Trump did a great job getting the current cycle of murder to slow down to the normal background noise of the ever present Holy War.

There are “No Kings” events occurring this Saturday. What poor timing! Of course, they could rename the events to “No Peacemakers” if they care to be more accurate wrt their hate for Trump.

Eva Marie म्हणाले...

No, you don’t. Because in the final analysis, the people who are right and the people who are wrong have to learn to live with each other.

Oh, the "why" is patently obvious.

The Middle Coast म्हणाले...

A somewhat warmer reception than he got in the UN. The people in the ivory towers don’t get this guy at all. The people on the ground get it.

Clyde म्हणाले...

I did something that I haven’t done since Election Night snd flipped over to MSNBC and CNN to see what their coverage looked like. The faces of the taking heads were grim, unlike the smiles on Fox News. The coverage was actually fairly straightforward, although it would be hard to spin against the ceasefire that their views have been marching in the streets for. Their analysts pointed out that this has been the easy part, and that getting Hamas to live up to the Trump peace plan will be extremely difficult. Still, it must have been jarring for their viewers to watch Literally Hitler doing his best to bring peace to the Middle East. Worst Fascist Ever!

Trump said nice things about almost evrybody, suggested Herzog should pardon Bibi. I thought for sure he was going to forgive the Jews for killing Christ, he was on such a roll. CC, JSM

He also name checked the Abraham Accords and made sure to call them the Avraham Accords too. Wish he or his writers had also dropped the Ibrahim version in there too. Might have gotten some applause from the Arab MK’s. CC, JSM

“Jerusalem was also the favorite place of that other great American, Jesus Christ. Not everybody in Jerusalem liked him, though. That sometimes happens to great leaders, you know. But hey, someone had to kill him. It was part of the plan. And it wasn’t just you guys - it was also the Romans. You know, today is Columbus Day. Great Italian American holiday. The Italians felt so bad about killing Jesus, they moved the headquarters of the church to Rome, you know. So we forgave them a long time ago. And so, today, I am officially signing an Executive Order forgiving the Jews for killing Jesus. Come on down, Steve Miller. Lemme sign that thing. Don’t worry, you’re forgiven too. All part of the plan. Part of the plan.” CC, JSM

And the USA Government, despite its constant moralizing, refusing to break a hunger blockade.

The Gazans I saw on TV yesterday looked uniformly well fed.

Egypt shares a border with Gaza and could easily provide food relief from a tiny fraction of the billions of dollars we hand out to them every year. But the border fence on their side is taller and stronger and more tightly locked than on the Israeli side. Like all Muslim countries, they talk a good game about Palestine, but in private they loathe them as ignorant, violent troublemakers, and would not accept a single one of them as a refugee.

If you're not willing for me to dismiss you as merely a Jew-hater, show me a comment you've made about Egypt's failure to open the border and feed their "starving" co-religionists....

1. There was no genocide. This was a WAR started by Hamas. Not Israel. Israel fought a war and men, women and children died. To bad, so sad. You start a war and ALL your citizens are at risk. You don’t want women & children to die? DON’T START A FUCKING WAR.
2. There is no food shortage in Gaza. That’s just garbage the media feed you. If you can’t find fat Gazans on the internet you’re choosing not to look. They are all over my X feed. Men and women. Haven’t seen many children.
3. Hamas is now busy shooting those they think are traitors and blaming it on Israel. I am sure there are enough idiots who will believe that garbage take.
4. Trump is working his ass off and has accomplished more in 9 months than brain dead Biden did. But, keep up with your TDS and continue to live your pathetic life that many here laugh at EVERY SINGLE DAY!
5. Yes, there will be many hiccups along the way. Believe it or not terrorists don’t generally like to follow anyone’s rules. We just need to support Israel when they start shooting the barbarians again. We don’t live there. It’s not our citizens paying the price-it is Israel’s. If they feel the need to kill some Hamas goons I will never criticize them.

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

The 20-point peace plan, requiring Hamas's disarmament, commitment to peace, an Arab force deployment, non-Hamas technocrats, and no Hamas governance, is unlikely to be fully implemented as drafted due to significant challenges.

However, a more feasible outcome could be a hostage deal, where Israel pauses military operations to allow Hamas to release hostages in exchange for Israel freeing prisoners. While not guaranteed, this would be a notable achievement, though far from the lasting Middle East peace Trump envisions. It would still mark a significant improvement over the past two years.

A begrudging acknowledgement by Kakistocracy that the President Trump has made a significant improvement in the world is itself “ a notable achievement.”

This is why we voted for Donald J Trump, president of the United States

So, the BBC is a leftist rag. It's always been a leftist rag. But right now, their journalism is not falling apart. So, for instance, they are unafraid to tell us what is happening in Gaza after the Israelis left.

Our media, including Althouse's beloved NYT, is up to its eyeballs with TDS. We joke about it. But his presidency is clearly affecting their minds.

Trump is bad. Everything Trump does is bad. Everybody who likes Trump is bad. Israel likes Trump, Israel is bad. Trump stops a war. That's bad, too. Somehow it's bad. Give us a minute and we'll figure out how it's bad.

Palestinians killing Palestinians is outside the leftist narrative. It's like black people killing black people. "That doesn't help us." So they ignore it. So the news is skewed. And it's their bias, and their politics, that is doing this work.

BBC is biased too. We all are! But our media's TDS is a particularly brutal case of bias and inability to see the reality of what is happening. You see it, but you don't want to see it. You report on it, but you don't want to report on it.

The BBC's story is reporting on what is happening, the reality of it. American media, it's a damn blurb. 27 dead in Gaza. And the lack of interest in telling the truth leads many people to see that headline and think ("Israel is still killing people").

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

FWIW: Trump is dramatically more popular in Israel than Netanyahu. and the Israeli prime minister is well aware of that.

According to Grok's aggregated polling results -- it’s about 80% to 40%.

I'm sure you're willing to to anything - except mount a persuasive defense of Israel's Genocidal actions or their hunger blockade of Gaza. Or their breaking of UN treaties and resolutions to steal land on the West Bank.

Or explain in a rational manner why the US taxpayers should be funding Israel's military and its bombing and assassinations. Why does Israel get to commit war crimes and still get funding from the US Taxpayer?

RCOCEAN II म्हणाले...

Again zionists always want to derail and call names. Lets not talk about what Israel is doing, lets talk about anyone questioning Israel's actions.
