"The only research I did out of curiosity was I googled it. I remember my general counsel asking me if we wanted him to do extensive research on it. I said, no, not at this point."
Said Steven Mnuchin, quoted "Jan. 6 transcript: Mnuchin briefly discussed 25th Amendment removal of Trump" (The Hill).
"We both believed" referred to Mnuchin and Mike Pompeo.

If they think Trump should have been removed with the 25th...Joe Biden should have been removed with that 2 years ago. What a bunch of bullshit. Trump was better at their jobs then they are, and they can't have the American people knowing that they don't do SHIT, except steal our money and send it to foreign countries and let illegals invade our country. They all suck.
HOW would THAT have worked? Have these people EVER Read the 25th Amendment?
When Trump Contested it;
it would take a two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge his duties
THAT is MORE than it takes to Impeach and remove a President (it only takes a majority of the House to Impeach, and 2/3rds of the Senate to Remove.
ANYONE that thinks the 25th Amendment is some easy way out, is Standing on a hill, screaming:
"I'VE NEVER READ THE 25TH AMENDMENT!!"

THANK YOU! I can't count the number of times I've rolled my eyes as someone starts in about how Biden would be removed via the 25th. It doesn't remove him. It only strips him of his powers and gives those to the VP as "Acting President" until he says that he is fit to serve again. In fact, I'm not even sure that the vote in Congress is permanent; the text only says that the VP would continue to discharge the powers as acting president. Would Biden and his handlers be able to submit a new letter every day, forcing a daily vote by Congress?
There are a number of such people who will say anything to get left alone. That sounds like an example.
Gilbar, read it again.
Section 4
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
You are correct about the Congressional vote but that only takes effect after a delay of up to 21 days if requested by the President so Congress could have simply sat on it until Trump's term expired.
If everything people googled were something they seriously intended doing, the world would be an even worse place than it is.
Time for a 25th Amendment removal of Biden. In fact long past time.
And we hope SCOTUS's ruling this week on the border will be a start to show he has failed to protect the US. Willfully failed.
Pelosi was talking to a general at the pentagon. Joint Chiefs of staff I recall.
As Tucker Carlson recently pointed out, Mike Pompeo was the Director of CIA, and it was at his insistence that Trump did not release the documents related to the CIA and the Kennedy assassination(s). Pompeo is a swamp thing. It's hilarious to watch it pretending to be a human, and especially a Christian human.
The most likely use for the 25th is coming soon as Biden continues to deteriorate. The even scarier part is if Kamala ascends the throne.
Most people don't know that we had an actual coup and need for the 25th (which didn't exist) under Woodrow Wilson. He suffered a stroke and his wife immediately closed off the private residence at the White House and assumed his duties. No one could see him. She signed stuff on his behalf. An actual as opposed to fake "insurrection".
Despite the machinations of Congress, media, activists, etc., Trump ensured a smooth transition of administrations. His sins were to support an audit of funds in Kiev, an audit of rights in China, an audit of votes in America, etc.
We both believed the best outcome was a normal transition of power.
But the fact of the matter remains that the 2020 election and the installation of Joe Biden was NOT a normal transition of power. Mnuchin and Mike Pompeo both knew it. So did Bill Barr...and the Supreme Court...Mike Pence...etc...
We are NEVER going back to the way it was. It is now impossible.
Considering that the 25th Amendment procedure is more strict in its requirements than impeacment, any talk of that was simply ridiculous speculation at best.
Gilbar and Mr. Wibble said it better.
Another case of a Trump official being quoted thoroughly out of context in order to make it appear as if they were desperate to get him out of office. Yes folks, it's true. His own people were terrified of the danger this monster was capable of !!!
Anybody that believes anything out of the Legacy Corporate Mainstream Media deserves all of the abuse they are signing up fo.
Meanwhile Trump is not responding directly to these daily provocations. I noted today on Truth Social he linked to "Here are ten of CNN’s top fake news moments of 2022" Some real doozies. He's keeping his cool, not nearly as "crazy" as the media would like people to believe. Still it's hard for me to imagine how he can keep doing this. (politics)
I've also been noticing on more left leaning threads where there is endless anti-Trump propaganda that people's comments are aghast that Trump would even contemplate running again what with his two impeachments, etc.! I really doubt many if any of those people could describe exactly the high crimes Trump committed to earn those impeachments. I had to Google it:
The first one was because Trump allegedly withheld $391 million in military aid to Ukraine and an invitation to the White House to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy in order to influence Ukraine to announce an investigation into Joe Biden. No investigation and hundreds of billions of unaccounted dollars thanks to Joe.
The second impeachment, a week before Trump's term ended, was Trump's alleged incitement of the "insurgency" on 1/6. First there was an impeachment and then we got the show trial by Congress, which was a bust, imo. That sounds normal, right?
Meanwhile I'm with

Christopher is right, you Could use the 25th, as a sort of 'pocket veto', if it's within 20 some days of the end of the President's term..
..the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.
I guess it'd be like impeaching him AFTER he left office..
But you'd STILL need "a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department" along With the VP; to start it.. AND a majority of the House and 60 in the Senate to keep it from coming to a vote earlier.
Time for a 25th Amendment removal of Biden. In fact long past time.
Kamala Harris: the ultimate in job security.
“In any serious format”
They're forgeting the contribution of an election that could not be audited and was not credible to the peaceful transfer of power.
