Don't worry, Bette. I still call you a woman. A stupid bitch, but a woman.

I'd like to think Bette Midler is being red pilled, but I have no faith she has the character and integrity to follow this thinking through to the obvious and inevitable conclusion.

Ah Bette-you are now officially a TERF. New word I learned just a day or so ago. You're going to get drummed our of the radical feminist club for being trans exclusionary.

It's true though. Rich atheletes like Megan Rapinoe is all for transgenders playing sports, but she would have cried like a little girl if a boy took HER place. And we ALL know it.

And she can't blame Trump for this one.

Another culture-wrecker discovers that traditional culture did things the way they did for good reason, and she's not happy with the way things have been carried to their inevitable conclusions.

Other examples abound. John Cleese springs to mind, he of the Monty Python sketch crew who delighted in tearing down traditional British culture, and who is now aghast at how the times have changed... Never mind that he helped change them in the first place.

Bette Midler will discover that she grew up in and benefited from a cultural matrix she's helped to destroy. May she enjoy the benefits of it all.

The funniest thing about all this is how blind these geniuses are to the reality of things, John Cleese and Bette Midler alike. They are living embodiments of Chesterton's Fence, having torn out by the roots all those things that they themselves benefited from in the common culture. Now that those things are gone, they fail to recognize their own role in what's happened, are are decrying things that they supported being carried out to their logical conclusions.

All y'all feminists are not going to like the way things look, in a truly egalitarian and totally equal society. What you forgot was that you had a privileged position in the old regime, and now that you've wiped that regime out, you're back to where you were before it came into being: Physically weaker, and disadvantaged by biologic facts that are as yet unchanged. I don't think many of you are going to like it, because men are inherently better at everything you took for granted. Once you erased your privileges and priority in society that you possessed by being the childbearers, well... There's not much point to you, is there? Women, absent childbearing, are pretty much just smaller and weaker men who aren't very useful in the male roles they tried to usurp.

It'd be funny, except that it isn't. Women in general would have been a hell of a lot better off if they'd have simply retained and enjoyed their former positions in it all, because the sad fact is, they can't compete in a gender- or sex-immaterial world. When the US Women's Soccer Team gets its ass handed to it by a bunch of 15-year old boys, that's an indication that women, might, just might, in general...? Want to retain their privileges as women, vice trying to be cut-rate half-ass males. Because, in general terms, across the entire population of women? That's about all they're capable of doing.

Ha, ha. Women by sex. Feminine by gender. Mothers by choice. Welcome. Men and women are equal in rights and complementary in Nature/nature.

That said, women, men, and "our Posterity" are from Earth. Feminists are from Venus. Masculinists are from Mars. Social progressives are from Uranus.

The Dems problem with Dobbs isn’t that it will limit abortions in conservative states.

Their problem with Dobbs is that it has forced them to choose between women’s rights activists and trans-rights activists.

The term Reproductive rights is not as effective as Women’s rights.

Best Bette Midler Twitter saga was forcing Geraldo Rivera to apologize for a 1970s groping accusation.

The rebirth and crux of the forced apology was that Geraldo came out in support of Matt Lauer and his Austin Powers sanctioned NBC office. Of course Twitter being the modern era past grievance center, Midler posted a clip of a 1991 interview with Barbara Wa-Wa. According to Time, In the 1991 interview, Midler recounts what she calls Rivera’s “unseemly behavior,” accusing him and his producer of pushing her into a bathroom. There, they allegedly broke two vials of amyl nitrate, pushed them under her nose, and groped her. “I did not offer myself up on the alter of Geraldo Rivera,” she tells Walters.

Geraldo apologized, but tweeted he remembered the incident differently. Must have been the amyl nitrate. I know this is a bit off topic, but in 2022 Midler and Rivera seem like two people who really deserve each other.

I don't think she realizes white women are the main reason we are facing this insanity. Ya'll voted for it, and nobody is pushing it harder than current Gen X and Millennial feminist heroes. Even the latest member of the US Supreme Court, Ketanji Brown Jackson is all about birthing people and men having periods.

Just wait for the upcoming intersectionality split between boomer feminists and the Millennial/Generation Z transgender community. It's a delicate alliance, only held together by resentment of all white men.

I'm picturing a Chappelle skit... Do you Geraldo, take this menstruating birthing person Bette as your lawfully wedded legal partner and promise to honor all the terms of the negotiated pre-nup? You may now break out the amyl nitrates and grope the bride".

Everyone is aware, I am sure, that the "people" in "pregnant people" are not trans women, but trans men. Right?

Ie, people who would not win at every sport. People who can get pregnant, which does not include post-op trans women. People who were born women and are now going to the men's bathroom, not the reverse.

In other words, people the misgendering right would call "WOMEN". And that the term "pregnant people" is meant to include trans men, ie people who were born female and may be pregnant but identify as male, but not trans women, ie people who were born male and cannot get pregnant but identify as female.

Most of the people complaining about this make no sense at all and many are active gaslighters who are actively seeking to curtail WOMEN'S rights.

I've wondered how in the world feminist could let them get by with taking away their womanhood? How they could sit by and let innocent children be raped by fake transwomen? How they could let men call themselves female and participate with much less powerful women in sports events? Has Bette finally figured that part out?

ON the surface she is right. They are erasing women... the they are "well meaning, inclusive" women though. The pandering to the trans "movement" is what is erasing women. And people like her voted for this kind of thing over and over.

As they say, be careful of what you wish for and all. She is raging against herself and her fellow travelers.
