Musk should reveal to the public whatever he can discover about Twitter's decision to ban Donald Trump.
Part of this effort to create a true global town square will be to implement an interface between competing social networks and allow cross pollination between them.
There are some pretty big egos involved.
But they will need to get over it.
The Anti-social media should be a hoot now. Rocket Man against MAGA Man. Now if we can only get Kari Lake to start one too.

Trump needs to say he has health issues and disappear. He had a wondeful opprtunity and was right on some important issues, but I think much of his personal behavior is too liberal. I like my President conservative in their behavior. Most presidents are conservative in their behavior. Trump was very liberal in his behavior. That is a no go for this conservative.

Interesting times we live in. Two social media platforms led by guys who are confident in themselves and don't mind talking shit. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg is standing around in his virtual world, wondering why nobody wants to play with him.

If not true, this is why so many people are looking forward to someone else running in 2024.
I honestly don't know if it's true and the lack of trust and diverting the conversation to a meaningless issue is itself part of the problem.
Trump got banned by Twitter. Musk bought it and fired the executives who orchestrated banning. Who's the alpha? And Trump knows who it is and hates it. The get-things-done guy is better than the call things out and whine guy.
Musk likely can choose much better replacements while Trump would pick people others promote who would betray him at the first chance.
Competition complements the natural order to regulate production and consumption with an "invisible hand."

I have some hope for Twitter and hope that he does come back to it, the more divers the speakers the more useful it will be.
After staying away from twitter for about 5 months, I popped in today to see what's different. Turns out, not much--after less than 10 minutes of reading tweets, I feel dumber and more annoyed.

Whenever I read someone objecting to Mean Tweets, Porn Stars, or Gold Faucets, I think, hey, try substituting the words “low energy prices, healthy economy, secure borders” for the word “Trump”.
