That clown hates it when he does that.
Dolly kills.
When I was 13 I would have killed for that drain uncloggimg job.
Unclogging the drain FTW.
Dolly’s the best!
I watch these and I think "Meade should run" then I saw the last one and rethought the whole thing. Then I remembered that you wouldn't go out when it's windy.
World's oldest profession after country music.
Dolly and the drainage!
Well done, neighborhood drain unclogger. Also #2 is adorable.
I expected the drain-unclogger to find himself suddenly waist-deep in a hole.
I'm guessing the interview was about when Best Little Whorehouse in Texas was in theaters. I guess I'll go listen to Hard Candy Christmas.
I will say that the "everyone there has ringworm" line about the Hot Yoga studio made me laugh. FOPU also made me laugh.
The drain guy has a YouTube channel called Post10. A nice decent guy. The TikTok account steals all his vids and uploads them. Post10 deserves better. I recommend his YouTube channel, especially if you want to see someone unclog culverts and drains for 30 minutes at a time.
The Bowie one is from a recurring Conan bit in the 90s..."Celebrity Secrets"...hilarious.
There’s a whole YouTube channel where a fellow’s job is opening up clogged drains. Sometimes he has to clear out huge culverts that are packed pretty tightly with debris. A tough, thankless, job.
Well, at least the little boy didn't claim that a rainbow heralds the birth of a non-binary fox. I'd say that's progress toward a less dark future.
Ha. Best Little Whorehouse was one of three movies I walked out of after 15 minutes. Totally unfunny witless dreck. Almost as bad as Spaceballs.
But Dolly is very cool.
#2 should be titled I Remember When I Lost My Mind.
I agree that it's a problem that TikTok is used to grab snippets of other people's video and send it along. They should provide a link to the original at least. Do you think it's different from quoting a substantial paragraph on a blog?
As for drain clearing as a random act of public service, we have that in our neighborhood in the snow season. Here are photos I blogged in 2019, showing the drain Meade "adopted."
To be honest, Cincinnati isn't a bad city. It has real charm, and some great culture. I'm not sure if Bowie was joking. My guess is it was just one more city on a tour, and didn't have the glamour of other venues. I can assure you, it's a better city than Cleveland.
It also has great history: abolitionism, Copperheads, the Underground Railroad, the Great Turkey Massacre...
ha ha
"Are you a prostitute?"
She is so sweet. Love it.
Dolly played a madam in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. That was funny when I was a kid. More whores in that movie that any movie I've ever seen. Dancing whores, happy whores.
Squeaked by with a C+!
It’s a happy whore musical. Really, it should not work. You’re a whore! But all the whores are so likable. I like Charles Durning, who plays the governor. He’s a whore, too. Does his little whore dance. Everybody’s a happy hooker in this one, except Burt. He’s pissed off the whole movie. Probably because his girlfriend is a prostitute.
I think I'm going to memorize her response in case I ever get asked anything about prostitution.
"Oh, prostitutes. Well, we're all sinners trying to find our way. I try not to judge. Are you a prostitute?"
Click my Cincinnati tag. I had great times there!
I suspect the unclogging drains guy that you know from YouTube is also behind this TikTok account.
It has many videos and over a million followers: https://www.tiktok.com/@unclogging_drains
I withdraw the suspicion.

That is he's giving credit generally to 2 other accounts as he lifts their work

My ancestors came from the old country. Grandpa was a Basque leaf herder.
9 reminds me of the flooding of Barillari Books at One Miffin Place in Cambridge some 30 years ago. A storm drain clogged with leaves, then rain water level rose up over the curb and sidewalk and cascaded down the steps into the basement bookstore.
Re the drain unclogging video: In our previous home in northern Illinois our property backed up to the local high school’s sports fields. The school had sloped the ground so all the rain water flowed to a culvert on our property that ran right under my home office at the back of our garage. I had to periodically unclog the grate opening into the culvert in order to prevent my office being flooded.

I checked. Post 10 is the YouTube channel that I used to get a kick out of. It resonated with me because there was a storm drain next to our driveway back where we used to live, and in winter I had to be careful to clean snow away from its opening or I’d have meltwater all over the front of the drive. Not a real problem if it stayed in liquid state, but if it froze overnight …
I liked the drain clearing. Reminds me of a street close by that often has develops a pool during heavy rain due to a clogged drain. It's an arterial so cars will come tearing through and send up rooster tails of water. A kindly neighbor usually goes out with his rake to clear the drain, just as this man did.
I found that "I lost my mind" clip hilarious.
What does that say about me?
