Nice, not nice, this ain't Roadhouse. The only thing that matters in this election, just like the last election, is the mail-in ballot harvesting. If Elon ain't ponying up 45 million a month for that "get out the vote effort" and the Repubs don't do it themselves, then Trump loses in November. Maybe he loses by just a few thousand votes in PA and MI and WI and GA, again, but he loses. He needs to campaign, sure, but what he really needs to do is harvest mail-in ballots.
And he was shot by a registered "Republican" Biden supporter. Apparently Crooks had an account on Gab that the 3 letter agencies failed to uncover and scrub.
A Gab account?? Who do you know that would even acknowledge Gab, let alone try to troll it? And Torba would LOVE to have exposed this fast, assuming it's anything but a psyop.
Though I am grateful that Trump is against the civility nonsense. I would prefer him to announce that Mueller, Wray, and Comey are all going to swing, but I understand why he wants to look like the stable candidate. For now.
There is this children's book where 7 blind men find an elephant. One of them thinks elephants are pointy because he finds the tusk. One thinks elephants are snakey because he finds the trunk. One thinks elephants are like a wall because he found the side of the elephant. You get the idea.
After Reagan was president the blind (I typed bland, faux pax or no?) men of the Republican party all thought they knew what Reagan was and they tried to be that ONE thing. Some were tax cuts at all costs. Some were defense!defense!defense! Some were stand up to commies. None of them were Reagan.
All of the blind men(and women) of the democrat party think Trump is a fascist nazi penis-potatoe, I mean dictator because all they managed to find were Journolist fever-dream fan fiction screeds masquerading as Washington Post articles.
Whether he wins the election in 2024 or not at some point in the future some blind "elite" is going to stumble onto the notion that Trump was able to speak to millions of people because they were able to understand what he meant instead of what he said. And in true form that "elite" reporter will conclude despite the evidence to the contrary that those multitudes are dumber than he is.
If Trump is able to get enough votes to beat the margin of fraud and is President on January 20, 2025 the world would be a better place if the democrats of all stripes just engaged with Trump on the issues. I have always believed the Trump would compromise on many things, including items near and dear to republican (elites and voters) hearts and that democrats would get more things from Trump than they got from Biden or Obama. But as the "elite reporter" referenced above all of the 2025 democrats will conclude with ontological certainty backed by New York Times seal of approval that would be the dumb thing to do.
Trump is able to appeal to tens of millions because he isn't gaslighting garbage working for a cabal of New York oligarchs. The quality of left-wing culture has absolutely plummeted, even by the terrible standards of the Obama era. The left can't meme, and now they are paying the price.
He's got an attack dog now with Vance. Let him handle the heavy artillery.
Like we were talking about yesterday regarding the golfing video with Trump and DeChambeau, he has a warm, comical, genial side that comes out when he is not in front of an audience. I say it's time for him to cultivate that demeanor from now until the election.
Anyone got a solid idea about what's going to happen at the Dem convention? Is it going to be a coronation or mud wrestling? I don't understand how the "electors" can transfer their Biden votes to Harris without some kind of mess. Of course the Dems consistently change the rules to suit the occasion so I won't be surprised at anything. I DO suspect that there are still a bunch of people who think Harris is a bad choice.
As an aside I don't understand how even a non-observant Jew could vote for Harris or any other Dem. To me it's a bit like trying to get to the head of the line for the train to Auschwitz.
A significant part of Trumps appeal to his supporters has always been his willingness to fight back, to punch back harder when attacked, a willingness to be "not nice", a stark difference to the GWB and Romney approach of being above that.
It was a pleasure to finally have a Republican candidate willing and able to take the gloves off.
I think we tend to exaggerate the importance of Trump's rhetoric. First, when he's doing a rally, a lot of what he's doing is schtick. He's entertaining the crowd, not entirely unlike Hulk Hogan at the GOP convention. There's an element of self-parody to it.
Second, who cares? In 2016, the dems and never-Trumpers went after Trump relentlessly based on his supposedly beyond-the-pale statements and style of expression. At the end of the day, however, America elected him because they saw someone with a good set of policies and the brass to take on the powerful people who stood in opposition to his program. Now it's eight years later and we are certainly so inured to Trump's rhetorical excesses that it amazes me anybody is still paying attention to them.

What I have heard mentioned is that even though the delegates are pledged, there is a "conscience clause" that does allow delegates to transfer their vote to another candidate. Not sure how it works or if it is effective on the first ballot, however.

But this time there will be fewer Chicagfo cops and Cook County Sheriffs deputies. Inside it will like 2016 when Hillary stole the nomination from Bernie.

The left being nice was Crooks missing. That was as good as it will get.

If he had an account on Gab- he had other social media presence. Sure would be nice to see it, wouldn't it?

You should've never "been nice", but at least the procrastinator has seen the sun.

And Torba HAS exposed Crooks, at the NY Post.
Good for him. His business is over if it's just a stunt, but he's put a lot of effort into being legit. Tough luck, BlueAnon.

He is going to hold his fire until she is the nominee.
Obama and BLM are publicly not on board.
Soros is pushing for Kamala. The people that own the media are pushing for Kamala.
The dust has not settled yet.

Space Mountain, how about this bumper sticker:

JSM
So when's the first debate?

Trump has been president and has been shot.
The Dem Higher Ups are nominating her to get rid of her. Her career is over.
