"Her father was a notions wholesaler in Frankfurt, and together with her parents and grandmother, she lived a comfortable life largely shielded from the reality..."

When the Nazis took her father away in 1938, her mother and grandmother managed to get her included in a group of children sent to a school in the Swiss mountains. She never saw her family again; they were all presumed murdered at Auschwitz."

One of my favorite History profs was a Jew who escaped Nazi Germany with his family by showing up at the Swiss border in their big-ass Mercedes and trading it to a border guard for their freedom.
What a day to die - the poor thing.
According to the Celebrity Death Rule of Three, Dr Ruth completes the trio, with Richard Simmons and Shelley Duvall. So Trump was superfluous, and was therefore always going to survive.
I didn't know she was still with us. She was huge, back in the day. Frank Miller put a cameo of her in The Dark Knight Returns, way back in 1986. I wasn't aware of her tragic background.
Ruth was only 4 feet, 6 inches tall and this is apparently the primary reason why she was trained as a sniper in Haganah
