This is an interesting and ingenious person. Who is she and what is she doing now? They're not telling.

"There was some flooring that was laid down. A mini desk. Her clothing. A Keurig coffee maker. A printer and a computer – things you’d have in your home."
Said a police spokesman, quoted in "Michigan woman found living inside rooftop store sign with desk and coffee maker/The woman told police she had been living inside the grocery store sign for roughly a year, and had been able to get electricity" (The Guardian).
"I honestly don’t know how she was getting up there. She didn’t indicate, either."

It’s a sign of the times?
I just found it on Zillow!
I had a Bulgarian friend in London who made himself a little apartment in a storage room in the basement of a south London block of flats where he had worked briefly. He had power and Internet and a bed, but no windows of course. He managed to live down there for almost two years before someone figured it out. He was happy as can be with the place. These days, it would probably rent for 150 pounds / week.
You can’t get this kind of reporting in the America media.
“Ensuring there is ample safe, affordable housing continues to be a widespread issue nationwide that our community needs to partner in solving,” Adrienne Chance said, declining further comment.
what we need is more Biden economics .
for almost year >> how survivable is winter north of Detroit?
is it likely store heating gets warm air rising into sign?
"how survivable is winter north of Detroit?"
She had an extension cord and enough power to run her computer. She could have had a space heater and an electric blanket.
She's hired.

What is the purpose of a "sign room"...an empty sign room?
Wince wins the thread!
It looks more like an attic-type space with a sign front than what I had originally pictured in my head as "inside a sign". How did she get the desk up there?
Life in Biden's America.

Did they actually help this one real woman to find housing she could afford? Or did they just issue that press release? Was she a writer? A poet maybe? or a writer, keeping a diary of what she saw looking down at the parking lot as people came in and dreaming up short stories. Or the great 21C American novel. A Place in the Neon.
The quotes sound a little scripted.
No mention of where she went to the bathroom?
But did she sleep with Trump? And how did he report the transaction in his check book? Inquiring minds want to know!
