The Fake News completed misrepresented what was written on that card. What desperate liars.

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

Trump just wrote that personalized birthday card to Epstein as part of his undercover assignment as an FBI informant.

Trump didn’t send his criminal defense attorney Todd Blanche to hook up Ghislaine Maxwell with minimum security cushy accommodations @ Club Fed because Trump was innocent.

Achilles म्हणाले...

So now that the Epstein files definitively show that Trump was involved with Epstein, as an FBI informant, what do we do now?

I linked the video where the reporters talked to investigators and they pointed out that Trump was the only wealthy person that helped their investigation.

But there is a group of dishonest shitheads who are still going to beat this pony.

rhhardin म्हणाले...

Eroticism aims at a future, is why it's outside of having everything.

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

MAGA doesn't care at all about his long friendship with Epstein. So Trump's refusal to order the files' release does seem odd.

Well, Kak, anti-MAGA doesn't care that he ended that friendship upon suspicion that Epstein's penchant for young women was more, or was becoming, a penchant for underage girls - unlike many other rich and influential people's long friendships with Epstein - so there's that.

Biden would have charged Trump with 34 counts or child rape if he had ANYTHING to go with. They openly changed laws and retroactively applied them to Trump in order to persecute him.

But even the people who used Biden as a puppet knew it would just help Trump.

You are just a complete deranged piece of shit Chuck. You are a racist. You are a liar. You always have been.

I am glad you are here again in one respect. Every time you post you make a new Trump voter. You embarrass everyone politically aligned with you.

The thing is we don't really need any more voters. We are going to be winning for a generation particularly after voter ID laws are passed. Part of the reason we are going to be winning elections for a long time is that people on Chuck's side are so despicable and dishonest. Thank you Chuck for everything you do.

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

Anytime someone asks “why didn’t Biden release the files”, Why didn’t JD Vance never bring in it up on the Senate floor as a Senator.

The answer to the first part is because Maxwell's trial was still in progress. Legally, Biden couldn't without getting into deep trouble.

Iman म्हणाले...

Iman म्हणाले...

“Legally, Biden couldn't without getting into deep trouble.”

LMAO! Dementia Joe didn’t know up from down and had never been known to be a stickler about legalities.

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

The letter was given to Congress by the lawyers for Epstein's estate. It's part of a birthday book put together for Epstein's 50th birthday. Is MAGA saying the lawyers for the estate fabricated the book and the letter?

I doubt even the most devout Trump worshipper buys "the Democrat Epstein Hoax."

Keldonric म्हणाले...

I’m not interested in the drama, but I am curious about the legal mechanics. In a defamation case like this, where Trump sued claiming the letter didn’t exist, what happens now that Congress has released it? Does that basically undercut his claim, or does it shift the fight to whether the signature is authentic?

cremes म्हणाले...

What a lovely duet between Mr. Jackson and Mr. Mercury. I am a much bigger fan of Queen's music and have not held Jackson in as high esteem. This duet is otherworldly though.

Thanks for sharing it, Althouse!

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

Trump sent a sexually explicit message to an infamous pedophile. But at least he didn’t write the message with an autopen.

Inga म्हणाले...

So, if Trump was the innocent hero who helped the FBI get Epstein, why then is Trump so opposed to releasing all of the files? Why did he lie about the birthday letter? Is Trump protecting some people in his cabinet? Maxwell told Todd Blanche that some of Epstein’s associates were in Trump’s cabinet. And oddly Blanche changed the subject. Or is Trump protecting some big name donors? So many unknowns, release the files, who is it going to hurt? Some men who preyed upon underage girls?

Gemini…
“During her August 2025 interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, Ghislaine Maxwell stated that some of Jeffrey Epstein's associates were in Donald Trump's cabinet. However, she did not provide specific names or elaborate on the claim.

Blanche's reaction: Blanche did not ask Maxwell for any follow-up information or to identify the cabinet members she was referring to, and he moved on from the topic.“

Dogma and Pony Show म्हणाले...

This story is retarded. The words and sketch don't implicate Trump in any way. They're actually pretty innocuous, especially compared to a lot of birthday cards you can buy at the grocery store that are based on all sorts of sexual innuendo. Does it prove Trump was "friends" with Epstein back then? That's not even disputed! (Although I imagine Trump had at least 500 friends with whom he was just as close or closer.) Lots of folks were friends with OJ Simpson back in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Does that mean they're all complicit in his crimes?

If "MAGA doesn't care," it's only because of how retarded this is.

bagoh20 म्हणाले...

Yea, this going to bring down Trump. It's like some people actually get dumber with more experience. That's a strange phenomenon, but essential among the left.
You could get them see pink elephants if Trump said none exist.

Epstein used an autopen to forge Trump’s signature on a card to himself, then kept the forged signature for 20 years. Makes sense.

Probably taunting Epstein with the pubic hair thing, no doubt grossed Epstein out. My guess is that Trump is protecting Israel, for whom Maxwell’s father was a spy chief, and the Florida judge who let him go years ago claimed that he was told that Epstein was an intelligence asset, though he didn’t say for whom, it had to have been a powerful and trusted ally.

Peachy म्हणाले...

Inag is dissecting the curved lines. At least this crap gives her hope and something to do.
Soon - Inag - Trump will be exposed and impeached! Prison! Murdered! Death! all of the things you gulag leftists dream about.

Leland म्हणाले...

Jamie took care of this thread. Yes, Trump and Epstein were pals in the past. Yes, both like women and their feminine form. One liked women at a very young age, and when that became obvious, the other turned FBI informant.

That there are any questions left, they are: Who remained friends after knowing Epstein’s penchant for young women? Did they really know? More importantly, did they partake themselves?

Big Mike म्हणाले...

Why Inga is stupid. Suppose she and the rest of the Democrat nut jobs manage to get rid of Donald Trump? The replacement will not be someone who brings back open borders and high inflation and American jobs sent off to China. The replacement will be JD Vance, and he doesn’t give a shit what dumb assholes like her — or Chuck Schumer of any Dumbocrat between her and Chuck Schumer — think about anything.

Howard म्हणाले...

The signature suggests pubic hair

William50 म्हणाले...

Trump was never an informant for the FBI. Johnson lied.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana) on Sunday backed off his claim that President Donald Trump was an FBI informant in the case of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

RideSpaceMountain म्हणाले...

"Trump is protecting Israel"

He literally said so himself.

"Yeah I’m aware of it. So, Israel is amazing, because, you know, I have good support from Israel. I have. Look, nobody has done more for Israel than I have, including the recent attacks with Iran, wiping that thing out. We, that plane, wiped them out like nobody ever saw before. You know, we got back and CNN was trying to say ‘well, maybe it wasn’t complete,’ and it turned out totally complete, beyond complete. But when, if you go back 20 years. I mean, I will tell you, Israel had the strongest lobby in Congress of anything or body, or of any company or corporation or state that I’ve ever seen. Israel was the strongest." - Trump

Freder Frederson म्हणाले...

Anyone else think Trump's signature would be easy to forge?

And pray tell, who would want to forge Donald Trump's signature (in 2003) in a Birthday book for Jeffery Epstein?

I know, there was a leftie who has mastered time travel, who was able to go back in time to forge a card to Epstein in order to disrupt his presidency 22 years later.

I'm surprised Althouse is not as sharp as you and didn't figure this out.

Peachy म्हणाले...

So Israel paid Epstein and Maxwell to sexually abuse young women/underage girls in order to... gather blackmail goods on people. They snared Prince Andrew? Wow - good catch.

Birches म्हणाले...

That's it?!? The signature is definitely not pubic hair. It would have been higher. It's at the bottom completely separate from the art and message

“People have known Trump palled around with Epstein some years ago. That ended when Epstein started in with the pedophile stuff.”

The real story: Trump went to police and said Epstein was running a whorehouse after Epstein threatened to expose Trump’s laundering $41M for Russian Oligarch Rybolovlev via Palm Beach house purchase.

Trump sold the house to Russian oligarch Dmitry Rybolovlev for a reported $96 million in 2008—never having lived there—and Epstein threatened to sue him. That’s what came between them.

Not the first time Trump sold property to Russians connected to the Kremlin for over value. The brother of the head of the Russian mafia was the first.

No, that's WaPo interpolation. Not a quote. Sorry lefties.

Johnson simply refused to confirm or clarify his prior remarks. He did not disavow, take back, undo, retract or nullify his earlier remarks. NEVER believe a media paraphrase of a conservative. They hate us. Demand actual word-for-word quotes.

Kak makes a good point about the Epstein scandal. The pedophile Island is just the tip of the iceberg. The real cover-up is preventing the exposure of the massive money laundering operation that has helped billionaires not only get away with paying no taxes but in addition are heavily subsidized by governments around the world.

What's up with the different drawing? This was the one that was being posted back in July.

Somebody here, Mark, or Kaka, or Inga please explain to me (coherently) why no progressive political figure has had access to the Epstein files and not released the alleged damming evidence against Trump. Because it is absurd to think they haven't seen them and wouldn't leak them. Everything else is just crying wolf. Don't you wonder why no one believes you?

I'll add, it was an Obama appointed judge who refused to allow their release.

You're going to have to do better than that, Kak.
https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/why-did-a-russian-pay-95m-to-buy-trumps-palm-beach-mansion/

Trump bought the place for $41 million, fixed it up and was asking for $125 Million on the market. What kind of money launderer does that?

And why would a Russian try to bribe Trump in 2008? He was a real estate developer and TV personality. He had nothing to give the Russians. Nobody expected that he would run for President, let alone be elected, at that time.

Also--how much does that NY judge think it was worth?

I think it's hilarious that the AI "forensic analysis" has to characterize the note as "sophisticated" and "structurally tight" and so forth - in contrast to Trump's being "simplistic" and "structurally loose" - in order to make its point. Among all the ways to contrast the note to Trump's very well documented writing style, they still had to editorialize to try to make Trump look like a buffoon instead of whoever wrote this lame wink-wink drivel.

Its point is, of course, self-evident: there's literally nothing about this piece of paper that points to Trump except the presence of the signature (anybody remember, btw, when the note was first described in the press and the signature was called sqiggly or looping or curly, "like pubic hair"?).

Also, does anybody remember the days when the executive secretary could "do" the boss's signature as well as he could? And has anybody ever done a window forgery?

Ordinary voters have no idea what a Gini coefficient is, or why it should matter. But they love a murder mystery, and they will read about Epstein, and they are incidentally learning about a lot of things that the billionaires would prefer they didn't learn about.

Trump seems to be in a frenzy of activity to divert attention from Epstein, but the story is not going away. Someone is going to have a lot of fun fuelling the fire by carefully trickling out leak after damaging leak. Trump has a lot of enemies, but the one who stands most to gain from the Epstein scandal is JD Vance, who has the huge advantage that he never met Epstein, and never will. Well, *probably* will never: with a conspiracy this deep, who really knows?

We are living in an era of widespread impunity, and those in leadership positions must either work to reverse this trend or face growing public outrage.

We are living in an era of widespread impunity, and those in leadership positions must either work to reverse this trend or face growing public outrage.

The salutary example set by the people of Nepal today is worthy of note.

I would like to live in a world where every politician and other so-called public "servant" knows he is nothing but untrusted hired help, and lives in constant fear of being dragged into the street by a mob, there to be beaten, horsewhipped or worse, if justified by malfeasance or corruption or other machinations for personal or political gain.

Kakistocracy म्हणाले...

↑ Yes, they’re not messing about -- burning down government buildings and politicians’ houses. Big question is where they go next though -- someone has to be in charge and the issue is surely that changing the faces isn’t enough. The Maoists did that but turned out to be just as corrupt.

Christopher B म्हणाले...

Original Mike, that doesn't surprise me in the slightest. When the text was originally published I remember reading a comment (I think) that the phrases read more like somebody doing a parody of what they thought Trump would say to Epstein. It had an odd not-quite third-person quality.
