That's pretty awful, but I'd prefer fewer quick cuts. I can't tell, are those are each unique instances "passage of time" or is he playing a small number of instances over and over again? It matters as to how embarrassing it is for Harris.
'Rule five: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.'
I think of Russell Brand as an offensively foul-mouthed progressivist vulgarian who earns his living doing 'comedy' and maybe he is but, as the cases of people like Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, and Bari Weiss suggest, perhaps I ought not to be so entirely dismissive of him; the part of that video that I watched was entertaining. I believe I didn't bother with him the other time or times Althouse linked to him.
>>"And we'll have fun, fun, fun now that daddy took the T-bird away."
Despite the quotation marks, the actual lyric is, of course, completely different and pretty much the opposite:"And she'll [not we'll] have fun, fun, fun [TIL HER] daddy [takes] the T-bird away." As if the rest of the comment wasn't stupid enough on its own, the altered quote makes no sense and it's not clear what the [altered] quote is even supposed to mean, suggest, or imply [as I learned 50 years ago in a class on classics of historical writing, the "triple bomb" was a favorite of Gibbon in the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire].
Grade: F, for misusing a "popular" lyric to try to appear clever, when you can't even come close to using it correctly. The lyric itself would, of course, be unrecognizable by most of the younguns, but likely familiar to a lot of the old folks here.
Not very familiar with Brand's oeuvre. About the only thing I've seen is his performance as a gross yuk in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I did sit through this, and it was at least mildly amusing and perceptive to some extent.
How did we get here? HOW are these people (Jo Biden? Kamela Harris? Gadfly?) the best and brightest of the Democrat party? WHY Can't the democrat party find SOMEONE with a 3 digit IQ?

Life altering.
At about the 2:40 minute we hear the word "garnered", but Ann calls no attention to it, nor did I notice the tag.

It’s been the case for awhile now. The GOP does better when they are not the face of power.

and yet - SNL passes up on all the dumb crazy insanity given to them by Joe and Kamala.
How can anyone watch Joe trying to function and not agree that there is great significance to the passage of time?
Pretty funny stuff. His takes are very entertaining.
Never been a Russell Brand fan, until now. His commentary was spot on and very funny. Enjoyed my passage of time with him.
She is just a fool. The geniuses who put this crew in power must have been laughing on election night.
I guess gadfly has been stalking Trump in Florida. It's time for you to get Trump out of your head. Your imagination is running wild.
Gadfly: It would be a Silver Alert, not an Amber Alert.
But the humor was woefully and typically lacking, regardless.
@tim maguire It's all in succession. Here it is, in all its glory. https://www.c-span.org/video/?c5006907/user-clip-kamala-harris-passage-time
Could Russel Brand deliver a funny Jesus?
Are you listening Daily Wire?
Gadfly - the group of people treating Trump as if he is still president is the hack-press, the Cheney Hillary supporters, and well--- YOU.
Stuff sounds funnier with an English accent.

You are just really stupid.

He's right, but he must have given Katy Perry migraines 24/7.
I just listened to that today!!!!
Was it today? Mmmmmm…
The passage of time lol
Yay, gadfly!!!
Buckle up!

Does it please those who voted for Jill Stein that now we apparently have Gertrude Stein as vice president?
How did we get here?
HOW are these people (Jo Biden? Kamela Harris? Gadfly?) the best and brightest of the Democrat party?
WHY Can't the democrat party find SOMEONE with a 3 digit IQ?
The rule is, every organization can be modeled as being controlled by a cabal of it's enemies. Somehow I never thought that would apply to Democrats.
The sheer panic in gadfly's hilariously stupid hot takes whenever gadfly's beloved Biden and Harris are mocked is palpable.

Then there are those who take advantage of information technology to get, you know, informed.
Joementia is confused/delayed processing the initial "Clap!" then "Not now!"
directives fed to his earpiece.
"Salute the Marines"
Into what hellscape have I wandered when Russell Brand is a voice of sanity and clear-eyed reason?
"And we'll have fun, fun, fun now that daddy took the T-bird away."
This line in fact appears in the last verse of The Beach Boys’ song.
I would watch him anytime, rather than the unfunny SNL. Maybe NBC should give HIM that timeslot for a funny late night show!!
If he keeps this up, he will be targeted with some sort of sexual misconduct accusation.
