Writes Trump, at Truth Social, just now.
I have been summoned to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami on Tuesday, at 3 PM. I never thought it possible that such a thing could happen to a former President of the United States, who received far more votes than any sitting President in the History of our Country, and is currently leading, by far, all Candidates, both Democrat and Republican, in Polls of the 2024 Presidential Election. I AM AN INNOCENT MAN!
This is indeed a DARK DAY for the United States of America. We are a Country in serious and rapid Decline, but together we will Make America Great Again!

.....and that's why I'm voting Trump.
Why would anyone vote for that Democrat racketeering organization? I mean Biden, and Harris are complete idiots. Who in the hell is running the country????
I'm torn. On one hand, it's ridiculously unjust unless Biden is also indicted for same.
On the other hand, I'm okay with it unless it boomerangs and brings him more campaign support, which in itself would be a crime.

On Jesse tonight, Judge Janine seethed her way through her judicial commentary.
If the GOP had any balls and any honor, articles of impeachment against Joe Biden would be voted on tomorrow morning for his mishandling of classified documents.
But they won't. And they'll get snotty about how we have to turn out to vote for them because it's too important.
@missmayam I don't know who Kamala Harris is, but I'll take "the republic is dead" for $1000 please.
The Rubicon was crossed last year with the raid on his estate- this is just the marching into Rome.
We are full-fledged banana republic now, with political persecutions the norm in one direction. The Republican Party, if it wishes to remain an actual opposition party the Democrats, even if only as a facade of one, will have to start playing this game of indicting their political opponents, too, otherwise it is just a surrender of the republic to one-party rule.
President had possession of classified documents in certified storage, but did he redistribute?
VP had possession of classified documents in his cluttered garage, and he may have redistributed to gain friends and influence nations.
SoS had possession of classified documents in her water closet server, and she did redistribute for profit and leverage.
Oh whoa is him. Poor innocent lamb.
Indicted in Florida? So when he is convicted at least I won't have to hear all the whining about unfair D.C. juries. But I'm sure you will find plenty else to whine about. Because the possibility that he in fact is guilty is ... not possible.
Will he be joining Tara Reade soon?
CBS preempted the entire second half of Jeopardy. They said he might appear before a judge he appointed. I don't know if they also said he might be tried by a judge appointed by his opponent because I muted after the first two minutes.
Supposedly, the Southern District of FL has a rocket criminal docket.
I knew this day was coming, but still hard to believe.
Same day we learn that there’s credible evidence the Biden Crime Family was paid $10m while Joe was VP.
Hillary Clinton had a server trafficking classified material to every country in the world, no indictment. Joe Biden stored classified material from his days as VP at a Chinese financed think tank closet and in his garage, no indictment. Trump, who had constitutional authority to set document classification, indicted. I still say a coup happened but it wasn't initiated by Trump.
Not worried though, the bar is being set.
Eric Holder predicting two more indictments of Trump.
Full court press with 10 players on defense.
MAGAts are in tears, the wheels of justice must be turning.
Maybe another insurrection attempt will make everybody feel better.
Dershowitz not guilty of possession or criminal obstruction of justice. It's your right to resist the government, 5th and 6th amendment. The defendant does not have to cooperate.
Jack Smith needs to re-read (or perhaps read for the first time) Justice Robert H. Jackson's "The Federal Prosecutor"
Mr. Wibble whined: "If the GOP had any balls and any honor, articles of impeachment against Joe Biden would be voted on tomorrow morning for his mishandling of classified documents. But they won't.
The GOP just did a deal handing Joe Biden $4 trillion borrowed dollars to spend on NPR, the Kennedy Center, grants for all those Democrat scientists like Fauci, and liberal universities, payoffs to the labor unions for building bridges to nowhere, teacher salary increases. All taxpayer dollars that are then laundered right back into the election treasuries of the Democrat National Committee.
There is no opposition party in the United States.
Joe Biden has made us one nation, under him.
He is a God among men.
Time for my first donation to Trump in years. Only way I can vote on this. Not quite the Reign of Terror but it's up there.
I'm glade we finally have action.
Now I cant wait to see who claims they have the power to overrule Trumps statement that everything he had, he declassified. That includes National Defense intelligence. The corrupt DoJ is attempting to claim the President cant declassify those documents because Defense documents are not classified, and fall under some different undefinable category. Ignoring the President is CoC
And in other news:
In March 2022, an FBI Special Agent sent Twitter a list of accounts on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Ukraine's main intelligence agency. The accounts, the FBI wrote, "are suspected by the SBU in spreading fear and disinformation." In an attached memo, the SBU asked Twitter to remove the accounts and hand over their user data.
The Ukrainian government's FBI-enabled targets extend to members of the media.
The confidential FBI Burisma report as well.
I question the timing of the indictment.

Poor Inga doesn't know the difference between "woe" and "whoa". If "whoa is him" meant anything at all, it would mean something like "stop him", which is indeed what they're trying to do.
Today more history made as the 1st federal indictment of a previous president in the US.
This is the 2nd indictment (one local) and there are at least 2 more to go. I have cashed my wager I placed 3 days ago with the charges coming within 10 days of the outset of missing Iran paperwork and obstruction at the minimum. My wager was placed at 8-1 which pays a cool $20 wrappers. I will hope to continue my streak in the weekend Belmont Stakes with ANGEL OF EMPIRE taking home the win. Only the delusional or blind folks could not have seen this coming, and I am interested to see the 7 charges. Will the perp have to wear an ankle bracelet, or surrender his plane as a flight risk or get bail if its espionage? This day will go down in the history books with January 6th, 2x impeached individual and leader of a court adjudicated crime organization with possible RICO charges coming out of Georgia. This will be at least a 2-day stint of study for grandkids reading the books as they go to school (of course unless they ban all the books by then) Remember Bendict Arnold story as a kid ?A sad day for America and now we have become semi equal to the perp in Israel Ben (although somewhat different) as indicted, one as a previous world leader and the other still doing it. It will be the VICTIM scenario for next year now until the trial (fundraising also and they will send their $$$ in) Yup the whole world is watching. Pray for this tore up country of which I proudly served in 64-72.A GOP nominee with an ankle bracelet, wouldnt have believed it back then. :( Yes margaret "the walls are closing in"
"I knew this day was coming, but still hard to believe."
What's so hard to believe? You commit a lot of crimes, every so often you get caught.
"Whoa", Inga? That comment makes no sense. Are you saying that you think this will stop him or even slow him down?
I think this just makes him stronger.
OTOH, the FBI director said the other day that Brandon & Co might stoop to assasination. Could they be thinking of murdering our President Emeritus?
What happens when Brandon muses "Will no one rid me of this troublesome politician?"
(The FBI guy claimed that the informant behind the Burisma report might be murdered if Congress got to see the report. Someone needs to ask who he thought might carry this out. Seems like it could only be Brandon & Co who would have an interest in this happening.)
John LGBTQ Henry
Do you think this means the walls are closing in, Inga?
For the 9,748th time.
It may happen sometime. Not in our grandchildren's lifetimes, I suspect.

"Indicted in Florida?"
Miami, I worked there recently. Do you know what they have in Miami? Cubans. Lots and lots of cubans... It wouldn't surprise me much if that Fed Courthouse burned down this weekend.
Sad!
What's next? Related MAL indictments for obstructing DC grand jury or the Georgia state indictments for election interference?

This is indeed a DARK DAY for the United States of America.
But frankly I'm all tired out about the Trump drama. Not much outrage for him personally.
He's on his own on this.
Meanwhile the FBI meeting with the committee was leaked and details just so much corruption.
President Joe Biden was allegedly paid $5 million by an executive of the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, where his son Hunter Biden sat on the board, a confidential human source told the FBI during a June 2020 interview, sources familiar told Fox News Digital.
The sources briefed Fox News Digital on the contents of the FBI-generated FD-1023 form alleging a criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national that involved influence over U.S. policy decisions.
The FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020, is the FBI's interview with a "highly credible" confidential source who detailed multiple meetings and conversations he or she had with a top Burisma executive over the course of several years, starting in 2015. Fox News Digital has not seen the form, but it was described by several sources who are aware of its contents.
The indictment of Trump is a 'oh look a squirrel' moment.
Mr Wibble: "If the GOP had any balls and any honor, articles of impeachment against Joe Biden would be voted on tomorrow morning for his mishandling of classified documents."
At least half, and probably more than that, of the elected "republicans" in DC are fully aligned with what the democraticals are doing as evidenced by their actions and inactions.

Hilarious!
They must be worried about the Biden bribery probe.
Dave Begley: "Supposedly, the Southern District of FL has a rocket criminal docket."
This latest hoaxed up BS just happens to come at the moment when the FBI has been exposed as lying about the investigation and testimony by the trusted (10 years) FBI CHS documented on official forms...from back in 2017 to present!!!
Forms that Wray at first pretended did not exist, but then was called out by Grassley and Comer who told Wray they had already seen a specific form, and perhaps others, which caused Wray to fess up and admit it exists.
$10M....all from Ukrainian interests....and tied to the firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor (under pressure by "the big guy") that was investigating Burisma.
Can you imagine how easy it would be to track the transfer of $10M thru the Biden family shell companies....so easy the FBI had to work hard to avoid doing it.
So that's why the Trump indictment was accelerated. Every single time its to provide cover for what the dems and some GOPe-ers are actually doing.
But only every single time.
I don't care for Trump - but this is all a pack of corrupt crap.
Hillary and Biden did much worse and are above the law. We are a banana republic now.
I'm torn. On one hand, it's ridiculously unjust unless Biden is also indicted for same.
On the other hand, I'm okay with it unless it boomerangs and brings him more campaign support, which in itself would be a crime.
You should have quit while you were ahead with your first line. Whatever one's feelings about Trump as a person or as a candidate, anyone who cares about the rule of law, and therefore about the survival of the republic, should be outraged by this. Basing it on politics is what Democrats do.
Just to be Clear.. Democrats CAN NOT BE CHARGED WITH CRIMES.. EVER
They sure don’t act as if they’re accountable to voters, Ann…
Both sides can play.
Simply a political prosecution.
We've had this battle before in our history; we won then and we can do it again.
Wayback, a long time ago the whole Parliamentary/Congressional system as we know it came into being when the Court party in England tried make England an absolutist state. At that time, around 1600, all the other European states were going absolutist. And King Charles I with his Court favorites tried to impose absolutism on England. There was taxation through regulation; there were political trials and political imprisonments. But the English battled through into retaining their liberties. Part of America's founding is its part in that history because the Puritans did the heavy lifting in the struggle as well as founding colonies of refuge in Massachusetts and Virginia. Needless to say these colonies took the side of liberty and were as determined as the English to retain it. So we're just circling back to the battles fought by our founding fathers. Maybe we can understand them better when we have to take the same risks to defend the same freedoms against the same bunch that wants absolute power. In this struggle which will be a struggle for America we will be joined by all the groups besides the English who are here now and this will forge a similar but wider identity still based on citizens who defend their rights.
And it starts with sticking up for Trump who is being persecuted because he stood up for us.

If they can convict him on something...anything, then at least a few states will refuse to allow his name on the ballot at election time. The DNC won't even have to cheat next time.
Jack Smith is not a member of the Biden Administration. He is a career DOJ lawyer who accepted the position of Special Counsel, just as Robert Mueller accepted a similar position during the Trump administration and nobody has ever declared that Trump was his boss.
But Trump obviously believed that failed Special Counsel John Durham was a member of his administration charged with investigating the FBI investigators that found the relationship between Trump's campaign and the Russians.
So Trump tells another run-on set of lies because he cannot help himself. He has no defense against the Espionage Act charges. Flooding the Miami courtroom won't work either.

Water, water, everywhere,

No, he isn't, Bender. Anyone who opposes the uni-party in D.C. is in this with him, now and in the future. He won't be the last one corruptly indicted because of his politics. Take a good fucking look at the comments above by Jim53IQ, Igna, Mutantman, Readering, Leftbank above- those are the opinions of the political class running the country and its justice system. They don't even believe themselves Trump was indicted justly- they are delighted that he is being lynched, and when you or yours are up against the wall, they will still be delighted knowing that you couldn't even be bothered to be outraged tonight.
There is going to be a lot of "First they came for Trump and I did not speak out because I was not a Trump supporter...." in the very near future.
Good thing we don’t live in an authoritarian country!
I am somewhat ambivalent about Trump. Might vote for him, might not. This indictment could very well insure his reelection. Talk about irony!

As if we didn't know it was coming, DeSantis offers up a milquetoast response to the indictment and is overpowered by the responses from Kevin McCarthy and basically everyone else.
Not surprising really, given the Weissman/Eisen-driven lawfare removal of Trump from the race is literally the DeSantis "campaign" strategy. I mean, how upset can he really be?
Meanwhile, there are toasts being raised in the US Senate offices of Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer this evening. Also not surprising, since Schumer himself told us he and Mitch share precisely the same vision for the republican party.
Truer words have never been spoken.

Trump lawyer Jim Trusty says that based on the summons, there are seven crimes charged:
18 USC 793(e): hoarding (and possibly disseminating) stolen classified documents
18 USC 1512(k): conspiracy to obstruct justice
18 USC 1512(b)(2)(a): inducing someone to withhold testimony (possibly asking Nauta to withhold testimony, or setting Evan Corcoran up to make incorrect statements)
18 USC 1512(c)(1): concealing a document (possibly altering surveillance video)
18 USC 1519: concealing a document (probably for hiding docs from Evan Corcoran)
18 USC 1001(a)(1): concealing a material fact (possibly false statements to NARA and DOJ)
18 USC 1001(a)(2): false statement
Penalty for Espionage Act (18 USC 793(e)) - Up to 10 years imprisonment. Lock him up! FPC Pensacola is ranked #2 among the cushiest prisons in the U.S.

@VivekGRamaswamy
We can’t have two tiers of justice: one for Trump, another for Biden. One for Assange, another for Manning. One for BLM/Antifa, another for peaceful protesters on Jan 6.
I never thought we’d see the day when the U.S. President deputizes the DOJ to arrest his lead rival in the middle of an election. Obama shamefully tried to deputize the FBI to infiltrate Trump’s 2016 campaign, but they’re leaving nothing to chance this time around: the federal police state is outright arresting Trump.
This is an affront to every citizen: we cannot devolve into a banana republic where the party in power uses police force to arrest its political opponents. It’s hypocritical for the DOJ to selectively prosecute Trump but not Biden.
There are also serious legal questions about the President’s power to declassify documents and the potential illegality of the over-classification of federal documents in the first place. That’s for the courts to decide, but we the people decide who governs this nation.
It would be much easier for me to win this election if Trump weren’t in the race, but I stand for principles over politics. I commit to pardon Trump promptly on January 20, 2025 and to restore the rule of law in our country.

Biden's political survival hinges on getting Trump nominated.

No, Jim, we have not forgotten the guy who ran for President featuring 'lock her up' chants at rallies when talking about his opponent.
The horse has been out of the barn for 7 years and now you are in hysterics that the DOJ actions feel political to you?
As 2020 Trump supporters were so eager to say, 'fuck your feelings'.
"John Durham released his report on the alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election. Durham concluded there was no Russian collusion. He confirms that the Russian narrative was a disinformation operation run by the unelected Deep State, including the FBI and others on behalf of the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. Durham did not pursue Hillary Clinton's involvement or the source of the damaging DNC hack. If it wasn't the Russians, who was it? Seth Rich, perhaps? The FBI has deep-sixed Rich's laptop, too. Was Rich murdered to protect the false Russian Collusion narrative?
Durham did not recommend filing any criminal charges as the FBI implemented policies and procedures to prevent future occurrences. I'm not that naïve. Without individual accountability, there can be no reform. In my opinion, Durham did document well the failures of the FBI and others but did not follow the evidence where it led to its logical conclusion to prosecute the crimes committed by the FBI, DOJ, and others."

@Mark (6:46), is that what this is about? You assholes are still butt-hurt over Hillary Clinton, and the fact that so many of us Normals believe that she certainly should not be allowed to ignore the law, much less be allowed to act as though she’s above it.
I will reserve comment on the indictment itself until it is actually released. Right now all we know is that there is an indictment. Trump and the tRump Swabs are using the limited info to try to establish a narrative.

At some point the tRump Swabs are going to have to understand that Trump is unelectable.
People have made up their minds on Trump:
1. There are the tRump Swabs who will vote for him no matter what. Hell, if Trump came out in support of Minor Attracted Persons I good number of his supporters would join NAMBLA.
2. There are the Trump haters who will not vote for him under any circumstances. Thus is comprised of all Democrats and most independents.
3. There are Republicans who will vote for Trump out of obligation but would rather have somebody else as the nominee.
Groups 1+3 comprise about 46% of the electorate. Group 2 voted for an obviously diminished Biden in 2020. That will not change.
The problem here is that the things the tRump Swabs love about Trump are the same things that independents hate about Trump.
There is nothing Trump has done since November of 2020 done that has converted any Biden voter to Trump in 2024.
The man is likely to be battling 3 criminal indictments in an election year. He has a passionate following that might be able to get him the Republican nomination but there is no way a majority of the voters want to go through all that drama for the next 5 years.
The tRump Swabs have a dilemma. They can stick with Trump and go down with the ship or they can move on in order to turn back the Democrats. If you want the GND implemented support Trump. If you want gender ideology to Triumph support Trump. If you want CRT further integrated into all aspects of American life support Trump. If you want reparations support Trump. If you want more censorship support Trump. If you like the DOJ categorizing normal Americans as terrorists and white supremacists support Trump. If you like unfettered illegal immigration support Trump. If you want elections federalized support Trump. If you want SCOTUS packed support Trump. If you want the states of PR and DC support Trump.
As I said, the tRump Swabs are faced with a dilemma. Who/what do they love more, Donald Trump or America? Based on what I am seeing I am not hopeful. When you get beyond the flag waving it is quite evident that the tRump Swabs hate America as much as the Progressives do.
As the House continues its investigation into Hunter Biden, just remember this:
18 USC 1512(k): conspiracy to obstruct justice
we have not forgotten the guy who ran for President featuring 'lock her up' chants at rallies
You lying weasels never learn, Mark. You are referring to the PEOPLE who cried out for Justice because they saw Comey dismiss charges without even acknowledging all the laws Clinton and her staff broke, including obstructing justice by destroying evidence. Of course you agree with injustice that serves your fascist hate cult called Democrats. But you further imply Trump had some agency in these spontaneous cries for Justice from his supporters. I respectfully request that you refrain from the "lock her up" bullshit until you post a video of Trump actually saying it. Otherwise your just another smear merchant like Inga or WaPo or Schiff or the Times.
As I said, the tRump Swabs are faced with a dilemma. Who/what do they love more, Donald Trump or America? Based on what I am seeing I am not hopeful. When you get beyond the flag waving it is quite evident that the tRump Swabs hate America as much as the Progressives do.

Just join the Progressive party already. YOU are no better than them with your degrading of people that think differently than you do. Continue to cave to them, and then wonder why nothing ever changes. People like you are the reason we got Trump. Traitors.
No, Jim, we have not forgotten the guy who ran for President featuring 'lock her up' chants at rallies when talking about his opponent.
And did he lock her up, you stupid fuck? No. He didn't even bring charges.
Like I said, careful what you wish for. And maybe crack open a history book to see what's coming down the pike.
AMDG: "1. There are the tRump Swabs who will vote for him no matter what. Hell, if Trump came out in support of Minor Attracted Persons I good number of his supporters would join NAMBLA."
This is the reason the GOPe-ers are not trusted and will never be trusted again.
Then why aren't they prosecuting DeSantis?
The history books I crack open tell me that the Know Nothings haven't been too successful in the court room. Free advice: come up with a prosecutor more competent than Durham.
