Agree. Not at all analogous. But it did get Ramaswamy a smidgen of attention, which he desperately needs.

Here I disagree, because it was no handoff, a word that makes it sound like a king to his heir. Their Secretaries of State won their presidential elections and of course were among the greatest of our founding generation. Highly qualified, well-regarded, and recognized by their countrymen as such.

And right now, we need their wisdom more than ever. Too many idiots willing to throw it away recklessly so they can keep on grifting.
