Musk did enter the country illegally from Canada the first time. He was a legal resident of Canada at the time.
He has since regularized any illegalities and become a citizen.
As for "parasite"? Yeah govt pays him a lot of money. Bernie says it is $8mm per day. But not in subsidies, in payments for services rendered like rockets and satellite links. Which he does at a fraction of the cost anyone else can do it.
And he can do it, which Boeing, Blue Origin, NASA and others don't seem to be able to.
Maybe he should stop selling to govt and make them rely on NASA.
Tesla got a loan which they paid back with interest but I don't think they have gotten any other subsidies. Unlike other car companies.

In December plans were approved to develop a spaceport at the former Naval Station Roosevelt Roads. This has been talked about for a dozen years, which is why I registered puertoricospaceport.com originally. Maybe it will be worth something.
I own a nice vacant lot, maybe Elon will buy it and become my neighbor.

You can do both things. They aren't mutually exclusive. Cut Medicaid for ILLEGAL aliens and keep the program for US citizens. Cut Medicaid fraud. Trim down the bloated and top heavy bureaucrats and redundant positions. Cutting these things without cutting the actual funding of the program would then leave more funds available for those who truly deserve and QUALIFY for the program.

If a hypothetical government program (call it 'Medicaid' for short) is spending (say) $100 billion a year, and (for example) 10% of that is going to fraudulent recipients, it is absolutely possible to cut total spending 10% a year without cutting benefits to any of the legitimate recipients at all. It's amazing that DINKY DAU 45 doesn't understand this simple fact. Or is s/he just pretending not to understand?
You may recall that not long ago, Elon Musk was ready to go all scorched-Earth in defense of the H-1B scam, along with his good-good buddy Vivek Salamaswami. Bannon called bullshit. I am guessing that Elon discussed the matter with an older guy he's been hanging around with lately, and decided to drop it. Watching Elon actually getting this thing done, this thing that Bannon and so many have talked about getting done for so long.

Musk is by far the wealthiest man on the planet. He could have quite easily thrown a tiny portion of his wealth and his public support to the recently deposed regime, or merely kept quiet, and quadrupled that wealth. Instead he quite literally stuck his neck out in support of a cause that he believes in.

Steve's just pissed that nobody wants to let him carry their water. Maybe a haircut and a visit to the dentist would change Trump's mind, but I hope not. He's an amateur and a political operative who got in over his head, decided to become a grifter, and now needs to keep his new non-official position of being a magnet for attracting and thus exposing other people grifting and harming the real old TEA movement. I've heard he was really living it up on our donations in Europe and with that silly rapping Chinese billionaire. Good for him for his work exposing the centrality of China in our problems, though -- credit where credit is due.
Temujin, Bannon lied every single day to naive elderly conservatives on his radio show here in Georgia, warning them to not vote or else their votes would get stolen! What garbage behavior. Then, for the last five minutes of the show, he'd take a "random" call from a woman who reiterated her decision to not vote and made up lies about Kelly Loeffler, who was singlehandedly trying to pass a great speech protection bill and protect girls' sports in the Senate. The result was that foolish conservatives stayed home in big numbers from the Senate races, Republicans Loeffler and David Perdue were out, and we got deeply radical democrats Warnock and Ossoff, who otherwise would not have won. The entire Senate flipped from red to blue because of Bannon in Georgia. The damage Bannon did has been incalculable. Our other Senator, David Perdue, was a RINO, but who cares? Warnock is better? A smart, Marxist minister from MLK's old pulpit being groomed to run for at least VP? At least Perdue voted right. Loeffler is now running the SBA, magnificent choice. And that "random" caller on Bannon's show every frigging day sure sounded a lot like Jenny Beth Martin, another Bannon pal and big grifter. They need to go away, and people need to stop being so damn naive.

My dioceses' Medicaid for illegals program in St. Pete got busted triple-dipping Medicaid funds. That's Florida -- and a certain lawsuit-paying Archbishop -- for you.
That type of fraud is worse in Florida than any other state. California and New York and Chicago/Illinois come close, for the same reasons. Then there's the billions spent on idiot and redundant "AIDS and hate speech and gun violence public education" nonsense portion paid by the agency; Medicaid for druggies who pump it into their arms then need reviving, sometimes more than once a day; sticking every poor kid on Medicaid for "ADHD" and giving them personal school aides because they misbehave -- cash which has largely replaced welfare -- and pumping them full of drugs instead of enforcing school discipline because that's against the law now, and so on.
