CNN abruptly cut Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt from the air Monday morning.... Anchor Kasie Hunt pulled the plug just minutes after the interview got underway after asking Leavitt what former President Donald Trump’s strategy was for when he takes to the stage in Atlanta, Ga. on Thursday....
The spokeswoman... noted the debate stage would likely be a “hostile environment” for her boss – and accused CNN’s debate moderators, co-hosts Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, of biased coverage of him in the past....
In overreacting to the mention of CNN bias, CNN's Hunt showed bias. Now, we're all looking at this clip, and I doubt if much of anyone was watching whatever little CNN show that was. I had to look it up: "CNN This Morning with Kasie Hunt." But maybe that helps CNN. I believe the show has about 50,000 viewers, and there are sure to be Trump haters who love this plug-pull.

I was in Milan on a business trip when the USA bombed Qaddafi in his tent. I was in my hotel room getting ready to go to the airport to fly back to the States. I was listening to CNN on the television. They warned that attacks on Americans in airports in Europe were likely that day. I timed my cab ride to the airport such that I could pretty much scoot through the security and boarding procedures with the least possible time in the airport.
But that was long ago when CNN was (a) useful, and (b) was a news rather than an opinion organization.
CNN is just DNC news and has been since 2015. I guess this is the daily reminder and will help the Dumbos remember that CNN is not an objective news network but in the tank for the Democrats and Joe Biden.

To the claim Trump might skip the debate, in addition to the list provided by Drago, Trump had an excellent reason to decline a debate series not organized by the Presidential Debate Commission since the Democrats have been attacking the GOP for wanting to change the PDC format, and feel silent when Biden summarily ditched it. I've been hearing for years that Trump was going to duck debates but he only missed one due to COVID and then declined to participate in the 2024 GOP primary debates for obvious tactical reasons, just like Biden.

Tape? Well I guess there is no easy replacement for the term. There's always a control room for a broadcast.
It's all digital, the equipment is compact and being on a ten-second delay it's not hard at all to "skip forward" a couple seconds over any small Biden gaffes as long as there's always one camera on the moderators (but they'll have at least two) to cut to. And with CNN-DNC controlling Trump's mic there will be little indication to the home audience (no one there live of course). Unless Joe freezes for an extended time. If we are suddenly thrust into an awkward commercial break it will be the genesis of many a conspiracy theory. He has been quite hinky lately and prone to freeze-ups.
There will be theories and "analysis" for sure. Because no one trusts CNN, or Biden or the moderators. Our best hope is that one of Trump's staff has a tiny go-pro camera and they are getting ALL of it "on tape."

It’s like an arcade. Sometimes like whack-a-mole but more often like an old time shooting gallery with BB guns shooting at the moving targets on a revolving track (These days it’s done with lasers).
